My car apparently needed a new shoe and got towed to Big O Tires....my first visit. I used to be loyal to another tire shop, but after getting stuck w two rounds of "surprise! low-quality tires," I broke up w them. Enter Big O, where Elijah and Brandon basically rescued me. The wait wasn't bad, they slapped on a shiny new tire, and boom.... my car is road-worthy again!! My daughter was in town for the weekend and had to drive back to college in Santa Barbara and Assistant Manager, Brandon, and his crew, Kyle and Ethan squished me into their schedule and installed two tires, rotated and balance and gave me alignment for her car. When the alignment was not correct they did not hesitate to correct the situation and stayed 45 minutes after hours to make sure everything was satisfactory and safe to drive. I had two of our cars in there for a full synthetic oil change. Big O overtightened the oil cap so badly that it couldn't be removed without breaking and replacing the cap assembly. So now I'm out $200 for each car. There is absolutely no reason why an oil cap should be tightened on like that!! Don't take your cars to Big O for an oil change. You will end up paying way more in damage than what you save from their coupons. They don't even deserve a 1 star. read more

Chad the owner right away let me know the situation and had a new filter ordered and replaced. They ensure there was no lingering oil left in or around the car. They need to fix their scheduling before they booked people. We waited so many hours and told us to come back before 5:00pm but our car was not even ready. They didn't even get a chance to fix all the issues in my car coz they said they didn't have the proper equipment. Price is reasonable but I just hoped they would be honest with the customers early on if they can't fix the car and if they don't have a qualified mechanic so we don't waste our time waiting. read more

I have already left a good review for this place the other day but I just had to write another one. I sent my daughter to this location to get a diagnostic this is my daughter's first car and she has already been taken advantage of for the two other places she went to prior to this one wanting to charge her over $200 for a diagnostic. The manager Travis diagnosed her car, gave her an idea of what everything would cost and listed the work needed by priority and didn't charge her anything for the diagnostic check. This was very helpful and it gives my daughter an idea of what needs to be done how soon it needs to be done and gives her time to save up the money to have it done. I am so pleased to hear that they did not take advantage of the fact that she knows nothing about this kind of stuff. The employees here and the manager Travis runs this place with Integrity and honesty & unfortunately businesses like this are few and far between nowadays so thank you to all of you at Big O tires in Murrieta, you guys are the best!! read more

My wife waited 3 and a half hours after having an appointment for a $140 oil change on her Santa Fe. They said it would be done in two hours at the initial check in. In all of that time not only did they not wash it but they also didn't provide the multi point inspection. This is the worst experience we have ever had getting an oil change. We have been going to this dealer for years with multiple Hyundais. I could have gone to jiffy lube and got better service at a much lower price. Not sure if we will ever go back. read more

Everything!! Brandon on your front desk was great. I was on my way to take a 500 mile trip in my RV and I noticed that one of the side walls on my tires was torn. I called Brandon told him the size of the tire and asked him if he could find one for me. He called me back initially was quoting me a little bit over $400 and I told him I've seen cheaper out there. Will you have been using this location for a couple years now and they have always taken such great care of us and our vehicles. Our Lexus, our Ford Ranger, and two of our Boys Ford Mustangs. They have done everything from engine repair, fuel system replacement and new tires. Definitely a trustworthy location and team! Travis, the manager is always super helpful and with this location, it's not always about money, it's making sure their customers and community is taking care of. Eyewitnesses first hand when a young lady came in and needed an alignment and two new tires. She was a new single mom and couldn't afford to have the alignment and two new tires. I called my wife real quick and let her know the situation so that we could offer to help pay for her to get all the work she needed done so her car would be safe. upon hearing this, Travis also took it upon himself to also help this young lady and together we were able to make sure she got her alignment and brand new tires. this is why I continue to use Big O Tires here in Murrieta. The check engine light came on in our 21 year old SUV. Took it to Big-O and Travis was awesome! Kept us informed through the whole diagnostic process. Ordered need parts BEFORE we approved the work, just in case and to make sure he got them in time. He even sent me video of the smoke test! Wife hit a curb and busted the rim and tire on her Volvo- I took it off the car and brought it in. Asked if they could remove the tire. (Just wanted the tpms out of it) They told me they don't do removals only repairs and install..... we bought 4 new 20" tires for the Wife's Awd from them in Dec 24' to the tune of $1,300 from this location and will be replacing 4 more once the new rim arrives GUESS where I won't be having her take it !!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS LOCATION!!! I went in to get warranty on my 60,000 mile warranty for Cooper tires I bought three years ago. I have put on 30,000 miles. At the same time I put the tires on, they put a front lift kit on my GMC 2500HD. They denied my claim, saying that the reason my tires were "cupping" is from the shocks. Ok...fast forward to two calls to places that sell shocks. They BOTH told me that the tires are cupping because I didn't get new shocks when I lifted the front. I called Big O back and let them know what I had discovered. Travis Hummel, the manager, couldn't care less. "That was a few years ago and a different owner. So there's nothing I can do to help you". I was upset and told him that was an unacceptable answer and that I wanted some sort of resolution. He then responded by saying that he's going to hang up because of the way I'm talking to him. I wasn't yelling. I simply wasn't accepting his response. The reason for the cupping on my tires is their fault and they won't do a thing about it!! I will be going to all social media and to Big O as well as small claims court on Monday morning! THIS IS THEIR FAULT!!! Unacceptable and horrible customer service!! read more

I had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation, over an hour later my car hadn't even been touched. No communication whatsoever. I was in the waiting area because being a widow I have no one to help me. Never mind I just asked for my keys and left. No apologies, nothing said like can we make another appointment for another day. They didn't care. I normally purchase my tires here and have my vehicle maintained with Big-O, not any longer. I may be only one customer but statistics show that a unsatisfied customer reaches an average of 15 people. My late husband's friend is the regional manager for Big O you bet I will be sharing my experience with him. I see other reviews of the same complaint, so sad their service has gone downhill.
