Unfortunately living in a small town you are limited on options for auto service, repairs, tires, etc.. but after numerous mishaps including a blow out on the side of a dangerous road due to a shotty patch job, I'm done giving my money to this business. This was a very bad experience. No customer service at all. This is the closest store to me and I live 75 miles from Safford, I had a 1:00 PM appointment to have 4 new tires installed on my car. Before we left my husband called to verify that they did in fact have the tires in-stock. He was assured that yes they did. We arrived 15 minutes early and checked in and were told it would be 1.5 hours....with an appointment...at 2:30 we were told that they couldn't find the 4th tire, and that they hadn't installed any tires yet. We decided to install the 3 because they guaranteed that they would have the 4th tire the next day and they would install it. An hour later they had the 3 tires installed. The next day we called again to verify that they were going to have the tire and were told yes it was on the truck and would be at the shop by the time we got there for our 3 PM appointment. We sat in the waiting room for 45 mins when someone came out and said that they had the correct brand, however it was for a 16" wheel, not a 15" wheel that is on my car. They offered to put on a different brand tire of the correct size and then they would again order the correct tire and call us to have the tires switched out. 25 mins later we left. This was all on Monday and Tuesday. Today is Saturday. The shop has never called and I don't think they will. I won't go back if they do call. As we were leaving I asked if there was anyway we could get a credit since we were going to have to drive 150 miles 2 extra times due to their error. The guy said that he would get to work on it. Don't ever go to Big O Tire! All their locations are awful and they will rip you off and do terrible work. They don't care about their customers. I mean that. They put the wrong brakes on my son's car and sent him three hours through the mountains in the dark. They put the old hardware back on as well. They also failed to mention things that were wrong with the car right in front of their face. The brake job didn't even last a week! Thank goodness my son had the right sense of mind to take it back in. Then they still did a terrible job. I asked for my son's money to be refunded and they showed that they care about the money more than the customer. They did nothing to make this right. Oh they attempted to fix the brakes because they had too but that was it. Don't ever give them your business! Over the years I've given them so much business. I've been so patient with them through all of their screwups and let me tell you there were a lot of screwups. Let's play a game. Can anybody tell me why I'm still needing to put air in my tire? If your answer was Big O tires worked on that tire twice and still couldn't get it right then you are correct! You have been warned! read more

Would give negative stars if I could. Came in to get a oil change. Was told it would be around $60- I have a foreign vehicle, I expected that. Then was told it was a "more rare" oil type and needed a specialty tool and the price went to $160. Took almost two hours and I picked my car up. Went to eat lunch and grabbed a few groceries. Got 20 miles from Duncan where I live and my check engine light came on and my car told me to check my oil level. I had absolutely zero oil in my car and oil POURING from the underneath of my brand new (to me) car. Whoever had done my oil change didn't put the plug back in all the way and I lost all 9 quarts of oil. I called them and complained- it was a Saturday afternoon- they informed me they closed at one and I could get a tow back, and they would cover the cost, and fix the problem, but couldn't do it until Monday. I was stranded on the side of the road for two hours until I could get help and fix the plug and re fill with oil. I got a refund. But I won't ever be doing business with big o again. went to Big O tire in Safford, AZ after a bad experience in Tucson with Big O. Purchased two more tires. Price was fair. We had an appointment for 11 o'clock. Still here at 1:38 tires are still not mounted. Gave them one more try, never coming back. Finally got the car back by 2:15. I nicely asked the guy that brought it back from the shop if he could just leave the air conditioner on because it's 103 out here. He put the key back in the ignition turn the car on and then got out and slammed our driver side door as hard as he could. please don't support such a place that is so unprofessional and abusive to your $55,000 vehicle. Stay away from this place! I took my 2010 Mercedes E63 AMG to this place in a pinch as (I was passing through and needed a front tire replaced immediately). They told me my camber set up was the reason for my unusual tire wear that caused me to get a new front tire. Long story short they said I needed camber bolts on all four corners to prevent this from happening again. I agreed and scheduled the parts to be ordered and work to be done. On my appointments at I show up and they told me they couldn't do the service because their suspension guy called in sick. I then took my car to a more reputable garage to do the camber bolts which I bought from "Big No". The reputable garage notified me that big no over torqued my wheel bolts and almost couldn't remove my wheels without possible damage. Another thing they discovered was that my car did not even need the camber bolts big no told me I needed‍‍‍. Anyway stay away from big no tires read more

Big O' Tires in Safford isn't anything like the other Big O' Tires that I've bought tires from in Tucson and in Globe. Their customer service really needs some improvement. With all my respect for Mr. Preston whom I've known for years and I'm sure this is not what he expects of his team. I bought tires there and purchased the Road Hazard Plan for the tires but I've been trying to get a tire repaired and the tires rotated and they just keep telling me they are overly booked. It's disappointing that I will probably need to drive to Globe or Tucson to get this taken care of. I hope the customer service improves at the front desk but it may not? I keep hearing and reading similar experiences from other customers. This could be one of the best tire stores in the Gila Valley. Thank you. My honest - respectful customer opinion. We came in for an oil change and I have to say, the service is very disappointing. There was no one in the office so we were hopeful that our wait wouldn't be too long. The cashier told us it would be an hour and a half. That's doable so we sat down with books to pass time. Close to two hours later, they told us that we needed a new air filter. Forty min after that, it's finally ready. I think the wait is unreasonable considering it was just an oil change. I know maybe due to Covid they are short staffed, but if that is the case, give a more realistic wait so we can walk somewhere and eat or do something else for three hours. read more

This is the worst experience I've ever had purchasing tires. I went in on Tues to get quote on 4 new tires. I went back on Thurs to order and pay up front for the tires. The quote on Thurs was $130 more than Tues. After talking to the manager they honored the original quote. I told at that time I wanted my old tires. The tires only has 30,000 miles on them. I made an appointment for Monday to have the new tires installed. When I dropped off yhe Jeep at 8:45am I reminded I would be taking my old tires with me. I received a text at 10am that the Jeep was ready. I arrived to pick up the Jeep at 10:30am. It took them an hour to tell me my tires were gone. The first offered me $50 for my tires. I talked to the manager myself. He offered me $80 take it or leave it. After spending over $900 and only offering me $80 for my 4 half worn out tires I believe someone should be fired. If I could rate no stars I would. There is not one good thing I can say about this business. Brought my truck here for promotional sale needed 4 tires. My tires were not on sale...they didn't even have my size tires ( '04 F250...really?) in stock. Sold me two tires, and said they would have 2 more next week. Left truck at 9:00am to be done before 2:30 pm. Called me at 11:30 and said they didn't actually have the tires they sold me. Back to store found 2 different tires(that were of coarse more expensive) and made me an appointment for the following week at 8:00 am to get the 2 rear. Drop truck off following week at 8:00 am they say truck will be ready in 1 hour. Back at 9:00 am to pick up truck, they sold my tires to someone else day before and my tires won't be in till 10:00!! I went in to get two front tires replaced. I was quoted $118 a tire . 2 hours later they said I needed all 4 new tires . I said ok at $118 a tire . In the end I was charged $671! After I left I see they charged a $89 tire protection fee ! I did not authorize that ! I was not even aware of it . I was scammed . read more

We called a day in advance to get 6 tires for a 40 foot trailer. The tires we had on it were about useless and we needed to revel to Phoenix the next day. Long story short situation was urgent and we need tires fast. So we called and ordered the tires and they said that they would arrive at 10 in the morning. So we show up about 10 and we're told that they "accidentally" forgot to order the tires!!?!? How does someone forget to do their j o b?? Anyway don't go here and if you do don't let Brian help you at all because he will forget how to do his job for you too as well. read more
