I made an appt the day before for * Fuel Filter Change * Oil Change * Cabin Filter Change * Air Filter Change I made the appt for 9 am & I dropped off my vehicle. I was called shortly after to let me know I needed a brake fluid flush which I agreed. I didn't make any plans just so I wouldn't rush them as they were busy. When I picked my car up he let me know they were unable to do the brake fluid flush & that due to that he would apply a discount, they were short staffed & like I mentioned busy so I didn't make a big deal of it. They were attentive, friendly & professional & honest which I appreciated.. I will come here again as I own an Audi vehicle and you can't just trust anyone with this type of car. read more

We pulled in with a tire problem from the expressway with our horse trailer. They came out immediately and took the tire off saying they didn't want the horses to stand any longer. How considerate since we had driven from out of state and had hours yet to drive. They patched our tire and had us back on the road in less than a half hour. read more

Please do not use Big o Tires in Saint Robert, mo.reason they told me my truck needs a new engine. They was supposed to change the fuel pump but refused to do so. I ask why do you think the engine needs to be replaced he said that the technician said he heard knocking noice. I ask for an engine diagnostic test, the store manager type a letter. So I went in for a fuel pump was up-priced to an engine costing 6000 to 80000. It's a shame that a person works hard for there money and you have an organization that up-price you every time you go there. contact the headquarters and waiting on the owner to contact me. People we don't deserve this kind of service we work hard for our money. Bottom line up front is they never hook the truck for a engine test. read more

Over 2 and a half hours and $25 later just to plug a tire after asking how long it would take bc I could come back later..but they secure my keys and take the truck back saying it was up next...and over an hour later still did not provide an update or complete the task...could have just been honest and retained my business..but they did not...definitely was my decision point..if it takes that long to plug a tire then I'm not even going to imagine how long it will take to purchase and replace 4 new tires..time is more valuable than anything..now I know why all my troops say to go to Discount Tire In Springfield. read more

I have had service here before and found the lady at the counter to be extremely rude (but I kept my cool and didn't snap back.) So I go in today because this is a Holman vendor and my engine light had come on. I went in and saw several people waiting in the lobby, but there was no one at the counter. I waited for 8 minutes at the counter and never saw an employee at all, so I gave up and left. I won't go back at all now. read more

They do not honor appointment time and was charged for unauthorized work. Made an appointment to have my third party tires mounted/balanced on our family van and to save my pregnant wife from waiting too long. After making it to her appointment time, my wife was told it would be 45 minutes until a bay was open. It took an hour and a half before the car was worked on and another hour for two wheels to be mounted (not balanced as requested). About another 30 minutes for a "free" alignment to include up selling (to be fair, nothing is free). Came out with a receipt stamped 2.5+ hours after appointment time and unauthorized service charges for TPMS replacement sensors and a reset fee which mounted over $40. A two tire mount service which I was hoping to be less than $30 was over 75$. This location has great front desk personnel with awesome customer service but is masked by their sly mechanics. Man, i do love the guys that work here. Super friendly and knowledgeable with cars. But, I wonder why they take appointments when things don't happen at the appointment times. I had an appointment at 1100 and my car wasn't seen till 3 hours after the appointment time and it was just an oil change. I had things to do for the rest of the day but it was ruined by sitting in their store for hours waiting. read more

I rarely write reviews for places other than restaurants or hair salons but the level of customer service I experienced at the Saint Robert, MO Big O Tire this past time was unbelievably great. Every time I've gotten my service checked which is regularly due to how much I travel, I've had the best experience at this location. I just call and see if they have any openings (if not, I make an appointment) and typically they can get me in so I just drop my car off and wait for a call that my vehicle is ready. This last time, I had a man named Chuck take care of some concerns I had about my vehicle and he provided me with top notch service and expertise. I highly recommend Chuck at Big O Tire and will continue to spread the word. read more

Bad customer service, I was inside the store for 3 min before anyone acknowledged me, even tho they saw me walked in. No greeting as they did not care for my business. I don't usually write reviews but this type of service need to be stop. I was ready to make a huge purchase but I refuse to support this type of environment and behavior. "Shake and Bake" This review has some length to it but will explain in great detail the level of service Big O Tire delivers. I have a 2016 Ram 1500 4x4, 10K miles and had Goodyear SRA factory tires. Actually the second set of tires from the dealer. When I test drove the truck before purchase, it had a very noticeable wobble at 65-75 and didn't want anything to do with the truck. Myself being hesitant due to the fact that my previous car, 2016 Mustang GT Premium, was just repurchased from Ford as a manufacturer buyback due to heavy vibration. Hence my hesitation. The dealer assured it was a tire issue and they'd correct it. Truck had 100 miles on it and now a new second set of Goodyear SRAs. The shake was barely noticeable then. I chalked it up to being a 4x4 truck. (Having cars most of my life) Over the months, I've noticed the shake getting more noticeable and speed variable; now 45-75 and horrible above 80. I called Big O Tire and spoke to Hutch, it was a Thursday and set an appointment for that evening. I was running late from work at arrived around 5:50pm. I even called ahead of time to ensure I wasn't "keeping them". Hutch assured it was fine and to come in. They balanced the wheels to discover all were 1.5-2.0oz weight off. I left that night and drove the truck and was disappointed because the shake wasn't gone, just different speeds now. I called again Friday morning and spoke to Bennie, he wanted to see it as soon as I could bring it in. I arrived around 0830 and met Bennie. He introduced me to Jim, the service tech. I gave Jim the keys and hopped in the truck. Right away Jim noticed the wobble and confirmed every worry I had. A sigh of relief because we all know those times where "we can't replicate the issue". Jim explained they would road force balance and determine the issue. I left the truck with them and was called that afternoon to be informed what I pretty much knew from my research. The tires are out of round and not balancing well at all. Many Ram owners were having issues with these tires. Jim explained they could warranty them through Goodyear. This is after Jim called multiple Dodge dealerships, including mine, and Dodge customer care to which he was told they don't cover tires. Goodyear did say they would but only replace with the same set of tires. This will be set #3. No thanks, I asked Jim about replacing with Michelin LTX. I've always ran Michelin and Continentals on all my previous vehicles with no Issues. I rather do it once and right. Jim calculated a great deal and I put a deposit down that day and the tires arrived Monday morning. I dropped the truck off and picked it up that afternoon. Before I could pay, Bennie hands me the keys and says, "Drive it first", confidently. So I obliged. And was pleasantly surprised. The truck was smooth at every speed. More than satisfied. Bennie, Jim and Hutch, Gentlemen, I appreciate your assistance with everything and will be back. The worst customer service ever, each time I go there it's either a hit or miss. I only go to air my tire up and the are unprofessional misleading people. They don't acknowledge your presence and when they do they make up reasons why they can't help you. They even charged me once $10 dollars a tire for air. Dropped my car off here to get tires because the dealership that does my repairs said I needed some tires but they didn't have the size I need in stock so I went online and pick the set from big O and my service center at the dealership I use had mentioned that my back brakes or down to one and a half to one mm of pad remaining and would need to be changed and recommended doing it when I got my tires so I dropped off my car told them to call me with the estimate for the for the brakes and left to go to work got a phone call a couple of hours later from some technician telling me that my brakes were all the way down to the metal and they had started grinding into my rotors and that they needed to change the brakes and the rotors which is essentially like three times the amount of a job billing hours extra parts but I question. And he said well we won't even touch your brakes if you don't put rotors on it since I was at work and obviously didn't have a car to go look at them myself I called my dealership and they said that. Well they can't say with 100% accuracy that that would have been very very unlikely considering I had not even been hearing my brakes squeak little on grind so I declined to have my brakes done and brought my car back to my dealership when he got when I got there my brake pads on the back end had one MMA pad left they were not metal on metal to my rotors and I asked them to go ahead and do my front brakes at the same time my lesson here is I will never bring a car to them for anything other than to change a tire I would never trust them should do engine work again I've already spent well over $3,000 at this location but this will be the last money I spend there read more

Very shady and don't deserve even 1 star. These guys are ripping people off. I paid $384.21 to get my car fixed,but they took the money and the car has the same problem. They are rude.The manager is a total jerk. People please do not go to this shop. They don't care about customers. You will be left with a bad experience. They also intimidate customers when you complain. The manager said he was gonna call the cops on me because I said I got ripped off. Don't trust this shop with your car. YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF! Went in for a low tire, slow leak. Said I had a nail near sidewall, but never showed it to me. Took vehicle to another location, examined it with me watching. No nail. Could not find leak. Tried to get me to get four new tires because I had all wheel drive (current set less than 10k miles). Felt like I was getting scammed. Did not charge me though, which is nice. Not trust worthy. In the two months since my visit I've had no leaks so there was obviously no nail. read more

Every time I need something done to my car whether it's a oil change or just new tires they always take care of me without any hesitation or long wait. Whether I'm the first one in or coming 10 minutes prior to them closing they have not turned me around. Very professional and knowledgeable when it comes to vehicles. read more

If I could give them no stars I would. Bought a new set of tires for my truck and had them mounted and balanced all through these guys. After, they informed me that my pitman arm and idler arm were bad and they could not do an alignment. I had known about this already, however I am a mechanic and will do most of my own maintenance on my vehicles. They told me that it would be 1300$ to replace the parts. At this time I asked if my ball joints were ok and they said they were all fine. I replaced the pitman arm and idler arm (for 235$) and took it back to get an alignment about two weeks later. This time I was informed that they couldn't do the alignment because ALL 4 ball joints were bad..... Two weeks later.... I was quoted that it would be 140 a piece for lower ball joints and 107 a piece for the uppers. All 4 with labor was 1050$!!!! Obviously I declined and brought it home to check them. All 4 are fine, which didn't surprise me because I replaced them 50,000 miles ago. Bottom line these guys are shady, I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere or at the very least get a second opinion. read more

I have been a customer of this Big O Tires for a while now and they've always been a good company to deal with, but I didn't really know how much they went out of their way to make sure the customers get amazing service until recently. After getting a part changed in their shop to fix an issue, my truck was still acting up and broke down two hours away from home. I was so worried, but when I gave them a call they got straight to work helping me fix everything right away! From the tow to finding a nearby mechanic to correct the issue, and even put me in contact with a reputable car rental company. They made what could have been a horrible situation into a quick and successful fix-all from over 100 miles away, and even checked on me in the meantime!! I cannot speak highly enough about the level of commitment of this company going above and beyond to provide exceptional service! Whether it's a simple oil change or a huge fix, these guys truly are top of the line mechanics. I recommend them 10/10! read more

Big O Tires is a rip off. The mechanics make up issue to charge unsuspecting consumers more money. In my case o went in for a front end alignment and i was told due toy car having DVC I would ne charged the max $100 for the alignment. DVC controls braking nothing to do with alignment. Aftwr researching other service stations in the area cost is $75. read more

Totally shady and tries to get you to get work done that doesn't need to be done. I originally went there just for a oil change. was told I had bad tie rods, which were just replaced 5 months ago. But they continued on and how unsafe it was, so I took it back to the shop the did the tie rods and they started laughing. Be aware of what you need before you go there better yet take your business somewhere else that is honest up front. read more
