I honestly cannot remember the last time I had a Sno cone. Looking back, I did try them almost 10 years ago at Enzo's table! I'm not usually one to crave shaved ice but Sno Cafe does things differently. The ice is very soft, so those with sensitive teeth could enjoy it. What was meant to be a simple, enjoyable outing turned into an experience that left them feeling dismissed and unwelcome. Our staff member reported that while she was placing individual orders for each person in our group of six, the cashier became visibly irritated and closed the service window after the second order--without explanation. She had to knock on the window just to get someone to return and complete the remaining orders. This behavior is unacceptable under any circumstances, but especially when serving seniors who rely on patience and courtesy. Shortly afterward, while the ladies were seated at a table, one of your employees removed the umbrella that was providing them with shade. These are older adults, and shade is not a convenience--it is a matter of comfort and safety. Removing it without offering an alternative or explanation showed a disregard for their well‑being. We understand that employees may have long days, but none of this justifies treating customers--particularly vulnerable seniors--in such a dismissive manner. Our intention was to give these ladies a pleasant treat. Instead, they were made to feel like an inconvenience.
