This is the second time one of their long time drivers, hands me a tablet to select the address, after reading the whole address to them. They do this so they can blame you when it is the wrong address. I was charged 60$ for a mistake the driver made. The last time this happened, the driver threatened to call the police for not paying the amount and charging me. Clearly, they cannot charge me and police should have been called. On Saturday, they did it again and now Big Q says, I should not have paid them. They are no longer my go-to. The lack of regard for customers. I had a wake and almost missed it because driver went down Atlantic Ave towards downtown brooklyn and then turned around back to Woodhaven to head to Manhattan. 1.5 hours for a 20 min drive. {end of Atlantic Ave you can catch the BQE to Williamsburg). HORRIBLE. They don't need our business. They don't care about how they treat customers. 10 years and for nothing. I am now only using Uber. read more

Worst service ever. Driver took me to the wrong location, a residential area instead of the hospital. When I told him this is not my destination he was so rude and told me to get out of the car. Ride started off well. I called dispatch to get picked up. Quoted me 16.00 from 96th and liberty. Driver came quickly, car was clean and pleasant. Got to airport and then we had a problem with price. I was quoted 16 by dispatch. Driver demanded 25. Was unprofessional. Refused to believe me. I called dispatch who confirmed 16 and driver still was angry. Running late for a flight so driver had me in a bad spot. Refused to give me a receipt. I wanted cops to handle it but needed to get flight. Driver swore at me. Not level of service expected from private car. In addition, I gave the phone to the driver and he still wouldn't listen to dispatch. This service has something against me. I called and was left on hold for 10 minutes and then they hanged up on me. Every time I call, I get 15-20 minute wait time for a cab after I finally get through to the dispatcher. On top of that the cab shows up even later then what they told you to wait for AND after all that waiting to get a cab the driver makes up his own prices. I know it's a tough time right now with this whole Covid-19 but to be liars and crooks, we don't need a bullsh*t car service like this 1. Truly a very disrespectful company... I personally witnessed how an employee cussed out a neighbor last night. The driver looked like he just got off a JetBlue flight from Santo Domingo. In his broken English, he was demanding that the lady hurry up getting her bags from the trunk. As I approached the car to assist, he told me to back up or else. I told him to get lost. Neighbor called the base and was told that she shouldn't waste time when exiting and hung up. Tried to follow up but was told to hold and didn't get an apology. Same driver came back to the apartment building looking to pick up some customers, I told them what had happened to our neighbor earlier. Quisqueya is seriously the best car service in Queens. The drivers are mostly of latino origin, but try their hardest to speak English and understand your directions. For the most part the Quisqueya drivers have clean, late model Lincoln Town Cars. There are just too many horror stories of the local car services with broken down early nineties Buicks and Chevys. I was even stranded on the side of the GCP once when a Four Ones car broke down and a second car wasnt sent for a half hour. The best part about Quisqueya is they will take you anywhere as well as pick you up anywhere and the prices are often very negotiable. It also seems they have one of the largest fleets operating at any hour of the day and the usual wait is no longer than 10 minutes, rain or shine. read more

Quisqueya has always been my number one go to car service, but as of today I'm never calling them again! They have lost a great customer! I called them to drop me off at a friend's house. About 10 minutes later, I realized I lost my keys or I left them in the cab. So I called quisqueya and I ask the dispatcher to trace what driver dropped me off, and to ask if he found a pair of keys. They told me he did and that the driver was going to drop them off soon. Okay great, no problem so far... 10 minutes later the driver shows up demanding me to pay $8 for making a second trip (mind you the base is located in 102nd ST and Jamaica Ave and I was at Rockaway not that far)! I told him that was absurd and totally ridiculous. He claims that I agreed with the dispatcher's terms of paying him $8 for the second trip, WHEN THE DISPATCHER NEVER TOLD ME SUCH A THING! I was not going to pay the same driver again if I just had paid him $10. I told him to just throw my keys in the trash (it's cheaper for me to make a new set). Like most things in life there are good and bad things about them. I use them quite often because they are quick to arrive and their prices are reasonable. The drivers are usually courteous,the cars clean and for the most part know where they are going. That said there is also room for improvement. I do not want to be picked up by a driver that has a friend in the car with them, I do not want a driver who is talking on the cell phone the entire time I am in the car and please turn the latin music off or at least ask me if it is too loud. Last but not least when I call the base and ask for a driver that understands english because I do not speak spanish it would be nice if that is what I get. read more

This is my 3rd time riding a cab. So here is my experience The service was very efficient. My friends mother called the taxi around 12pm and they got there 12:05pm. That is extraordinary and great time coordination. and here is where i gets extra special. My friend had a grandmother who was elderly. The cab driver was very patient and was in no rush. I been on a lot of cabs that they dont have no consideration, are very rude and have no consideration for others. Its all about the money that is it. Big Q car service is not like that. They actually care for the customers. Finally when we got to bushwick brooklyn. The driver was very considerate that he literally went on the sidewalk jus tso the elderly nice lady could get on the sidewalk safely. So I could say that is very generous and the driver shows a great deal of concern. so here is my conclusion. The ride was very smooth from lefferts to bushwick, very safe The car / taxi was very well maintained and cleaned customer service was awesome. The taxi driver that I would reccomend is Jorge Gomez. Yesterday, was the first time I used this car service as it was recommended by a friend. I must say, it was the worse experience I have received dealing with any service company... We called the dispatch around 8am to have a car at our home by 8:45am to go to La Guardia airport for an 11am flight. The cab did not show up to our home until 9:20am after calling the base 5 times and being told everytime that the car was "2 mins" away. The dispatcher, would pick the phone and once you say that you are still waiting on the car, he would yell "2 mins, 2 mins" and hang out. To make a LONG story, short we missed our flights and had to spend the entire day at the airport with our one year old daughter to get on another flight because they were all booked. My trip has been cancelled and we are no longer going on our trip... I just wish that the dispatcher was honest, that the car would get to us in time. Big Q lost a customer. They are extremely inconsistent. They told me a cab will be there in 4 minutes tops. I call 2 more times in the next 15 minutes for updates. 18 minutes later and they are transferring my phone calls from one person to another. One of them told me the guy was waiting right on the corner (clearly lying as I had been outside the whole entire time). He hung up the phone and said give him 30 seconds. 3 minutes later a cab finally pulls up. Just say you don't have any cabs!! Like why make loyal customers wait so long and blatantly lie? I've had one experience with Big Q Car Service, and many experiences with a competitor (begins with a K). I've had a range of experiences with the Queens competitor who begins with a "K" (some straight out of a bad movie), but let's just say "K's Car Service" is overpriced and filled with attitude and I am done with them mostly because of their inflated prices. So, after reading many reviews of other car services, I recently called Big Q because people were saying their prices were very reasonable. I needed a round trip to see a new doctor. Both drivers were very professional, and drove safely. The vehicles were spotlessly CLEAN, this is very important to me. The vehicles also seem relatively new, and perhaps are hybrids, which may allow Big Q to use less gas and then pass on this savings to their customers in the form of lower fares. If so, I applaud them for this, and it will also give them an edge over their competitors, ensure they gain valuable loyal repeat customers, and allow them to expand their fleet and grow their business, as long as the service remains of high quality. On the return trip, it was rush hour, and the driver knew his way around and how to avoid some of the worst traffic, but this did not increase the price I was quoted when I first called for the round trip quote. The cost of the ride to the doctor was the same as the cost of the ride home, and the drivers did not deviate from the quote the dispatcher gave me, even though one of the drivers called the dispatcher to confirm the quote. Consistency between the quote given by the dispatcher, and the amount the driver charges is very important, and this was my experience. Both drivers arrived on time (even a bit earlier than I expected) and did not seem rushed at all, in other words, they treated me like a human being, not just a job. They waited patiently for me to get out of the house, and out of the doctor's building. After I was dropped off directly in front of the doctor's building, the driver told me to call when my appointment was finished and to remain inside the building. I called from inside the doctor's waiting room for the return trip and was again told to remain inside the building because the return driver would call me. The return driver called as soon as he arrived and waited patiently while I got on the elevator and came downstairs. If the bad reviews here are the result of Big Q hiring bad drivers, then I hope they have replaced those drivers. A good driver will ALWAYS get a good tip from me! For my future reference, I called to find out what the cost of a trip from the eastern most part of northern Queens to Columbia-Presbyterian medical center would be, in the future possible event that I don't feel well enough to take the LIRR and deal with the subway in the summer heat. The dispatcher quoted $65.00 each way. I feel that is very reasonable, especially considering the excellent and extremely polite and professional service and very clean vehicles. They are a 24/7 operation. Note: If you get a dispatcher with a strong accent that you cannot understand, just be polite and ask him to speak more slowly. I am highly disappointed with them. I had to take my 10 month old dog for surgery in the city. Called Big Q. Told them I have a medium size dog and a cover for their backseat out of respect. The car appears, then tells me he doesn't accept pets. He claimed the people at the base did not tell him. So they send another car and now that guy gives the same story. Said he will call the base. We heard him mention my dog breed to the person on the phone. I called Big Q and told them again we are being denied. They put me on hold for along time. I hung up and called Four Ones Car Service.
