The Life Fitness and Hammer Strength equipment are also excellent and incredibly well maintained. I've lifted at dozens, if not well over a hundred gyms throughout my life, and yet this gym holds such a warm and special place in my heart. Ignore the negative reviews; in my experience, many come from people who never truly integrated into the community that makes this place so unique. I'm leaving soon for the next stage of my medical training, and I'd be lying if I said I won't deeply miss this place. In my confirmation email, the only instruction was to bring my ID, which I reasonably assumed was for identity verification or account setup. However, when I arrived, the front desk associate (Viviana) asked about the address on my ID and, after I explained that I had just moved, told me I would need to go to a different location based on the address listed. I want to be clear--I completely understand if there is a policy requiring proof of local residency for a free trial. That's not the issue. The issue is that this requirement was not communicated beforehand, and more importantly, the way it was handled in person was extremely unprofessional. Viviana had a noticeably dismissive and unfriendly attitude from the start. When I tried to clarify my situation, she spoke over me and did not make any effort to provide clear or respectful communication. After going back and forth, she eventually offered to check with a manager. I agreed and asked her to do so, and when she returned, she said I could work out for the day--but the delivery still felt cold and unwelcoming. I also requested a tour, which she provided very briefly and with minimal effort. She pointed vaguely at different areas without explanation, and I ultimately had to walk the facility on my own to understand what was available. It's unfortunate because the gym itself is great and the other staff members I encountered were kind and welcoming. I still plan on joining because of the location and amenities, but this experience nearly cost you a new member. As a business owner with over 10 years in customer service, I know how much front desk interactions matter--they set the tone for the entire brand. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, because the service I received from Viviana does not reflect the quality of the facility.

The large turf area is great for kids who have private or team lessons. There are plenty of cages, but my only gripe is that they are all short. It would be awesome to have some wider and/or longer cages. Both trainers I've had the pleasure of working with--T and Jordan for training/recovery--have been amazing. They are professional, knowledgeable, and truly helpful. Cleanliness of the facility is hit or miss. Sometimes the restrooms are well-maintained, but other times (like yesterday morning), the toilets hadn't been cleaned from the night before, and one sink had standing water due to a plumbing issue. In the gym area, paper towels are rarely available for wiping down equipment after use. Even when they are stocked, the spray bottles are often empty. Other issues with the gym section of the facility: * Trash from the night before is frequently left behind. * Gym equipment needs repairs and upkeep. Many pieces have parts that have fallen off or are missing, and it appears they haven't been serviced since purchase. * Thick layers of dust and dirt cover most equipment, except maybe the dumbbells. * The carpeted area near the training rooms is peeling due to wear and tear.
