Every year when my oldest son go back to school I always get his backpack monogrammed with his name. To prevent some would be sticky hands, or mistaken bag Identity. This year was no different, but I didn't feel like taken a trip to the usual place in South Park Mall where I get it done real cheap. So, I gave Big Star Branding a try and I was really impressed with the way they do business. Even the smallest order gets all of their attention. I left the bag with details on what I wanted, and when I wanted to pick it up. The first thing in the morning when the order was due I received a email, with a pic of how the printing will be. The pic was exactly how I wanted. A couple hours later they called me and said my son's bag was ready. The monogram was exactly how I pictured it in my mind; same color, size, and font I wanted. I only use monogram services a couple of times a year, but I know I will always go to Big Star Branding for my monogram needs. They do many promotional items, cups, caps, and T-shirts. One sample I thought was really cool were customized disposable cups with glossy printing. I think I am going to do something with that in the very near future. Real Quick: The name of this place is really Big Star Branding, but it's a division of Expressive T-Shirts. I have requested a name change twice with no result. read more

I found this company online while doing my Christmas shopping and after only one phone call I will not be doing business with them and do not recommend them. I called to get a mug made and after not being able to help me and saying they'll transfer me, the person on the other end asked if I was driving. I responded I was, but my phone was connected to my cars bluetooth, and she responded "shame on you" and told me to call her back in 5 minutes and she'd give me the information then. It was unnecessary as I was not doing anything wrong, extremely unprofessional and they managed to lose a sale as well. read more

I would not recommend this place.. we ordered uniforms and they were not done on day they were promised... when we did get the uniforms numbers were all different sizes, also we had 2 different kind of blues on uniforms when it should've been one so our jersey looked unmatched. read more

Kim completely sold me on this business--assuring me that they would work endlessly and professionally to give me the specific high quality car wrap I was looking for. So, I trusted them to provide the same level of communication and professionalism that I provide my own clients. After an initial 2 hour meeting with Kim in which we went over what I was looking for in a wrap, she concluded by stating that I would receive 3 completed car wrap proofs to choose among. After our meeting I decided to go ahead and place an order for t-shirts as well. And here is where the issues started. Before placing this order, Kim was so attentive, she returned phone calls, and even reached out to me to follow up; however, after giving my credit card number and charging a portion of the tees and the vehicle wrap, she became very difficult to contact. She wouldn't return phone calls or even emails. In fact, she didn't even tell me (until I finally was able to reach her) that some of the shirts I chose were on back order. Needless to say, because of this, my business was unable to use the t-shirts for what we originally planned. Moving forward I spoke to Kathie, the owner, and she assured me that this was an isolated incident and would rectify the lack of communication issue with Kim. All "seemed" to be fixed after this. Vehicle wrap. Keep in mind that Kim and I met initially for about 2 hours to go over the details of what I was and wasn't looking for. I never received the 3 completed, different designs to choose from, instead, I kept receiving revisions of the exact same design. So, I took it into my own hands and used an app on my iPhone in which I came up with a rough draft of what I thought I would like. So now, I'm asked to go in and meet with the "designer" in which I ended up spending 3 hours sitting next to him giving him instruction on where to place things and what images to use. Fast forward a couple of weeks and we schedule my vehicle to be wrapped on a Thur and Fri. The week before, after 30 proofs, there were still details that somehow were overlooked by their creative team as well as my sales person. Now, Kim and I are scheduled to meet on the Friday before my scheduled vehicle wrap and she ends up calling me to cancel explaining that because there are still minor issues that she wanted to be present for the printing of the vinyl. I respected and appreciated that. So she moves on to tell me that she'll UPS the hard copy proofs to me the following day, Sat. After sending a couple of emails and text messages to her, I never heard anything....Sat came and went as did Sunday and still no proofs. I sent Kim an email threatening to cancel my order. She ended up asking what they could do to keep my business; my response was for her to communicate with me so that I could schedule accordingly and not waste my time. Friday, 1/13/17 and I know she's back in the office as she said she returned to San Antonio on Thur. I still have no proofs and still no call or email from Kim. I proceed to call to ask for her and she never picks up her phone (they have caller ID). I called back and asked to speak to the owner and was advised that she had a family emergency and would be out. I then asked to speak to a manager and was transferred to Michael. The conversation with Michael was me expressing my frustrations about Kim not following through with the proofs and her lack of communication--again. He assured me that he would rectify the situation and get with Kim. Now, during our initial phone call I mentioned that I was inclined to leave reviews on the appropriate sites based on my experience so far at which point he asked me multiple times not to, so I conceded and simply stated that I just wanted to get my vehicle wrapped. A few minutes later I received a call from Michael & he said he would refund my money and email me the .ai file for the wrap. I was appalled by this suggestion--we've been working on my vehicle wrap for over a month and I've spent countless hours of my time away from my own business to work on this. Michael was nice and explained that he thought that this would be a good resolution. I disagreed because it leaves me back at square one. He said he'd call back and give me a more reasonable resolution. I get the call and this is what I'm told, "Here's what we're going to do, I'm going to refund your money and send you the .ai files. For every bad review you leave on us, I'll leave a bad review on your business." WHAT? Big Star has never used my services before at all!! How on earth does a business threaten this type of action because I said I would share my experience on social media (1st Amendment)? I even sent the owner an email with what Michael threatened me with--still no reply. All in all, if you're looking for a place that exhibits high standards of communication, professionalism, and integrity--I would say find another and save yourself the tremendous amount of headaches. read more

My experience with this company was horrible! If you hire them- shame on you- you've been warned. This company took almost $2,000.00 from me promising that would deliver caps, jackets, and shirts by a specific date. I continually called and emailed them. No one would return our calls. Shirts and jackets were done a week late and I was forced to airfreight them to Pa. - at my expense. The caps were a different matter- they sent me three proofs- all WRONG- then after our continued follow up for almost 3 weeks, finally admitted they could not deliver our order. They offered no help or alternative for all the problems they caused. They told us they would cancel our order knowing they would leave us without any caps to give away at the BIGGEST trade show of the year. I am furious! Do NOT EVER order from these irresponsible lazy money grubbing people. read more

Working with Big Star Branding has been a nightmare. Kim is a liar and the owner Kathie is aware of how she works and handles her clients and chooses to do nothing about it. To make a long story short! We were told our hats were ready so, we waited until the next afternoon, showed up to pick up the hats and Kim told us that the hats were being "cleaned" and would be ready within the hour and she would deliver since we showed up to pick up. No phone call to apologize in the meantime that our order wasn't ready to avoid the trip over there. Time went by and nothing from Kim. I called Big Star and was told by Kim that Kathie would call me the hats were not ready yet, she no longer wanted to deal with us. She couldn't handle her lying. Time goes on and then we were told they would deliver to our house as they are still not ready. As we are expecting our correct order to be delivered, we get a call after 5pm from Kim stating that one style of the hats are on backorder. So, they are sending some other hats in the meantime. Mind you we were never told this to start with. So we were lied to the entire time and even to our face. It goes from the hats are done and being cleaned to sorry your hats are on back order! A total nightmare. I would never recommend this company or do business with them again! Kim doesn't return e-mails in a timely manner either! Customer services goes a long way! Mind you they have no issue taking your money before the order is done and completed to your satisfaction! read more

If you value your time and money stay away from this place! Took an entire month to get a sample for a simple hat design out to me, and what they sent was garbage. Their art department lacks creativity and basic understanding of design. My rep Adrian was completely incompetent and his supervisor James was just as bad. I recommend taking your business to another establishment that will treat their customers with courtesy and respect. This place is a joke. read more

My experience with Big Star Branding has been nothing but the best experience I have ever had !!!!!!. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. William had so much patience with me. The picture I took in was not good it was blurry so he reassured me that they could get a designer to come talk with me a design a fresh one. I can't remember his name but Thanks for taking the time to talk with me & my husband. When I received my order I was so excited and at awe with the finish product. I now have place my 2nd order and was greeted with warm hellos and taken care of within 3 minutes. Again my hat goes off to the whole staff for the great experience I had.
