If there were zero stars this place would get it. JUST BAD! Worst embroidery work I have ever seen and worst customer service experience of our lives. We had never seen an owner of a company have a temper tantrum in the middle of his own store before. Now we have. We went in for a simple embroidery on a graduation sash. We met with the owner, Sam, and left after a 30 minute consultation with all the specific colors, size and etc. planned out. We picked up the sash the next day and once we got home we found the wrong thread colors, the school logo was off center, wording was not legible. Just terrible work. Mistakes happen. We contacted the store and had a long conversation about what was wrong and the employee said to bring it in from them to fix. I personally dropped the sash off to Sam's assistant the following day. Everything was prearranged prior, so no instructions were needed or given at the time of drop off. Almost a week after the first drop off, we came back for the 4th time. We examined the sash and found that they had only fixed one tiny letter!! The thread was still the wrong color, letters weren't actually letters just squiggly lines, just bad! We spoke to the Owner, Sam, yet again as to why they didn't repair the sash correctly. He began by telling us a story that simply didn't happen. Once that fell apart, Sam began to blame us for the mistakes that they had made. Now this is when Sam got really mad and began screaming like a child in the middle of his own store! The owner of a company does not behave this way. Normal people do not behave this way. Sam, you need to own up to your mistakes and fix the problem that you created. read more

Having used this company a few times, I want to be understanding of glitches that occur. But here's an advisory for you: "Guaranteed" doesn't include the idea that you will get exactly what you paid for at the time/date they say it will be ready. The problem is Sam will argue that getting most of the order right is good enough, and if there's a problem, correcting it isn't really his responsibility. Seems to me that if I didn't get the sizes or colors I specifically paid for, I didn't get my order. I got 54 out of 59 shirts, and the others just weren't printed at all with no mention that there were 5 missing items. When I insisted on getting my order, he claimed he had "made it right" by giving me 5 similar items so I would get 59 shirts. I disagree: "right" would have been to follow up with printing the correct colors and sizes. read more

Went to Sammi's Embroidery to get 5 polos with our Church organization logo. The work looks great and everyone the outcome. My only reservation was that they took longer than expected to turn around the final product. I think one of the reasons is because they are either short-staffed or just packed with orders from other happy customers. Just a tip so that you order well ahead of time. If you are looking for 1-2 day turnaround you may need to look elsewhere. As far as product selection, this is as good as it gets. Sammi himself showed me all of the options and never tried upselling me to a more expensive polo. Will be coming back soon to get more polos and shirts done for events. read more

I had a small order. All I wanted was a logo embroidered onto a shirt. I walked in and spoke to Sammy himself. I told him what I wanted. He said it would be $68 to set up the logo and that was a one time fee and then $10 to add it to my shirt. Seems a bit expensive but since I was looking to utilize him more going forward, I said okay. He took my logo and asked me to return the next day at 3:00 and he was have the logo done for my approval then it would take 5 minutes to apply to my shirt once I approved. Sounded great. I returned at 2:45 then next day. Sammy was not there. There was a lady there who I did not get her name. She was helping another customer and asked me to wait...which was totally fine. While waiting, another customer arrived as well. He too had dropped off a logo the day before and was told to arrive at 3. The lady was very nice and helpful but was constantly interrupted by the ringing phone which she answered promptly every time it rang...causing me to wait of course. Tip: Get someone else to answer the phone. Well, my example wasn't done. Nor was the person behind me. The lady said she was left a stack of logo to set up by Sammy for that day and she hadn't done them yet. She told me it would take about 15 minutes to set it up and have it ready for me to look at. (the other person's logo wasn't even close to being ready and she told him to come back later. He was upset because of the distance he had driven and the time taken out of his work day. I totally understand! He said he would have to come back another day) I expressed the need to hurry because I have to pick up kids from school. She said she would have it done quickly. So, my logo was done at about 3:30. It was totally wrong in so many ways...like they white areas were black and the blue areas were white. She said she would make the changes and do another one. During this time, Sammy arrived. He was helping other customers. The second "example" was also not correct. The colors were off and some of the stitches crossed into other areas. At this time, I had been there for over an hour and still was not close to having what they had told me I would have at 3:00. I had to leave to get my kids so I simply asked if I could have a refund. She directed me to Sammy. Well, he was not happy and started talking about "the process". Remember, I had already paid him close to $70 the day before for "the process" of setting it up. I told him again I was not satisfied and would like my money back. Fortunately there were other people there and he could tell I was going to be a pain. He actually asked for my receipt, lol. I told him I didn't have it but that he knows I paid him. He picked up my invoice off the table and in a very dramatic fashion ripped it into pieces. He then refunded my money. So, I do not recommend this place because of their high prices, poor customer services, lack of delivering what they say and over-dramatic acting. I know my little account means nothing to him. He has very large accounts and doesn't need me. I guess that may be part of the problem. I think I'll take my shirt to the guy at the mall. I'll be sure to post how that goes.... read more

Avoid this business!! Our church placed a small order of shirts in October. The total was $133.88, there was a mistake in our order so Sam said he would only charge us $60. Well, imagine our surprise when the credit card statement showed a charge of $733.88! When we called we were given many different stories. First, that he had accidentally hit a zero at the end. Then that the refund had been made. We are now filing a dispute with the credit card company. Sam was given the opportunity to make it right and he has not done that. As the $60 charge for the mistake was only a verbal agreement we have no recourse for that but the $600 overcharge is clearly supported by the invoice we do have. Finally received t-shirts three days late! I placed what should have been a simple, small order. The highlights of the fiasco are: - Friday: Placed an order for 12 shirts on the Friday before the due date, as instructed by the shop. Shirts would be ordered on Monday. Design proof would be emailed to me on Tuesday or Wednesday. Printing would take place the next day. Order to be picked-up on Friday. - Monday: No news is good news, right? - Tuesday: Three of 12 shirts arrive and the rest are coming from Reno and should arrive on Wednesday or Thursday. I learned this when I stopped by the shop to inquire about ordering another product. I was given a tour of the small screen print area. - Wednesday: Remaining shirts have not arrived. As of 4pm, I did not receive design proof. It was not "designed" until I asked why I had not receive it. A deadline was not given to the graphic designer. Shop sent it to me sometime after 6pm. They told me to email any changes. Also, deadline not placed on t-shirts for shop employees. - Thursday: Remaining shirts have not arrived. I was told that they would need to order "alternative" shirts. Finalized design proof. Owner (Sam) starts to get involved. - Friday: Shirts are ordered from another vendor. Shirt are printed and should be at shop at 5pm. At 5:30pm, still no shirts, but Sam says, "They are drying and are on their way. We want them to dry right." At 6:20pm, I leave with no shirts because the driver is "stuck in traffic." Customers are ready to pick-up shirts at 6:30pm. Sam calls at 7pm asking where to drop off shirts. Then he calls after 8pm to let me know there's another problem. I never received the shirts. Sam apologizes for all the errors and offers 15% off the order. - Saturday: More customers are ready to pick-up shirts. Sam calls to let me know shirts won't be done until Monday and will offer me 20% off. If he doesn't deliver the shirts by Monday, they are free on Tuesday. I'm ready to completely cancelled order if not done on Monday. - Sunday: (waiting) - Monday: No call from Sam, so I call. Shirts are drying right and will be ready in 20 minutes at 5:05pm. I arrive 10 minutes later to learn that the shirts have not been printed. Shop printed the design on the wrong shirts. They ask if I am okay with the design. I just wanted it done by this point. Shirts are FINALLY done at 6:15pm. Sam offers nearly 30% off and hopes that I will give them another chance. Sam cut me off multiple times when I attempted to expressed my dissatisfaction. Although he remedied the situation with discounts, his employees' mistakes and his disregard for my displeasure is inexcusable. I also had customers who were disappointed that their shirt was not available on-time. I will not be returning. read more

I placed a huge order for 80 employees back in October of 2021 which Sam told me would take 1-2 months tops. Almost one year later and I am still missing 34% of the order which is $23,000. Sam just continues to tell me one more week over and over again. I have heard every single excuse possible. He refuses to refund my money after confirming he would, but has plenty of time to tell me about the new Hummer he has on order or the vacations he continues to take. Completely unprofessional. I have been as understanding and patient as possible, but now having to have our attorney fight him to just get our money back. Beware as he is the absolute worst vendor I have ever worked with. Quality isn't great either for what it's worth as colors don't match, embroidery and fonts are different between items, and he's had to redo a lot due to his mistakes. Would NEVER recommend this place. On 10/18 I picked up an order for 12 screen printed t-shirts. The quality of the screen printing is very poor. The letters are not cut correctly and three of the t-shirts the logo was incorrect, one was the wrong size, and the last was the wrong color. My biggest complaint is that the invoice states $133.88 but my credit card was charged $733.88. Yep, over $600 more than the invoice. I have repeatedly called, left messages, and emailed Sammy for a refund but he has not called me back. This was first noticed on 11/28. Sammy seems to be ignoring my calls. In two different emails he has stated that the amount has been refunded back to my card. This has not happened either. Based on the quality and more importantly the lack of customer service and integrity of this business (there in none), I would advise you to stay away. read more

Retuned twice to try to pick up my order and finally had to sit in the store on their sofa and wait for my items to be done. It was a simple monogram order for my father I wanted done on handkerchiefs. I was told they could be done in as little as two days. This place seems very disorganized and while sitting in the store I overheard them telling other customers their orders would be done after four that day when they did not have their items done. Which I shrugged off as I only stepped in to help out the Public Affairs Officer who chose this company. I became livid with this business after they stole over $550 from me.The business charged me once when I orginally placed the order and instead of charging the difference when I made updates charged me a second time for the full order and additions. When I called I was given the story that they wanted to wait to I picked up shirts to credit back any money and was assured the credit would be processed that night. I waited several days and still no refund so I follwed up and again was told that the refund had been made. I am now filing a dispute with the credit card company. Sam was given the opportunity to make it right and he has not done that, he wont even provide me proof that the refund was made. Good thing my company records all phone conversations and I had the right mind to record our in person conversation regarding the refund. Sammi and his son have done some great work for me. I was a little skeptical about going at first because of the reviews, but they had some of the best prices in town and some of the best turnaround time. I have had no bad experiences with this business and I have dealt with them for about 3 months. They have been very patient with me and my orders and i have returned that favor. I think that the bad reviews come from some people's order being wrong or because the items that Sammi is ordering from vendors came in late. This has happened to me once when 1 item out of 12 didn't arrive, but i just waited. I'd take great service over part of my shipment being a couple days late. Can't speak on everyone's experience, but mine has definitely been good and my customers love the product. My only drawback is that some of the items i want are a little pricier than i wanted, so I reached out to different companies to keep my cost low so that I can provide my customer with great quality and low prices. I would recommend going here or at least stopping by to check out pricing, they usually do orders by 12 pieces so be aware of that. I was told on the phone that they could do a day turn around on embroidery. I was charged a lot for a product that I hand made and brought in because they did not have the sashes in stock. A font was agreed upon, the direction of the words was agreed upon, and I left my wears in what I thought to be capable hands. When I came to pick the work up, the font was wrong, the direction was wrong, the words were spelled wrong, and the size of the font was wrong. My handmade sashes were ruined. Though they did say I could bring back another batch of homemade product and they would reimburse me for the fabric and make them right, I have strong doubts about if it will come out better than expected read more

The service when you first walk in is amazingly slow. They need someone else to help answer the phone so that we can be helped as we walk in. I sat for 15 minutes before I was even noticed. The reason I am giving them 5 star is because of the quality and speed of receiving my order. I am basing this solely off of the finished product since this is what it's all about. I can't vouch for the negative experiences of those before me but my family has been using Sammy's for YEARS. My family business had all of our embroidery done here and my current company uses them as well. Always great with pricing, very easy to talk to, respectful of my time. I only had one instance where my order wasn't ready on time but they gave me a reason and it was done when the next day as they promised after the mix up. Try them out, they have a huge selection of name brand clothing to have embroidered.
