We first had the pleasure of trying Oakberry in Mexico City and were impressed at how consistent and attentive staff were to his dietary restrictions. I love that there's a location that is family friendly and close to one of MKE's best parks and playgrounds (Southshore). They come with the cutest reusable bags (small and large) and the juice flavors are yummy! I opted for the 3 day cleanse, it's around $100 for 21 juice bottles. You drink 7 a day and watch the magic work within your body. Comes with a cute handy paper to help you get started. It was pretty neat to see the juice machines behind the counter as well. The strawberries and granola on top were a nice touch, along with the drizzle of honey. I went with one other person and he had the PB Protein Smoothie which was fantastic as well! I wasn't sure how well pineapple would pair with peanut butter, but I was pleasantly surprised by it. Pineapple is such a nice addition to the traditional peanut butter and banana combo. My only gripe is the price point. $10 for a smoothie bowl and $8 for a smoothie seems a little steep. But then again, you're paying for healthy, yummy, high quality food. The gal who runs the shop is also so nice and efficient. I will definitely be returning to Karma Café!
