The pastry wasn't at all flaky or buttery but rather hard and biscuit-like. Maybe I went in with the wrong expectation of what an apple dumpling was but it wasn't what I had wanted exactly. Tonight I stopped and picked up a cinnamon roll to go. What more do I need to say? The cinnamon rolls from Cinnabon might be the greatest in existence. The perfect amount of cinnamon filling, frosting, and gooey insides make these irresistible. I don't know if both the Cinnabon part and the Auntie Anne's part have the same selection as their mall counterparts or if the selection is paired back due to sharing a storefront, but the cinnamon roll is all I need anyway.
