Feeling a little nostalgic, I decided to visit my old hood, and Big T Bazaar is still very much a staple. This is truly a one-stop shop but let's level set expectations first. Think flea market or swap meet vibes. Once you walk through the doors, you'll find the latest sneakers, jewelry, perfumes and oils, trending fashions, and recognizable brands. Also worth noting: none of it is real. Prices are more of a suggestion and are absolutely negotiable. You can get a haircut or braids while upgrading your car, then grab a plate of solid African cuisine on your way out. On this visit, my daughter had some grills made, and of course I had to get my pizza. Combo meal - Two slices and a canned drink. Still the same after all these years - piping hot, extra cheesy, greasy in the best way, and so good. The people and staff are incredibly friendly. Been hearing about this place for years but never got around to going until yesterday. I met a friend there and they showed me around. This is similar to a swap meet on the west coast. I was looking for a cute purse, 90% of the stores were all sneakers. Mainly all men's shoes, they didn't have any sizes for my 2 year old baby. The purses were all horrible knockoffs. All the clothes were fashion nova esque but way overpriced 40-50 for the most basic dresses and jeans, might as shop on SHEIN for the Same exact outfits! Everyone talks about the pizza being so good so I had to try it, that was a let down too it was nothing special, it may as well have been little ceasers, it wasn't a bad price though. Overall I wasn't impressed by anything here and I definitely won't be back, I wasted almost 40 minutes and my gas driving all the way over there. read more

Went to the tshirt shop to get customized tshirts for an upcoming event. Selected shirt design and shop could not do what they said. Have seen decent designs done but it seems they let a child decorate our shirts. Very disappointed as they barely accommodated us. Shop did not offer any refunds or discounted price while we payed in advance. Complete let down and left us with messed up shirts. Very rude and incompetent staff, would never go back. read more

I went to Big T to get my daughter shirts mad for the family for her birthday. So from the beginning I walked to the store no one acknowledged me and then I had a little kid take the order (couldn't find a blank piece of pap on top of the Clutter). I gave them the drawing I wanted. Fast forward they did a terrible job on the shirts and it was nothing like I wanted. The kid claims I never sent an email of what I wanted but of course I had proof. (Remind you I'm communicating with a child) So he does them again and they are wayyy better than the first batch but the glitter was terrible. I didn't know when they would be done, so of course I texted the kid. (Y'all the kid told me he got tired and wasn't working there anymore) like who do I text more and call. The custom t shirt place in this bazaar is horrible. He pressed my shirt wrong and told me afterwards sometimes the material mess up. Instead of telling me beforehand he did it anyway. It was supposed to be a cold peel and instead he peeled it off too soon which caused my shirt to be messed up. He made it seem like it was my fault and being rude stating "why did you come here?" I don't recommend him or his shop to anyone!! read more

I came to 'Big T Plaza' once before with a friend- and noticed that there was a NAIL SALON in the back. So, I decided to stop by today to get a pedicure- to try them out. The Nail Tech didn't know WHAT THE HELL was going on! She was extremely kind. :) But "kind" doesn't make the quality of work good. I asked for pink. And she told me to choose between the same color. SWEARING they were different colors (attached picture). She had to redo (paint) my toes 3 times. They still are NO WHERE where I've had them nicely done at other places. I'm a little upset that Laura beat me to this review... But, that just speaks to how much I love Big T. I haven't been in a while, but rest assured I will be back soon. Unfortunately, my style is not catered to by Big T when it comes to t-shirts. I get a little annoyed because the smallest sizes I can find in gold-foil Obama tees are XLs (if I'm lucky). I am stuck shopping at the sole shop with children's clothes, although often their prints/designs are more to my liking. Ladies, the jewelry selections are hard to beat. Gentlemen, there's something for you too in the way of accessories (belts, necklaces, etc.) And of course, let us not forget the shoes... I love shoes and am fairly picky, but I always see a pair or two I want and usually and bargain prices. read more

I normally don't make reviews especially about big t nails because I come and get my nails done here all the time but this time around I'm very pissed off and will never come back again. I can't think of the lady name but she works in the third chair on the back row close by the sink. The young girl.. Did me a white gel set and the next day for (MY BIRTHDAY) my nails turned brown. big t's is great! i went with a girlfriend of mine about 2 years ago have been addicted ever since! while most of the clothing in my size is wayyy more scandalous than i like the accessories are funky and oh so fresh! i typically browse the kids section too for a better fit and a little savings on hoddies. i have yet to find a place with so many selections of neat shoes(some totally hoochie-mama but in AWESOME colors)at such a resonable price! go there and bring back something you wont see any of your friends rocking. its not in the best part of town but the vast selection makes the trip totally worth it! read more

While shopping my gf and I decided to try The Jungle Burger w/in the shopping center. We ordered two combo meals..#1 The Jungle Burger and Gyro Combo. Both came with fries and a drink totaling $13.00. The burger consisted of two patties, lettuce, tomato, cheese, onion and mayo. The burger was hands down Great However the Gyro was another situation... I'm use to a Gyro being served pita, lamb meat, raw onions, tomato and sauce. That is how the picture displayed it. That isn't how it was presented to me at ALL There was lettuce, pickles and grilled onions on it. WHAT?!? Not good at all. I wouldn't recommend this meal to anyone. read more
