Wow. I disnt even know these existed! But man am I glad I found them! Super nice outdoor shopping. Has parking garages so no need to fight over street parking unless you just want to *shrug*. I was actually relieved to realize that the shade of the garage was worth it in this heat. Every store I entered was tidy and well-stocked and laid out. Not sure if I was just there at a low traffic time or what, but it wasn't excessively crowded. Since the world shutdown, I hate crowds more and more so I appreciated that I could move around with being bumped into constantly. I love this shopping area. It has a few stores that I like to shop at from time to time. Whole Foods, Nordstrom Rack and a huge Home Goods. They also have a few restaurants for a quick bite before after or during your shopping trip! I really appreciate this shopping center. From Old Navy sales to outlet stores like Sachs off 5th and Nordstrom Rack, it has something for everyone. The location was built just years ago and it still looks fairly new. The parking garages are easy to access and it's wonderful to just walk around and people watch on a gorgeous day. The shops at Park Lane are definitely very interesting as they are a big bulky big box mall (I said big twice oh wait that's 3), right across the street from the massive North Park Mall which is always very busy. This place isn't quite as busy but still has parking issues sometimes, and has a lot of major stores, and I suppose if you don't want to deal with the nightmare of North Park then there are some good stores over here for you. read more

The shops has a little something for everyone. I frequent most often Nordstrom Rack, Saks Off Fifth, Home Goods, Zoes, Ulta, Whole Foods.. There's just so many options.. being able to walk to these stores with no issues makes this little area a true paradise for me. It's obvious parking it tough here, but it gets less packed in comparison to Northpark across the street. Regardless, the very few roads that go in and out of the shopping center allows it to easily get congested unfortunately. Overall, I love this area. They always decorate in reflection of the season, maintenance keeps everything well manicured and security is always walking around which makes it feel pretty safe. The variety of stores geared toward both men and women I think is what really makes this area a hit, and I enjoy just walking around at night here because of the ambiance. The malls can be hectic and having these stores near by and in open air is live saving for this mama, My son doesn't feel suffocated in a car seat and loves to explore the stores with me. Sadly this shopping center has waged war against people in the apartments in their complex who have dogs. Living in the Heights apartments which boast features such as "fenced dog park" and "dog friendly community" you'd think you've found a lovely community to live in! That is until they tear down the dog park hastily unannounced, and give dog owners no communication about why or any resolution. For dogs, living in a condo requires they get to be off leash and stretch and go potty. The Shops at Park lane has given us zero option for This and now the kid's playground is covered in dog excrement as are the sidewalks. Security guards spend time yelling at tenants of the on site communities to put their dog on a leash, or remove them from some area dogs aren't allowed instead of patrolling the infinite amount of crime from the growing homeless community and auto theft and break ins. Get it together Park Lane and get your priorities straight. Why don't you take the money you spend on Instagram walls and put it on cleaning the dog park so dogs don't get sick and maintaining a healthy , happy and secure community. This looks really bad on you. read more

I LOVE shopping centers that are designed like this. They make my experience so much better and more comfortable. I used to love malls but now they're just a hassle to me, so this is perfect. I went looking for my evening birthday outfit and had planned on going to North Park when my coworker suggested here. I'm glad I listened. I appreciated the variety of the stores, its cleanliness, and directory maps to assist me because I was LOST. There's shopping and dining options available and I think that's extremely smart. Those individuals who can afford to live in those residences definitely have it good. I used to always come to work out of this specific starbucks - it's huge and the walls of windows overlooking a grassy area with fountains was really beautiful. I haven't been to another starbucks that's this huge with so much natural light and seating. I hope they make more like this. read more

I absolutely love the Shops at Park Lane! This is a great addition to the Preston Hollow area. They have all the best discount luxury department stores all in one place including Nordstrom Rack, Off 5th Avenue, HomeGoods just to name a few. They just recently opened a new section in the middle with a brand new Starbucks that's huge! It's a flagship Starbucks location that was desperately needed in this area. There wasn't a Starbucks really close except in North Park Mall and that was only convenient if you were shopping so I'm super excited that this location has opened. Also, another one of my favorites, Zoes Kitchen just opened right across from Starbucks in the same area. Again, there wasn't a close Zoes for some distance so this is so exciting. They have recently added more parking and even more new starts are coming. I noticed today there is going to be an outlet J Crew! They also have some great restaurants including Bar Louie & Gordon Biersch. I like being able to shop and then run to grab a bite to eat and it's something different then what is currently in the area. They have also recently added a grassy area with benches, water fountain right between Starbucks and Zoes so it will be a great place to take the kids to run around while mom is shopping. It's so beautiful and I'm so excited for the new additions and the new places that are still coming in. read more

From the original Gordon Biersch, Bloomingdales Outlet, and Old Navy, to the Starbucks, J Crew Mercantile and Crisp Salad Co. You can live, work, dine, and drink all in one location. This is a pretty decent shopping area. Businesses vary. I have mainly come to visit Whole Foods and Charming Charlie. I have met friends or coworkers for happy hours at a couple of chains-Gordon beirsch, park tavern (no longer in business), & Bar Louie. None of these are my faves. Parking is abundant since there are a couple garages to choose from so no complaints there. It's easy to access from 75 or Greenville. They have regular and discount children's and adult clothing stores, a dicks sporting good store, & home goods. There are more restaurants plus upscale bowling at Bowl & Barrel. If you need something from one of these type of stores and don't have to go to the mall, this is a good option. read more

The Shops at Park Lane is a not so hidden gem right across the way from NorthPark. I stumbled upon it a few summers ago and it was probably one of the best discoveries I've made in a while. There are quite a few retailers like Whole Foods, Home Goods, Old Navy, Bloomingdales, and Nordstrom Rack among others. In addition to retailers, there are many restaurants as well. Parking is not an issue at The Shops at Park Lane. There is a huge parking garage with multiple levels and it's completely free, no validation needed. A few parking spots are even available in front of certain shops and those come available on rare occasions, making the parking situation even sweeter depending on when you visit. Overall, I love this place and enjoy venturing out to see what good deals are to be had. read more

The Shops at Park Lane are a great alternative to the crowded, sometimes claustrophobic shopping found at major malls. A gorgeous, well maintained outdoor shopping experience offers major fashion anchors such as Nordstrom Rack, Saks Off 5th and Dick's Sporting Goods along with other, smaller fashion stores like Forever21 and Old Navy. The area is beautiful and its so much fun to park in one of their many available parking spaces, and walk around all afternoon shopping, eating and enjoying the day. One of the major features of this area is the Starbucks Coffee and the adjoining park where you can sit and enjoy your drink while admiring the view. The best thing about this location is it offers a great mix of food, shopping and entertainment. Don't forget to check out the bowling alley, or pick up a beer or two at the local tavern. I shop here all of the time. I mainly go for Home Goods and Whole Foods. There is plenty of parking, and it is very clean. It's a nice shopping area to wander around if you are wanting to avoid the mega malls. There is a large Old Navy, as well as a Nordstrom Rack, Bloomingdale's off 5th, Home Goods, Ulta, and Whole Foods to name a few stores. There is also a nail salon, sushi restaurant, and a Charming Charlie. The layout is a little strange, but there are escalators to help you get to the upper levels if needed. I also like the fact that you can park right outside of HomeGoods in case you make large purchases. read more

I always make it a point to hit up Whole Foods and usually end up spending some good time in there. I like this shopping area because there is ample parking. Fairly easy to get in and out. There's a nice mix of different types of stores and restaurants. AAA is conveniently located on top if you need any auto-related services. Grimaldi's has pretty consistent pizza. Whole Foods of course is great. We also like Dick's Sporting goods. It will be interesting to see what happens with parking once all the new apartments that are being built are finished. May have to revisit the rating at a later date. read more

Shopping without all the big mall hassle, that's how I would explain The Shops at Park Lane. They have most of the retailers I frequent, Lane Bryant, Old Navy, Nordsstrom Rack, Home Goods and Ulta. There is also a Bloomingdales, Whole Foods and Aveda Institute. One of the best things about The Shops is more than abundant parking. There are multiple garages with different levels so you do't have to spend your time driving around hunting for a parking space. There's easy access from 75 and if you just desire a mall Northpark is right across 75. I plan to make a trip to Aveda soon so I'll be back. read more

Located just pass the mall this outdoor shopping plaza is great ! Elevator and stair access to stores . You can park in a lot in front of old navy or on the side of the street in front of Nordstrom rack . The old navy is 2 story with children's and men on one floor it's a decent old navy but not my favorite . There's also a off saks and Bloomingdales and much more. Ample garage parking and a fair mix of mid to high-end stores, BUT a very frustrating, user-unfriendly experience. My first time there to pick-up an "in store hold" from one of the merchants. Store clerk provided a few landmarks to help find them, but didn't help as the place was out-of-sight around a corner. Couldn't spot a directory or "you are here" map in or near the parking garage; the occasional lamppost sign needlessly pointed to plainly visible shops. Numerous paper map "mailboxes" were empty; finally navigated to my destination with Google maps. You'd best research a visit to this "walk around outside" mall in advance; otherwise, wear very comfortable shoes. read more

I give the Shops at Park Lane a 4 star review because of the potential of the place it might be 3 and 1/2 at the moment but with two more restaurants being built currently and likelihood of more tenants coming as the economic recovery begins, I'm pretty sure this place will deserve a solid 4 star rating in not to long. The design of this space is very interesting. There is the "Plaza" area which his basically just a well done strip mall anchored by Whole Foods. There is covered parking below but other than that this area is a standard upscale strip shopping center. If you go down a light of stairs or an escalator you find the street level area which shows that the SAPL is a neo-urban development with schools such as the Arts Institute of Dallas and a cooking school as well as office space, shops, swanky looking apartments and a couple of places to eat. The are big box stores on the opposite side of the plaza that face North Park Center and the large garage area can be driven strait into from North Park. The shops in this area are interesting as they have large entrances both facing the street level and within the garage. You can get in and get out like a traditional strip mall or stop and explore at the street level. There are connecting bridges for both cars and pedestrians that take you over the street level between the plaza and the parking garages on the other side. There are fountains along the stairs to the street level and overall the place looks great. Current tenants include a brew pub and grill, a two story Old Navy, a Dick's Sporting Goods and several outlet stores from the swanky departments store anchors over at North Park. There is little to do at night here but when a tapas place and a new gastopub open on the plaza level with outdoor seating facing street level, that will be improved. There are still way too many vacancies but the area is new and everywhere in The D has too many openings as too much development plus recession equals more space than is needed. There is access from the DART Station at Park Lane but you have to walk a little ways on a busy and not to pedestrian friendly area to get to it but I have read DART is doing something about that. I also hate the fact there is no connectivity to North Park at all but by using the Trolley Bus that runs between North Park and Park Lane Station you can visit both at once without a car. This is a lovely area with great potential and another fine example of neo-urbanism in DFW. read more

Park Lane is a great place to take out-of-town guests. Super fun!!! The best place to workout is Studio6. The worst is Zyn22 a spin studio that has awful cheap bikes!! The instructors are bad, because the scream at you over the music screaming out "One Two One Two". The first and last class gave me a bad headache!!! :-(. Easy parking, parking in front of the Whole Foods as well as two separate parking garage areas. Parking is free so that's helpful, get turned around a bit because some parking is at street level and some is a bit higher... the Dallas area is pretty flat so it's kind of confusing. Lots of shops, good values, something for everybody to enjoy, definitely a cool place to check out when in the Dallas area... Also surrounded by tons of restaurants, bars, and other interesting things in the uptown area. read more
