Bradley is the man! I was in the market for an RD CM bed. They had new in stock and instead of upselling me, he mentioned they had a year older model and saved me a few bucks. He showed me tool box options and didn't play games when it came to an out the door quote. I went in on Monday afternoon and had my truck by Wednesday. I bought my 14' dump trailer here 7 years ago. The sales transaction went well and the selection was large. What I liked most is the trailer. It's well built and Texas tuff. I use my trailer almost daily in my (tree service) and it just keeps on going strong. Seven years of hauling and dumping trees is a true test and it works and looks almost new. Big Tex Trailers are built for Texans. This place is rollin down hill like a snowball headed for hell. I had a great experience purchasing the 14 foot 35ES from Big Tex trailer world. Christine and the guys went above and beyond. The trailer I wanted was in stock but not yet built. The guys put it together in about an hour. My vehicle has a weird location for the light plug and it required an extension which they had in stock and threw in at no charge. This is place from management to repair is sucks. I bought my 40ft trailer and it is not 40ft it is 35ft actual. Did not tell is 35 ft actual. Since I am new in business. I did not know. Service is suck it took 5 months to fix my trailer. Every time they say next week next week. Till got upset and my penitent. Spoke with Tom GM and Jeff Shop manager. Why is taking long. The sales person David called and took action to bring the part waiting for. Also did not weld it right, changed my axel without oil in it. I have a beam bent not replaced till today. I do not recommend to buy nothing or do business with them. I'm sure they know who we are. DO NOT BUY BIGTEX TRAILER NOT WORTH THE MONEY AND NOT STRONG. I have the proof. read more

I ordered a 14lx dump trailer here on February 10th from Patrick (one of the salesman there). He told me that I would get the trailer in 10 - 12 weeks. I ordered the trailer without the barn doors that they came standard with since I was undecided with what I was gonna do as far as doors for the rear of the trailer. I asked them if they'd give me a price break for not getting them. Patrick told me 'no'. I'm thinking, 'ok, whatever'. I didn't get the trailer til Friday May 20th (14 1/2 weeks later. They get a pass since I know the manufacturing can get behind and I can understand. Well, there looks like there should be 2 license plate lights but only one is there on the driver's side. Which I figured again, 'no big deal' but for $8500 and the extra 2 1/2 weeks, you'd figure they'd try to make sure everything is right. But, I got over it. Well, I met with my Welder on Monday the 23rd to go over options with what kind of gate to use. He tells me to get the barn doors and that they were the right choice from the get go. So, get ahold of Patrick the next day (Tuesday May 24th) and was like, "Is there anyway I can just go ahead and get those barn doors? Seeing that you guys never gave me a price break for it?" Patrick told me, "no" that it would cost me several hundred dollars. When all is said and done, I was gonna get charged another $700+ to get something that could have easily gotten with the trailer!!! I mean, I wasn't asking them to weld them on. I just wanted the hardware! I understand that there's freight and handling charges and I would've been ready to pay between $200 - $300 for all that. Do yourselves all a favor and go to PJ's next door since they would have only charged me $100 more for the same trailer and even preached better service. I will be giving them my business in the next 6mon - 1 year when i need another one and Big Tex can continue to stay shortsighted. Wish I would ready Jason's review of this place before I went in. 2nd bad review in a row and i'll bet more will be pouring in!!! Unreasonable and will try to squeeze you dry!!! read more

I'm in Washington but my 10SR is a Texas company, sorry Texas nothing against you, got plans to visit. But my dump trailer never worked right from day one, the time it did lift, my 60 year old ass had to push it up 3 feet while my wife did the control. only time it worked kinda. Had warranty work done, got it home and unloaded it again by hand. out of 5 yards of 5/8 gravel at 2600 LBS per, I shoveled every single rock. Most ever in trailer rated for 6660, was 5200LBS. I've owned this for 2 months and used it 3 days. Big Tex said I over loaded it, never came close, also had other Big Tex dealers look at same pictures, They said it wasn't overloaded but the hydraulics were wired backwards and it had a weak pump. ram buckled frame while the up button was actually lowering. Had frame and axle shop check it out, dangerous can't tow it cause it'll break in half and kill someone. 2 certified welders looked at it and said same thing. Funny the dealers said it was not my fault but Big Tex should be replacing it. But to Big Tex I'm suppose to just eat the $6500 I paid for this yard ornament and get lost. Homie don't play that game. Thinking of a Big Tex trailer, check everything on it Like a C.D.L pre-trip, frame, axles, welds (that's where this broke) EVERYTHING, then reconsider your purchase. read more
