This store is FAN-TAB-U-LOUS! I used to be a Starbucks fan, but never again. The bitterness of the coffee, their HIGH prices, the snotty staff and the high cost just wasn't worth it. They think they are untouchable. I stopped at Biggby on Telegraph and HOLY COW. I will never, ever, buy coffee anyplace else. They have a HUGE selection of lattes; the staff is so sweet, funny and always nice. Even when they are super busy, they never make you feel rushed. I like Violet and Kiah especially. I was shocked that after only my 3rd visit, Violet not only remembered my brother's name but what kind of latte he drinks (because it's the same boring one every time). Violet and Kiah have talked me into trying a few different lattes off the HUGE menu and now I am hooked. I've read some of the "poor" reviews....and I think these were more isolated incidents. Also remember that people feed off the emotions given them. So go in with a smile. I have gone early morning, and early afternoon and have NEVER, EVER had a bad experience. I really like coming to this Biggby. Most often I visit this location in Monroe within an hour of opening. I can't speak for the afternoon staff since I've never been during that time, but the two baristas I've encountered for the opening shift have been rockstars. I can't remember their names but one is a blonde lady with a bob cut who always has great makeup. The other is a brunette lady with fun hair styles. I really wanted an iced chai one day and Starbucks wasn't open until 7, and I don't really trust Dunkin' with anything but plain iced coffee. So I ended up at Biggby! The nice blonde opening lady was working by herself and I explained that I have never gotten a chai here but I'm craving one. I hate ordering chai and new places because you never know if you'll like it or not. She explained how she's the same way and that she likes the chair here. (I thought oh, typical right?) No, she was 100% honest with me and their chai is great! I've been back 3/5 working days to say the least. read more

Used to have the best coffee. Last two times my husband and I visited drinks were horrible with a weird aftertaste and chalky. Unable to drink and tossed both times. Refunded for one drink. Same employee made drinks on both occasions. Have not been back to this location. read more

I have to agree on most points with Billy the only other review at this time. I came to this Biggby... I remembered when there was a Biggby on Telegraph where the Flagstar bank now is and it used to be in front of the Lowe's. Back then they named it Beaners; I liked that location better. They had a fire place, sofas, games and it was homey. This location was very clean and the restrooms were clean however very barren, there were tables and chairs only. I was not comfortable here at all. They had a sad inventory of baked goods. I am used to ordering a scone at other Biggby (Dearborn and Ann Arbor) and all they had were these sad looking plastic wrapped muffins. We visited on 03/18/2015, which is Biggby' s birthday. We ordered 20 oz. drinks for $1.99. It was cool to not have to pay full price, since when my drink was finally coming down from the popping hotness, I tasted a subpar teddy bear :(. I will have to find a new place to squander my coffee funds; Biggby did not do itself justice. read more

I've always been a Biggby fan, and was quite happy to see that a new franchise opened in Monroe. The old one closed a few years back. Being as it's new, it's quite clean and comfy inside. I haven't had the need yet, but someday I might hang out there while I drink my coffee. Biggby is a bit on the expensive side compared to some shops, and the menu is pretty small for food and snacks, but it's always really good. I'm a fan of the mocha coffees, but I've not heard anyone complain about any of them. Recently I tried my first turkey Havarti bragel (I'm not sure why they call them bragels, but that's not a misspelling), and it was pretty good. The cheese ended up a bit chewy, but that is most likely because I let it cool too much before getting around to eating it. read more

The barista was very friendly, conversational, and obviously loves her job. She worked quickly and effectively by herself, without skipping a beat. I can't say I'll be visiting here often, as they're a bit of my normal path and they don't offer a drive-thru option, but I'm glad to see any new business opening in Monroe and I hope that they do well! read more

This place was cute. The girl working was friendly and efficient. She took care of a long line in a very timely manner by herself. I ordered the Caramel Marvel without any whipped cream. It was flavored good however way too milky for my taste. If I ever go back I will probably customize my coffee order more too my taste. read more

It's an adorable place with a thousand different beverage options and some snacks. The prices are about average for comparable places. The Baristas are all friendly and good at what they do. However I used to work there and the corporate and or franchise owners don't seem to operate very ethically with their employees. read more

Don't go to Biggby if you're in any type of hurry. The service is always extremely slow! Expect to wait at least 10 minutes and that's without any type of long line. The baristas are friendly but their small talk about nothing doesn't make up for the fact that I am now going to be late for work. I stopped in there on a Sunday before noon the last time and had to walk out. There was only ONE girl working and the line was to the door. I stood there for 5 minutes and the same 2 people were still waiting for their drink at the pick up counter so I left as I had somewhere to be. During the week my time is even more limited and they never seem to be in a hurry to get people in and out. The coffee drinks are good but also on the pricey side. There aren't many options for coffee in Monroe so it's nice to have something different than Tim Horton's once in a while, but to me the wait and price aren't worth it unless I have nothing better going on. read more

Most times when I stop in I am on limited time and waiting for almost 10 min to even order was crazy! She handled herself well and was still very friendly! I had a horrible time with this place today! 9/18/15 Today I left my house early just so i could stop at Biggby! I live a half hour away from my job. So I left early and stopped there. First off there is people sitting around with no drinks. Second there is only one person running the whole store. So i give my order after standing in line for 5 minutes. Then i sit there and wait for at least 25 minutes until my coffee was done. And I waited an extra 5 for my everything bagel! I was 25 minutes late to work. Luckily my boss is understanding but in some cases i would had gotten a write up. Then i get into my car after getting my coffee and bagel and im driving and i finally drink my hot pumpkin spice latte and it taste nothing but like a pile of dirt it was so disgusting! I'm not happy over the fact of my experience or my products i received. Plus being in the food industry my self this is not a good example of a good functioning facility. I will say I am no longer a Biggby person. read more
