They were well above average and worth the cost. The service was friendly and helpful. They had plenty of parking and it was easy to get in and out to major roads. Prices are very resonable and in this economy that is appreciated. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I had my first match here. At the time it was a special, banana pudding matcha. It was so delicious. After that I was hooked. My order was always a banana pudding matcha with oat milk, and strawberry syrup. That was one of the best drinks I have ever had. The banana with the matcha, with the strawberry was just an absolute delight and hard to not drink all at once. Now the special is blueberry cheesecake, and it is also a wonderful drink. It was about 10ish AM when I arrived, and as I had expected, if this place had good offerings, most everything would be gone - I was correct, most everything was already sold out. Bad luck for me, but a good indicator Monica's may be a good one. A very small establishment with no indoor seating. The person who helped me make my choices had a couple great recommendations - the blueberry donut and apple fitter. Both were very good. A very airy texture as the fritter was almost like a soft bread or dinner role - very well done. The blueberry donut was also very tasty. Not al all like many other "fruit" flavored donuts, you definitely could taste blueberry in every bite. Also 2-thumbs up! Donut sizes were larger than most, and did not have dense consistency. One of the best decisions we have made since we have went 4 times overall and they have jot failed us once. We share the fratalian sub and their version of the margarita pizza they have a nice pesto on there's is it traditional Neapolitan no but it's not supposed to be. We pick it up and we eat it in our car down by the raisin river. It's no big deal for us eating in our car since we do this often sharing meals and avoiding eating in and having to leave a tip. Because this place does not offer indoor eating. One review said it was dirty inside I think if we all walked back into any kitchen at many restaurants we would find the same thing. But they clean up at the end of the day not during this did not bother us a bit. We will be back sooner then later

They took out some regular check out lanes ( which was never in use). And of course, added self service check out lanes. They even have sushi now. Never did when I lived in Monroe. But many of the same faces on the staff and same service is I was use to having the 15 years I lived here. Will stop monthly when I come down to have thoses white roots covered.
