I had cheeseburgers on my mind, found Grand Dad's on Yelp and went after work. I had the Dole Whip…read moredrink special and it was so delicious I could've finished it in 3 sips if I didn't control myself! The double smash burger hit the spot for being beefy and cheesy, nice soft bun with onion, lettuce and tomato(?). Side of Mayo came with it, other condiments in a basket with utensils. It was a little messy but that's what made it delicious. I tried the garlic dill fries and they were thinner cut, hot, crispy and while seasoned well- which for some may be a little too salty. I would get them plain next time- I will definitely be back as I enjoyed the meal so much. They have seats at the bar, tables inside and a good sized covered outdoor patio. Darker ambiance inside with lighting from neon lights and 3 big TV screens above the bar, though some evening natural light added in. Service was great, since I sat at that bar where the drinks were being made. Staff were busy taking care of food and drink orders but attentive to customers at all the right times: greeting new ones at the bar, they took my order promptly, food came out in decent amount of time for dinner/ Happy Hour crowd. Prices were reasonable for the quality and portion of food I enjoyed. Clean inside and good communication between staff making sure everything was going smoothly. There's limited parking on the street outside but a large lot a short distance away, accessible to those with mobility concerns. Patio could seat about 15 and inside seat 30(?) including barstools, plus standing room for busier times. I highly recommend this spot for food, drinks and a good time.

They were both really good but nothing too special but for the price it is definitely worth it cause for me and my wife to eat and have drinks was under $40. I didn't know you could still go out to eat for that price.

Pretty excited to have a new coney island in the neighborhood and not having to travel far. I've…read morestopped in four times for carry-outs since they opened and have not been disappointed. Two times I ordered a BLT and french fries. I'm super picky about fries...I ordered them well done both times and they were PERFECTION. I have no idea what type of oil they fry them in, but they were tasty, crisp, and hot...just how I like them. And the order was huge! The BLT had crispy bacon as ordered and a lot of it, plus the usual tomato and lettuce. The only thing lacking was a side pickle, but I will ask for one next time and make the suggestion. Another order was a ham and American cheese omelet for breakfast. The ham was in chunks! I kid you not. Flavorful and good...but IMO it overtook the cheese part of the omelet. It needs another slice of cheese to make the omelet perfect. Hashbrowns were crisp, hot, and good. Toast is toast. Lastly, I tried a chef salad. It was huge and heavy! Totally large enough for two meals! Big full strips of ham and turkey - I cut them in half to save for a second meal. Tons of cheese, lettuce and tomato, and the hard boiled egg was perfect, as in no green to be seen! Dressing on the side, and I added croutons at home. This is exactly how I like my salad! The menu itself is large and varied - pretty much anything you want is on there. (Looking at YOU, meat loaf...) There is also a display case with desserts that looks very tempting... I will have to check that out next time. I think the prices are fair. The restaurant is clean and cozy; the service is really good, friendly, and fast. The location is great too - I-75 and Sibley Rd, just off the exit past Racho Rd., so if you are a traveler its an easy place to stop in to eat, then jump right back on the freeway. I'm giving this place 5 stars. The effort is there. I think you will love this place!

We each just ordered a breakfast, his with sausage, mine with bacon and a half order of biscuits and gravy. Our breakfast was so good. The potatoes were cooked perfectly, as was the meats and eggs. Even the toast was piping hot. The biscuits and gravy were just ok. I feel like it was canned sausage gravy, but I've had way worse. The service was great, very friendly and we felt to be in good hands. We will definitely be back. The pricing was very fair as well!
