I went here twice, between my friend and I we tried: iced mocha nut latte, orange cream freeze, iced horchata latte with oat milk, and a mint mocha freeze. Everything was delicious. I left my phone charger here and the employees were very sweet when I called and asked about it. They set it aside with a note so I could come pick it up the next day lol. I live nearby and Biggby is the only place worth getting the big fancy latte coffee drinks. They have excellent coupons they send out and excellent employees. Every time I bring my dog, she gets a dog treat. The frozen lattes actually taste like coffee unlike the garbage served at places like tim hortons and starbucks. Today i noticed a rebranding on the cups... I like the changes to the actual cups, but for some reason I didn't get an orange straw this time. I agree with all the great reviews. Not only is the coffee great (literally, never bitter, just like their slogan) and smooth, but there are tons of varieties to mix it up with. But what separates this location from the others is the staff. The manager is great, and the baristas like Debbie are simply wonderful. We only come in here maybe twice a month using coupons, and they know us by name and are always smiling. Only once has a drink been wrong (caffeine instead of decaf), and they immediately remade the order even though they were busy and let us keep the caffeine one for later as an apology. What a wonderful place. I'm not a fan of paying $5 for a coffee, but this place is such a treat for us to go -- they almost make you feel like family. read more

This is my favorite Biggby! This place makes all other places you can get coffee inferior. The coffee is always good. I've never had a problem with my order. The best part of this place is THE STAFF! I love that this location has a drive thru! I tend to stop by this location before I head to my studio to teach. I'm always in and out with a quickness and treated with a polite manner. The coffee shop is always tidy and smelling like the daily brew. While I don't have a favorite specialty drink, I very much enjoy that they always have at least 5 different roasts available at all times. Biggby also has a loyalty card. I'm not EXACTLY positive, but I believe this card entitles you to one free drink after you purchase 12. Totally worth it! read more

I am a Starbucks Girl by nature, however, I had recently been in need of a coffee shop in South Lyon to pass the time while my son was at summer camp. After trying a local mom and pop establishment and being disappointed by the lack of customer service, I decided to give Biggby a try. I am so glad I did. As the other reviewers have mentioned, the staff is very friendly they are also very quick at completing orders, which is not a strong suit of Starbucks. The inside of the coffee shop is perfect for studying, working, chatting or just sipping coffee. I really enjoy my time there. It will be my South Lyon coffee place from now on! read more

This is one of my favorite businesses around, seriously. I haven't worked in South Lyon for a couple of years now, but I always remember how great it was to come here and how I wish more places could be like this location. I would always use the drive-thru and I would always get a medium coffee of the day (Michigan Cherry was my favorite) with a pump of chocolate in it. After a couple of visits they knew my car or my voice, I don't know but they knew what I wanted! It felt like Cheers, I swear. I love Biggby coffee, it's my favorite! This location is, by far, the friendliest. The manager here is soooo nice. Even if I haven't been there in a month he treats me as if he sees me every day. The coffee is not bitter like some of the larger chains, and the amounts of latte flavors is almost overwhelming (but not quite!). Best Biggby ever. The owner is amazingly friendly and always remembers our orders (even on drive thru!) even though we probably only come in once a week. I love how 99% of the staff is so friendly and bubbly. There seems to be one shift manager who is a little dour, but other than that it's damn near perfect. Been there the last two days, both times the staff was rude and they were out of coffee and stirrers. The staff did not give me a cup for my coffee, and they ignore you so I reached across their display and got my own. Then they were out of stirrers and asked me to fill it up for them. So the coffee and food are great. They are exactly what you expect to get from a Biggby... The reason for 2 stars is the drive though is so unbelievably slow! Today I waited nearly 15 in the drive through and there were only 2 cars ahead of me.. That is 5 minutes per car! Sorry but I'd rather drive to New Hudson to Starbucks with that time instead of sit in line that long... If it was faster I'd rate 5 stars! read more
