    Buddha bowl with chicken- delicious
    Aileen B.

We opted to sit outside because the air conditioning was cranked up to an uncomfortably cold level. Patio seating is nice, but some seating is in full sun even with the umbrellas open, depending on the time of day. Service was almost non-existent after we were seated, even after complaining, but aside from that, we had a decent meal and everyone enjoyed their beverages. They have an outstanding beer selection, as well as some choice cocktails and mocktails, but only one non-alcoholic beer. Add far as food goes, I highly recommend the Buddha bowl. I added chicken this time, which was dried out but still had good flavor. The grilled chicken salad was good, but had the same dry chicken that was in the Buddha bowl. The mac and cheese was decent after adding a considerable amount of salt, though it also was quite dry. My husband ordered chicken and waffles and said the chicken was good but the waffle should have been better--it was dry and had too much cinnamon. The burgers and fries were given thumbs up. It was disappointing that the mushroom burger and grilled chicken salad both came with onions, when they were ordered without due to an allergy. I would like to give four stars, but just can't, all things considered.

Good beer & chicken strips. Service was non attentive.

Good beer. Chicken strips & fries were good. Service was non-attentive. Not bad. This place is usually spot on.

Nice visit to Witch's Hat Brewing in South Lyon! Ambiance is warm and inviting right off the bat. Love all the glass mug art (looks like they have a TON of people in their mug club), and the clear community engagement and support with info on the walls about various fundraisers. One warning about going on a Sunday - they may be low or out on a lot of items from the weekend. I was not able to get my first choice beer or first or second choice meal haha. I'll have to come back! Wanted to try the That Woman Lavender IPA. Since that was out, I got their popular Train Hopper IPA and was happy with this! Solid beer. Wanted to try the Beef Birria Elote Bowl or an item from their specials, this goat cheese pesto tomato jam sandwich that sounded phenomenal. Since both were out, I ended up panic ordering the Boujee Burger on the spot :). It was good! I think I'd enjoy others of their smash burgers even better. My husband loved his. Fries are heavily fried (double fried? triple?) with a still soft potato-y interior.

Beer menu- I have not had a beer I didn't like from here. Especially love the seasonal brews.

The food at this place has never missed. They have a great selection and everything is well made. The servers are attentive and helpful. The inside is super cute and the patio is small but very nice.

A great place to grab a drink with friends, a nice meal with family, or have a large gathering. The food was delicious, servers were beyond friendly, and the vibes of the place were awesome. A great place to go to in South Lyon. I can't wait to go back!

Hostess was slow I think she was new. There was rush and I think she was overwhelmed but she stayed friendly the whole time. Waiter is really friendly. We had the fried pickle chips with spicy horseradish and sun dried tomato sauce. The sauce was great and the flavors mixed well together. The pickles were ok. The breading didn't stick well and it was a small order. I got a flight with five beers. Hard cherry cider- the cider is not overpowering. The cherry flavor is good, light fizz. Good blend of flavors. Thrash punk coffee kolsch- this a blonde coffee beer. My husband loves its. Strawberry rhubarb- this is made very well! The flavors balance each other. If you're not a fan of rhubarb you may not like it. The kipper- wee scotch heavy- sweet and malty 4/5. Squib kick- Munich dunkel- malty flavorful. Sweet Lou coffee stout- 4.5 stars. Great coffee beer. Sweet potatoes- really liked. The chicken tenders chunky pieces of meat they were ok not great. The bbq sauce was ok it was a sweet sauce. Carne asada steak mac- it was made with capavatti noodles. The steak was very juicy and tender. The Mac wasn't super hot but it was good and I would order again.

Came up here on Saturday at noon to meet up with an old buddy. This is his go to spot for drinks, so had to give the place a try. One thing I liked was the fact that they will let you sample the beer - which I did because I wasn't sure which one to get... after trying four different samples, went with OWLS. I didn't even ask if I could sample them, the server asked if I wanted to sample them to see if I liked them or not before I ordered! Friendly and helpful staff from front of the house to the back. I'm giving four stars because of friendly staff members. The bar is located in the back with main seating area, loved that we got seated right away, so that was nice. As for the foods goes - it's ok, not the greatest food, but not bad either. Had the Carne Asada fries to start out with, then ordered the fish and chips. I loved the fries, as it's freshly made as I'm told. I was disappointed with the Carne Asada fries, as I was expecting strips of sliced beef, but it was topped with ground beef. The fish and chips was decent as well, was NOT a fan of the pickle aioli, everyday tartar sauce would been perfect! Definitely place to visit to try their beer offering, the food is decent, but come for the beers :)

We stopped in here for a late lunch and had a really nice meal! I came here with my friend who is a local and literally lives walking distance from here. She is not as adventurous an eater as I am, but I successfully convinced her to give it a try. We were able to get seated inside right away. They have a really cool atmosphere inside, and some awesome indoor/outdoor seating for whatever the weather dictates or whatever you're feeling. I loved the tables inside with the bottle-cap tops. Even though we got seated right away though, the service was extremely slow. Our lunch dragged on a lot longer than we had hoped it would. Not sure if they were understaffed, and I understand if that's the case. But this is just something to consider, maybe plan on staying a little longer than anticipated. I got the Mexican prime rib sandwich. I liked the taste of it a lot, I just thought they were a little skimpy on the meat. My coworker got the strawberry spinach salad that was on special. She was delighted with this. I think she'll be back, and I'd definitely love to come back next time I'm in the area!

Saturday afternoon visit. Had been here once before and wasn't impressed and decided to try again. Still not impressed. What we liked: * Good variety of beers. *Immediate seating. * Hostess was great, good interaction. * Waitress was beyond friendly- Disney friendly and helpful. What could be better: * Chicken strips were ok however came with fries that were room temperature at best. * The tacos were beyond disappointing- 4 little tacos with a basic beef broth. For the price they were underwhelming. * Their amber beer just wasn't good, I realize beer is incredibly subjective. Ambers are my go to and this was just to hoppy for an amber. Overall two visits and we want to like the place. However the food has not delivered.

My work hosted a charity dinner here and whoever picked this place did a great job. First of all, if you have sour beers you're already at huge advantage to winning me over. The blueberry lemonade gose goes incredible hard. Just one of my all time favorite beers (I bought some to go). The Nashville chicken sandwich was incredible. Everyone loved their food, and it's just a nice place. I can't wait to come back.
