Dirty and Chocolate Croissant
Vikash K.

Great coffee shop here in canton. Really enjoy their dirty cold brew and chocolate croissant here . There's always something new to try here from there hot, cold or blended drinks plus big selections of pastries and cakes. Staff is always friendly and giving good recommendations on anything that's new or seasonal. Lots of seating for doing work or catching up. Very clean!

Nice and quiet place until the kids get out of school for the day. Reliable mochas and coffees and their mixed iced dragons are good along with all the variant teas.

WOW. I wasn't sure what to expect when signing myself on for a Yelp event that was probably about 45 minutes away thanks to the chaos of construction, but as a mom to 2 toddlers, I figured it had to be worth it for a nap time run. I had no idea how right I'd be! This place is tucked into the best combo of things in this plaza-sushi, Thai, Chinese, Dairy Queen, AND this gem?! You can't go wrong! On top of that, this interior is so perfectly cozy for a prolonged hang, and the team there are SO kind and helpful, Sweetwaters alone is good enough reason to come to the area. I had never been to a location previously, and said as much to the team and each and every one of them gave me awesome ideas and helped in narrowing down the incredible menu. I ended up going with a pistachio cold brew, and they told me exactly what they'd add to it before doing so, ensuring I was okay with the typical half and half they add (which of course was a YES). And this cold brew was the best thing I've ever had. I'm biased as I do love pistachio anything, but I'm officially obsessed. I also got the Parmesan leek croissant, as that's something else I'd never had elsewhere and it was phenomenal. Tastes almost like spinach artichoke dip, and the inside was so creamy and delicious I was sad to offer a bite to my toddler and for once them to say yes, AND want more. Overall, 10/10 for me on this location and the menu. I can't wait to be back. I loved it so much I told my SIL she needed to apply! Thanks for such an awesome location!

Right after some cycling around the area. The cuz and I decided to go for a little post exercise treat. Which brings us to this place. I ordered the Strawberry Fizz with the bubbles since we were in the mood for some boba tea. My drink was definitely a hit since it leans more over to the sweeter side. I definitely enjoyed the bits of fruit and the boba. I would totally order that drink again. My cousin had the matcha which was the exact opposite. There wasn't enough sweetness to it. It was actually not very good. Anyways, the place is great. From what I saw when I came in, the employees were all properly wearing face masks. Thank you so much for keeping us safe. Therefore I would not hesitate to come back and spend money here again. Thank you so much for reading my review. I hope this helps with your decision making experience. Enjoy your awesome yelptastic day!!!

I'm a fan of Sweetwaters and glad to see one outside of Ann Arbor! This one was really bright and clean on the inside. We visited it pre-covid shut down, and one of the last places we went to before places started having restrictions. Nice place to sit down for coffee and just hang out for a bit of time.

Peach Cobbler Factory has been in business for about a year now in this western suburban Detroit strip mall where parking is never an issue. The inside of the suite was bright and spacious, however there were no seats or tables. Maybe they used to have some stools and high-tops in the past? A faux green wall was on the right, but it seemed out of sorts when nearly all places with such a social media friendly feature also have seating. There were over a dozen cobbler flavors, and each order included ice cream. The surprise was the variety of other desserts that were available. Cinnamon rolls, cookies, banana pudding, pudding shakes, brownies, Belgian waffles, and churro stix were offered. Some of these items were on display in plastic cases at the service counter. By using such a specific business name, it undersold the diversity of sweet treats that you could purchase here. A Mango Peach Cobbler was what I decided to buy. Because everything was packaged to go, the cobbler was served in one takeout container while the cinnamon vanilla ice cream was scooped into its own styrofoam cup. A cobbler is a fruit filling poured into a large baking dish that is covered with a batter/crust before being baked in an oven. It's essentially like a deep dish pie. I didn't detect much mango flavor, but the peaches were very sweet. I wished the cobbler portion size was larger for the $9 price. The ice cream was a nice touch if you wanted to eat the cobbler a la mode.

It didn't become a big melted mess, so it was nice that they're kept separate. Unfortunately, though, the ice cream itself wasn't great. My husband didn't mind it, and we both enjoyed the cinnamon in it, but to me it was watery and just not something I'd eat again. The cinnamon roll was really bad. It was extremely dry and lacked flavor. The only thing that made me take more bites was the Nutella on top. The employee who took our order was kind, and the store was clean and bright. But I would not come back here.

I visited during the Plymouth Ice Festival and simply had to try a hot chocolate from Alpine…read moreChocolat Haus when I saw that they had dark hot chocolate. Some of the best hot chocolates I've ever had are from chocolate shops (makes sense) so I had high hopes. The price was quite reasonable I think for a premium hot chocolate, $4.99 for a dark hot chocolate with Mayan spice (cinnamon, cayenne, etc.) added. There was an option to add whipped cream and marshmallows but I opted out. The cocoa was excellent - delightfully chocolatey and definitely spicy - it definitely had a kick. I would order again in a heartbeat - maybe it's a good thing for my body that I don't live that close to Plymouth. They also have a nice array of chocolates, very similar to classic chocolate shops. I bought a couple of dark chocolate covered cherries and dark chocolate honeycomb chips for my mother and she loved them and she can normally be very picky about these type of chocolates. She said they were very fresh and the cherry flavor of the chocolate covered cherries was excellent. These were probably her favorite chocolates she's had in the last ten years or so. Alpine Chocolate Haus was definitely a winner and we'll be back whenever we're in Plymouth.

Alpine Chocolat Haus, stay for the serenity, leave because you can't find anything to enjoy…read more I'm genuinely shocked they are still open, and yet, glad for it, as ACH is a welcome respite in a downtown that can be boisterous at times. If you are looking to a quiet place to gab with your gal pals, this is the place! There was only ONE food item I tried that was worth consuming, except you can't really take it with you - the hot fudge on the ice cream! Please sell this in jars, the taste rivals Sanders! But, everything else I tried? Barely edible. Sampled 4 ice cream flavors , just because I was trying to find one that was palatable, settled on vanilla because I felt bad sampling more flavors...the ice cream is very poor quality. Being a Michigan company, I am surprised that they don't have Guernsey ice cream? That would be a welcome improvement for sure! Purchased 3-4 chocolates to go, I think one with cherries, another with maple, maybe a coconut, and a Buckeye. Let me preface this with the fact I love chocolate...after one bite of each, I threw them away. And the Buckeye was so revolting I automatically spit it out...what kind of peanut butter tastes like that?! I wish you were better, Alpine Chocolate Haus. :(

I wasn't sure what to get because I don't like heavy spice but they made my dish with a low amount. I chose the Achari Chicken kebab and the Amore Chai Latte. The kebab was delicious - shredded chicken, pickles, and sauce. It was wrapped in a puff pastry type bread. The texture and taste was really good. The chai latte was piping hot - very smooth and heavy vanilla taste. I wish there were a location closer to me as I'd visit more often. If you are in the area, check them out!

The place has coffees and lattes, as well as a variety of desserts. The main draw, as you might imagine, is the Chai. My wife and I ended up splitting the BonBon Chai (caramel flavored), though the tiramisu and amore were a close 2nd and third. They also have flat breads and wraps, though we didn't try any as we had just finished dinner. The staff was super friendly, and there was ample seating. It looks like they also had outdoor seating, though not something we were going to do in January.
