This place is run by incompetent people who know nothing about customer service nor hospitality. My…read morebeloved pup had been going here since she was 16 weeks old and then got cut off with no warning or proof. They stated she's "overstimulated" and involved in too many "scuffles" so she needs to be terminated from daycare... which is funny because every time I picked her up, NO ONE informed me of such things. It was mentioned that she was overstimulated ONCE after a 3 week daycare break she encountered- which mind you.. she was out due to catching kennel cough from this lovely place. So yes, of course she will be overstimulated when she returns. Once she was re-acclimated (within 1 to 2 visits back)... nothing about being overstimulated or being involved in scuffles was EVER mentioned to me after that. So please tell me, if my dog is so awful, why is she the one coming home with a bloody, split ear (which mind you, the staff told me was nothing... but the $170 vet bill said otherwise). And why would she would come home with cuts all over her legs and body if she's the problem!? See pictures below for visuals. All I can say is, my dog and I were clearly discriminated against which is why I have no problem taking my business elsewhere. Anyone who knows Leila, knows she is a sweet and loving mutt.. so this discriminatory establishment can take their BS reports, and lose a very valuable customer. Ever since new management took over and Tasha became the front end manager, this place has been nothing but a HEADACHE/ zoo. These so called "coaches" are undertrained high school kids/ kids in their early 20s who cannot manage a dog daycare room for the life of them. I am actually happy my dog got "expelled" because I have been wanting to leave for so long that this incident was the push I needed to be done with them. If you care about your dog, want them to be watched by competent people, and expect to get real answers from staff when you ask questions about your pets wellbeing... DO NOT GO HERE!! Look elsewhere!

Their answer was "He just pooped, and we are not groomers for this breed, therefore we did not clean him. Can you imagine if he had to have such a dirty butt for a week? disgraceful. This facility is also under new ownership/management and they are a complete disaster, staff not knowing what they are doing, giving different answers to our questions about drop off times, what's needed to have your dog board there, and not answering their phones. We have boarded our puli when it was under previous ownership and had no problems. We paid over $500 to receive horrible care for our beloved pet. NEVER AGAIN..... DO not USE them. They are not professional and they don't know what they are doing!!!

I retained…read moresomeone who lived very close to me and had great reviews, but after a few sessions I realized our schedules were not compatible; I was not getting consistency and reliability from her. It's important for me to make progress with my dog, so I Googled alternate options and stumbled upon Alex's page. I called him on a Friday and he picked up the phone right away. We spoke for a while about my needs and he came out the following Tuesday for what was supposed to be a 2-hour visit. I fell in love with him immediately, he is not only so personable and likable on his own, but he really takes the time to LISTEN to what you need and work on those things right away. I had mentioned my priorities to my previous trainer, but I found that she was teaching my dog commands that didn't actually accomplish what I was after. In our first meeting, Alex worked on SO MANY of my priorities. He got my dog to go into her crate on command, taught her to "stay," showed me how to "walk with" my dog better on her leash, and (using a 30' leash outdoors) started working on recall with her. We were so immersed in what was going on that Alex started to go a little bit over our time, but he didn't want to stop because we were making such great progress. I told him if he wanted to give me a third hour right then and there that I was prepared to pay for it, and he did!! I learned a lot of things from Alex myself during our first meeting, like how to employ the use of "deltas" (which my old trainer never once mentioned) and how non-verbal cues are arguably more important than verbal ones. Again, my old trainer actually discouraged me from using hand motions, but once incorporating them into my routine I noticed that my dog was much more compliant than she had been. Another positive difference between my old trainer and Alex is he really takes the time to teach you why he's doing what he's doing, and encourages you to participate. My old trainer just taught my dog a command and had me replicate/practice when she left. Alex really makes you feel like you are a part of the teaching process. After our private session Alex recommended some "Small Group Therapy" for my pup. He came at noon on a Thursday to pick up my dog and she proceeded to go on a several-hour outing with his two chihuahuas and a dog he was fostering. The entire time he was out with her he was recording and sharing videos on an iCloud album. It was INCREDIBLE to not only see everything that was happening, but to hear him narrate why he was doing the things he was doing. I could not get enough of his videos and felt like I was there during the session. On top of Alex's excellent communication, punctuality, reliability, friendliness, competency, and effectiveness, his rates are OUTRAGEOUS in the BEST way! I truly believe he is under-charging for his services. I can get three hours with Alex for less than I paid for one hour with my prior trainer, and I feel much better about the work that is done during that timeframe. I adore Alex, and most importantly, what he is doing works. He really gets into the mind of your dog, and has such a wonderful way of connecting with them and their needs. I am elated to keep our work going - my pup has lots more Small Group Therapy outings in her future and it's wonderful that I have the option to use him one-on-one to teach her even more commands in the house. One day I hope to move on from essential commands to more fun ones, like "roll over" or "go get X toy."

If our Ketsia (Sisi) didn't love us so much, I think she'd hop on over to Alex's place :) She's strong-willed & protective but sooo loving & sweet. We're making great progress! Thank you, Alex.

We took the 6 class behavior training 1 for puppies ( our dog was 5 months old when we started) and when we finished we got an email asking us to repeat the class. Two classes after we got another email asking us not to come back. They also suggested that there was something wrong psychologically with our dog and asked us to look into medicating him. At that time we were devastated with the news and we were really concerned with the situation we were in. We thought our dog was a lost cause and felt hopeless. That was a few months ago, we since started training with a new trainer and our dog is amazing. We made more progress in two classes with a trainer that had experience with the breed than in all the months we had at the DTCCC. We had to work really hard to get him to "un learn" the bad habits he had picked up at the Dog Training Center of Chester county. We never had to medicate him, and there's nothing wrong with our dog. Before signing up with them I had e-mailed them asking if they had any experience with the breed and they said that they had. I sincerely doubt that after seeing the way they dealt with my dog. There are some other reviews that say that they're not good trainers for working breeds and I agree with that. If you have sociable breeds that are easy to train I'm sure that the DTCCC will do a fine job, but if you have a working breed that needs a strong hand and firm leadership you'll do better looking for it somewhere else. With all of that said I want to make a note that our trainer, Scott, was amazing. He was extremely helpful and never made us feel un-welcomed. We could tell that he was making an honest effort to train our dog within the limitations of the class. After we got kicked out he continued to reach out to us and offered help. We never got a refund for the classes that we didn't take after they kicked us out.

That means I get a break too. As my pal Cesare says, a tired dog is a good dog. And a 6 month old lab needs a lot of exercise. Odie came back from other places with a cut to the face and another on his belly. I can't say how it happened, maybe he got in a fight, maybe he ran into a wall, no idea. None of that here, though, the play seems to be more supervised. They have been very responsive to calls and questions. CCC also has webcams so you can see your dog during the day and they send videos via email from time to time. It's not perfect but having a chance to see the dog during the day is reassuring.

We picked him up and we asked how he was... the girl said "oh I don't know, I guess okay" ‍ like we want to know how he was and you can't even tell us how he was for a week?? Not only that... he was stuck in a cage all day long, all week when we were told they get play time, hence why they asked us if he likes other dogs, which he loves. Will not go back to them. Sorry but my dog is my baby and I want to know how things went and it's messed up when you get the answer "oh I don't know".
