I know almost everyone works during the week, mostly from 0800 too 1700hrs. Oddly enough that is when Biggins is open. Therefore I have found all I need for lighting, fans etc. at Lowes. Since being frustrated by Biggins hours, I suggest you go to the local big box stores. It is obvious Biggins is not interested in meeting the needs of the working people in Redding. I wanted to buy from a local company rather than online or from a big box store. Help in the store was great. Item ordered. Was told item would arrive in four weeks. After 6 weeks, I called and was informed item was not available. Ordered the item in a different finish. Again waited for a call. Never got a call. Had to follow up. HORRIBLE service after the sale. I was really looking forward to purchasing lights for our new home but the energy we felt in this place made us walk out. We walked in and the lady at the desk who was helping another lady, didn't not even acknowledge us. There was another older guy who watched us for a bit. We were probably walking around for 5 minutes before he asked us if we needed anything. He was watching us as if we were going to take something. Another guy who looked as if he was putting tags on didn't even look at us. We are new to the area and not your average looking Redding resident. I can't help but feel as if that may have been why we didn't get any attention? But even so, when a customer walks into your business, you should at least acknowledge them. They have a huge selection of beautiful lights and I'm sad I cannot purchase from them. But I will not give my business to them if they cannot even say hello. read more

I had purchased a lamp on line. After my husband put it together, it didn't work. Didn't want to box it back up and ship it back. I reached out to Biggins Lightning and spoke to Gary. He was so helpful. He suggested a few possible fixes. No luck. We brought the lamp in and Gary fixed it right up for a very reasonable price.
