So I called a man answered. (The owner). I tried to explain the situation to him and he was very rude. He interrupted me before I could even finish what the issue was with the food, to tell me he was not going to give us a refund. "That we ordered a to-go order and that's what fast food is." We paid $50. Just like any other sit down, paying customer would for their food, only to get poor quality food, very poor customer service and a very RUDE owner. The owner told us to bring all the food back. We arrived at the restaurant after closing time 9pm. The owner said "if the food looks good to me, i'm not going to give you a refund." Mind you me and my husband had maybe 4 bites of the food on each entree to try it as we have NEVER been to the restaurant before. He said "It looks good to me. What do you want? Do you want money?" I said no. I'd like better customer service but since you offered that would be very nice of you. The owner gave me $20 from his wallet and then tried to take all of the food that we purchased. I told him if he wanted to keep ALL the food then he can give me a full refund... he refused. If you can't tell from the start of my review, we think the Basted Mary is an absolute must order. It is an experience like no other. Both the Mary itself and the meat skewer were flavorful and rich and complemented one another fantastically. The chili fries were not bad, but I would just recommend sticking with the BBQ. Our burnt ends plate was fantastic, and so was the slaw and the okra we got with it. By far one of the best restaurants in the Branson area and a must visit!

He then slices the meat for my sandwich, I slide down, I asked for light amount of mayo and while another woman was attempting to assemble my sandwich he stops slicing meat (helping another customer) to take the mayo from this lady to put on my sandwich. They have also changed their assembly line so you cannot see them assemble your sandwich. I asked for light lettuce on the bread, she put a LOT of lettuce on 1/2 of my sandwich, not the entire sandwich...but since I could not see them assemble my sandwich I was unable to correct this and left the establishment without correcting this. i recommend going to another Goodcents here in town where employees can do their jobs without the older gentleman holding up the line and micromanaging the entire assembly line.
