I paid because I had to ride the bike home. I went back to the shop I bought it from which I have been using for 20 years. This bike store has a fantastic selection of high end bikes like Pinarello, Colnago, BMC, etc. I love to check these bikes out but I must admit I only have a relatively common Cannondale bike. I assumed that this selection of bikes would prompt an arrogance that you often see at many high end stores. But that wasn't my experience the other day. I was out for what turned out to be a 42 mile ride. But around the 18th mile I passed this store and stopped to check out the inlet a block away. Somehow during that little detour I ran over a nail and got an immediate flat. I realized that I was lucky to have a flat tire so close to a bike store considering I was out for a long ride without any repair tools or a pump. I was met with a positive attitude at Bike Science and they immediately took my bike in to fix the flat. 15 minutes later the bike was ready and they charged me what I thought was a reasonable amount.....not some highly inflated esoteric bike store price. So overall a great experience that definitely makes me want to go back to buy from this store in the future. read more

WORST BIKE SHOP I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! I had a flat tire and after they "fixed it" the wheels were not spinning, so I came back. They fixed it again, the bike chain was not on. I came back again, they fixed it and the tube came out and popped 15 minutes later. I almost got in an accident. Nothing was installed properly and it was dangerous to ride the bike. I had to go to a different bike shop the same day to fix everything and pay again at the different place. I contacted the bike shop and the owner to ask for a refund. Not only they refuse to give me a refund of $50, but was also extremely RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. I have photos of the bike, receipts for all the repairs and I have witnesses. I will be taking it to court. THIS BIKE SHOP IS EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DANGEROUS! Please stay away and save yourself time and trouble! If I could give less than 1 star I would! read more

I rented a Pinarello Angliru carbon road bike from Bike Science for a week. I had a great experience and recommend them highly. Jaimie and Alfedo could not have been more helpful. I sent them my bike fit measurements in advance and they had the bike set up perfectly for me. They delivered it to my hotel (1 mile away) in advance so I did not have to wait over a holiday to take my first ride. They also picked it up when I left. I stopped in to the bike shop a couple of times to say hello. While I was there they switched pedals to accommodate my cleats. I also filled the tires with air while I was there to top off after a few rides. The bike was brand new and in perfect condition. I rode it over 200 miles with no complaints. The price was reasonable for the quality of the bike and the service. read more

I have just rented a bike for a period of 3 weeks. Bike Science have a diversity of bike that meets the needs of all customers. They offer great customer service. I had a small problem with the bike which it was not possible to repair during the day. Without any question, they lent me another bike with the same good quality to avoid making me wait.
