Good thing we were able to find the bikeminded guru on Yelp and make an online reservation for him to come directly to our house within 5 days. We were contacted shortly and given our confirmation and he showed up on time to the appointment and put together our bike in less than an hour. His prices are similar to what we would have paid to bring our bike to a shop nearby with all the separate parts. He also offers different kinds of services and can even build a custom bike for you. We stopped in here to see if this business would work on electric bikes. As soon as we mentioned that we use/have electric bikes, the person behind the counter completely changed his attitude towards us. When we first walked in, he asked if we needed any assistance and i told him no, we were just looking (we had the intention of asking about suggestions for helmets that had built in mics) but i like to check out customer service before i put my heart into it. First, the guy followed us everywhere, which was very annoying. then he asked what area we cycled in, and i told him that we live in Cypress and cycle around Towne Lake. Still not getting a great vibe so i continue to look at accessories. my husband however is not as aware of these types of interactions, nor does he look for specific triggers in customer service. My husband added to my information that we have electric bikes. Immediately the man who was super clingy two minutes before was back behind the counter and said 'electric bikes are the easy way to say you are riding bikes.' I did not stick around long enough to try to figure out his intent about the comment, i can say that i was offended. I might add that i had total knee replacement surgery 4 days ago, and the only way i have been able to ride a bike for the entire last year was because of the electric bikes. i would definitely suggest entertaining other reasons people may be riding electric bikes other than out of laziness, which is the vibe i got from this business. read more

My experience with Justin has been v disappointing, after replacing cables on my left and right shifters, the left shifter jammed after changing gears on 3 occasions. I have tried to contact Justin on numerous times and when I did succeed in speaking with him about looking at the jammed shifter he promised to visit. He hasn't honored either promise. The problem with Justin is that he can ignore his problems because there is no location to see and discuss the issue with him. I am surprised that he doesn't support his workmanship. read more
