Absolutely amazing service. Came into town for Hunter Allen's training came and my rear disc brake wasn't working after transport and reassembly. All the potential of a ruined week. John the owner of bikes unlimited and Felipe the mechanic were able to get me in and repair my bike. Saved my week. They even had a spare mirror in stock which I forget at home and had it installed for me. Highly recommend them. read more

Very friendly and helpful staff! We went in to rent bikes to ride out in the state park. The staff was pleasant from the moment we walked in. The guy who got us the bikes from the connex ensured we knew how to ride them, that the seats were an okay height for us and even recommended local trails for us. The bikes worked without an issues, great breaks and loved the basket for water and stuff we bought in town. The prices were reasonable for a day rate. Upon returning the bikes the same friendly service was given. Renting and returning the bikes was a seamless process. Definitely recommend renting bikes from here. read more

I am from out of state and stopped in to check if they had my shoe size. They didn't have my size, but spent lots of time with me explaining all the local trails. Then they let me use their bathroom to change into my cycling clothes and ride the trails that run next to the shop. Great people! read more

Freaking awesome place. Everyone was super nice and helpful. We were riding a trail and my brothers derailer completely got ripped off by a branch so we were in a time crunch and needed it to be fixed. I'll start with the positive. Their downtown location is cool -- great building and interior. Does it say something the only good thing I can report about Bikes Unlimited is in regards to the inanimate building? I interacted with three separate employees. The first was condescending about my old and beaten-up bike that I was interested in getting repaired. The second freely admitted that he knew nothing about the store's (rather limited) stock. The reason he gave for one seat costing more than another was that it was "better." How it was better he did not know. The third seemed totally uninterested in selling me a bike, maybe because I was looking at the used bikes. I suppose if you're a serious biker and into the best and brightest in bikes and accessories, you might receive good treatment at Bikes Unlimited. If you're like me and only want a basic, no-frills bike to ride on Blackwater Creek Trail, I can't recommend this business. read more
