Megan simply elevates the practice of yoga. She's inspirational, kind, encouraging and works at the level of each of her students. Not only does my practice improve, but she has built a caring community of students and yogis around her. Her classes are for everyone - regardless of your level. Injured shoulder, she can work around it, not flexible there yet, she has a modification. She helps you be in the practice even if it's your first practice, your first time back in a while or your first 100 days. I read some of the other reviews and I seriously didn't know what they were talking about. I've never had anything but a stellar experience at BYCF. It's a fabulous studio. read more

I went for a trail run with two of my buddies in Delaware, Steve and Dave. We joked around about Bikram Yoga at Chadds Ford. After the run was over, I was in a pretty good mood and couldn't help laughing. I think Simply Beth is a warm lady who is a kind person, but is hurting from the inability to bridge initial rapport with clients to get them to appreciate her sense of humor. This process takes at least a day or two so when she dials it to 11 on the first day it can be too intense for some. I will someday go back and give the class another shot with this better understanding of Simply Beth. I had done Bikram when living in Philadelphia and it was great! I moved to the Chadds Ford area and was excited to get back into it - I had taken years off of yoga. This particular studio made me feel so uncomfortable - especially the instructor Megan. I would not go back here - even though it is so close to my house. I took a beginners hot yoga class, it was horrible. The instructor, Leo, was rude and condescending with his instruction. He stated multiple times that he'd been teaching for 20 years and honestly I was shocked. The class was not relaxing or peaceful until he left the room. I felt he was yelling the entire 90 mins of class with zero constructive coaching, it was more roasting and embarrassing than anything. I've taken a ton of yoga classes and this by far was the worst experience ever and will never go back. Halfway through the class he was pitching sales of merchandise and gift cards and then ended with a radio announcer bit. Lastly, I was openly criticized for taking a breaks in child's pose and taking drinks of water throughout the entire class.....I have never experienced that before. read more

My daughter had tried to convince me for months to join. I am 59 and lost track taking care of myself, putting others before myself. I realized if I didn't step out of the box and change something, nothing would change. I finally gave in and joined. It is the best thing I've ever done for myself, pushing me further than I ever knew was possible. I didn't realize that I had lost a lot of my balance. I am starting to feel really good about myself. I've been at it for 2 months now. Still working on it, but getting there. No one judges you here. Absolutely love Megan, so positive and naturally cheerful. I regularly take classes with Leo and Lindsey. Love them both! They both challenge you and try to help you to get where you want to be. My only regret is not listening to my daughter sooner. read more

I love this place so much. It's transformed my life over the past year. I'm a busy working mom of 3 kids who has always loved yoga but lost track of taking care of myself after having kids which many moms do. If you love a challenge, are looking for a supportive environment to practice, and enjoy heat, this is the place for you. No judgement, the best instructors, and best of all - the space and time to focus on you. Even if you don't care for the heat, there are classes like barre and ashtanga that are just as great. read more

I  was introduced to Bikram yoga through Groupon, and since I liked it I happily purchased another Groupon not knowing I was not allowed to do so. After speaking with a couple of the yoga teachers at the studio my Groupon was honored. I was so glad. Then last Thursday I came to class with my friend, and the owner of the studio (who also happened to be the teacher that day) told me that I had to pay for my visit for the same reason that was already rectified. Speaking to me rather rudely about my supposedly expired Groupon. While I tried to explain the story (evidently there was a lack of communication between the teachers) the owner approached me rather unprofessionally, in front of my friend, with a demeaning and condescending tone. I was not prepared to be made to feel stressed by the very yoga teacher whose class I was about to enter. My friend also refused to take the class, seeing the teacher/owner's attitude and lack of understanding. We both immediately left the studio in a state of shock and disbelief.  Since I haven't received any phone call from the teacher nor an apology, or even an explanation for her behavior, I decided to share my first and worst experience in my 20 years of taking yoga. read more

This place is more than just a yoga studio - it's an amazing community of caring yogis, lead by some of the best Bikram Yoga instructors in the area. These teachers don't come in, day after day, and just repeat the dialogue. They inspire. They push you further than you thought you could go. They care and get excited when students keep coming back and making progress. The regulars all know each other by name, and are very welcoming to new folks to help our community grow. As Megan says, "Come back tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow." I do and can't imagine my life without this studio or these friends. read more

The staff was extremely rude, non helpful, and just plain rude in the studio and then attacking me online afterwards. I was trying to Simply explain yoga is supposed to be a spiritual and mental thing as well as physical all he cared about was the physical.
