I also enjoyed how they don't try to sell packages and slide them down your throat. I usually avoid places like that or any salesy personnel. Really enjoyed how it's super laid back and chill and do it at your own pace. I've been lifting weights since 2018 and never thought that i could feel such stretches in my muscles during Pilates. I can say that I have grown love for Pilates. !

I had been recovering from a herniated disc that also led to the discovery of mild scoliosis, which is not abnormal for older women, in particular. I took all of these issues to LSF and was rewarded with excellent knowledge and experience helping others like myself work back to a strong, flexible body. While I don't always love it, every instructor has been on me for positioning and form, which is key to not getting reinjured. As a pilates newbie, it's been helpful and I do not exaggerate when I say that I have been mostly pain-free since starting. My only struggle is with signing up for classes. Because they fill up very quickly, it is hard to budget because you need to sign up for a lot of classes in advance, which means you have to pay for a lot of classes at once. (They're certainly worth it and priced fairly.) I have had success with the waiting list, however, and there was only one time I did not get into the class. The silver lining of all this is that clearly people think highly of the classes/instructors and want to get in! I also appreciate that the owner/staff "hear" clients and try to make class policy changes that are sensible and not just penal. It's not easy running a small fitness business, so just them being there as a resource is terrific. They play great music, everyone is super friendly and down-to-earth, and the studio is cute. Thrilled to be an LSF'r and look forward to a pain-free spring and summer unlike last year! Thanks, LSF!

The bikes are able to angle and there is a screen that plays scenery - so it simulates riding outside (confession I actually buy pov videos like this for when i throw my road bike on the trainer in the winter- so I might be partial to that set up) The amount of core work that I did in this 60 min class - from balancing on the bike to digging into big turns - was tremendous. This was a super interesting, great workout. The music was not too loud which I appreciate, the instructor was clear and motivational, the music ranged from fall out boy to classical to indie to pop - there was something for everyone and it all worked seamlessly. I went as a "first spin free" but I will be buying the living social deal as soon as I get home. It's worth the drive to Wayne!!!! (Plus you can hit up rawcanroll that's pretty much just across the street - bc you've obviously earned it after an hour here)

They simulate a real bike ride so the bike rotates from side to side. The instructor I had, Shane, was so nice and very helpful setting up my bike since it was the first time using that kind of bike. I recommend trying this new studio out.
