Booked this class on class pass and was so excited to try it out. It was storming today on my way over so lots of traffic and I arrived at the door not even 2 minutes late soaking wet rushing and they locked the doors. Very upsetting because I got dressed and was ready after a stressful week to decompress. Time and time again, this studio has made a lasting positive impression on me. Last time I wrote a review for Bikram Yoga Delray Beach was in 2013. It's almost 2017, so I wanted to update my review. The studio has made some great changes, the most noticeable one is the additional sinks in the locker/changing area. Also the beauty of some new additional art work is pleasing to the eyes. The floors without the carpet are great and eliminate any sweat smell. They clean the studio after each class and it smells amazing when you go inside the class! Speaking of Bikram yoga itself, it is amazing. I feel rejuvenated and happy after completing each class. The Bikram class is challenging however any phase can try it out since even beginners or advance yoga practicing individuals are in it. For me, It's been a real challenge since a few weeks ago I fell and hurt my knee really badly. Some days it's more sore than others. All the teachers truly care about my well being and make sure I don't hurt myself further so some of the postures and exercise I do not do due to my left knee. However, the heat feels good on my knee. I want to say special thanks to all the teachers who I had a pleasure taking a class with. A few names come to mind. Jon who teaches but also is the owner of the studio is a compassionate and wonderful guide while taking a class with him. Jill is also another instructor who is awesome, she motivates me to stay focused and try to be one with my mind for the 90 minutes of the class. Edson is a cool teacher who always makes me smile in the way he instructs. Lastly I took a class with Cole, who I loved in the fact how he said breathing means freedom. Such a simple way of saying something but so impactful. These are just few examples to show how awesome each teacher is in this studio. I love coming here even though it's a bit far from my house but it's totally worth it, specially if you have never tried Bikram Yoga, this is the studio to try it once. In love, love, love, love with Bikram Yoga Delray Beach studio!!! I seriously make the drive from West Palm Beach because it is soooo worth it!!! What I love about this studio: - The teachers!!! My faves are Jon, Cole, and Milly to name a few.... they are each so amazing, motivating, encouraging, and uplifting! - The studio!! It's really nice, always clean, great hardwood flooring, ample mirrors, convenient locker rooms with full showers.... it's just really a great overall space :) - The schedule!! I love that the studio is open everyday!!! That's so awesome!! I think it's one of the few yoga and gym studios that offers 7 day practice with great time selections! I'm updating my original review since I've maintained a regular practice at this studio for over 6 months now. I try to practice anywhere from 4 to 7 times per week to keep on top of my practice by improving my flexibility and strength, and have subsequently dropped 22 pounds. This Bikram studio is EXCELLENT in keeping to Bikram's prescribed methodology of practice. If you've only taken hot yoga, but never taken Bikram, plan on 26 postures done twice, with 2 breathing exercises. This is not simply a hot yoga class. It is a Bikram yoga class, so be sure not to get the two mixed up. The room is heated to 105 with humidity pumped in, and the teachers each have their own style but are fantastic in reminding us what's expected in a Bikram class -- focusing on yourself in the mirror, listening to the dialogue, breathing through your nose, and remembering that each day is different and only pushing yourself as far as your body will take you on any given day. It's a practice. Each day is different, though the asanas will always remain the same. In all of the studios I've visited over the years, this has the most caring and passionate group of teachers I've been lucky to practice with. Thank you! read more

This studio is clean, hard floors, ample lighting, and everyone there is generally nice and helpful. All of the teachers there are good. I prefer Ross because he never stops talking, so I don't have to hear all of us dripping (which kind of sounds like a dog peeing in the room) or Edson, who is very upbeat and helps with form, these are the two I know best. Anyone can take these classes, they range from beginners to advanced. Bikram yoga is difficult and it is obviously hot. The pricing is fair and competitive. I have been going regularly now for a few months and plan to go weekly without fail. I highly recommend this studio. Some of the regulars there are extremely welcoming! read more

I have been to a lot of Bikram Yoga studios in the United States (even in Los Angeles where Yoga is everywhere)... but this Bikram yoga studio in Delray Beach has the best yoga instructors by far!! The studio is in a great location, has great flooring and has a great energy about it (anyone who does yoga knows how important the energy about the studio is:)... And I can't say enough about how great the instructors lead the class! I always feel so great after each and every class- I just keep coming back for more!! I highly recommend this studio to others! Good heavens, the smell of this place is so disgusting that I wanted to just keel over the minute I walked in. I was visiting from out of town, and was going to do the out of towner special, but changed my mind after actually coming in to see the place. It didn't help that the guy at the front desk was kind of rude. That sealed it for me. I went instead to Hot Yoga of Delray, which is about 500 feet south on the same side of the street. Granted, it's not Bikram, but at least I didn't feel as if I was going to catch something from the floor of their studio. read more

I was a bit nervous to go to the Delray studio after reading the reviews. I had practiced here back when they first opened and I thought the place was great. I've been practicing Bikram for a long time and I've been to some disgusting studios around the country and I figured...."How bad could it be?" Well, I'll tell you, the place is great. They have a brand new rubber-like floor which is FANTASTIC to work on and NO CARPET so the place is great! The room is hot. The instructors are too. (Had to throw that in.) It makes me sad that people give this yoga studio 1 star. First and foremost, the studio is not carpeted and does not smell like ass. It is an incredibly clean facility. The instructors are excellent traditional Bikram teachers. They do their job well and the way they were trained. The heat and humidity in the studio are consistent. I was so pleased, and bought an unlimited class package. This Yoga changed my life and continues too. For seasoned Bikram practitioners, this is a great place for you. I visit the Palm Beaches often for work and try different yoga studios. This isn't the most modern, cleanest, well appointed studio but, the instructors rock their Bikram dialogue and have great energy. I had classes with Lauren and Ross and loved them both. The downside is the ladies changing room. My girl scout camp in the Adirondacks had a better bathroom set-up for a group of sweaty girls. There is one rustic shower for all and if you need/want to shower after class the wait can be long. If that isn't an issue you will definitely have a positive Bikram experience. Namaste! read more

I just started coming here and it's awesome, contrary to some reviews on here I think that this studio is very clean. I saw that they clean the floor of the yoga room after every class. It does not smell and there is no carpet anywhere which is great. Teachers have been great so far, I love when teachers interact with me and talk to me during class instead of just standing in the back and talk like a recording. They deff motivate me and they are very nice. read more

This is an outstanding Bikram yoga studio. Text book, in fact. If you are new to Bikram or have been only doing a hot Hatha or hot 60, you will need to prepare accordingly as it will knock you on your tush if you don't. Come hydrated, be prepared to sweat and try to do 3 classes within s week/10 days to acclimate. This IS different than vinyasa so eliminate your expectations and get ready for an amazing experience! I only rated it 4 stars because "nothing is perfect." But, in this case it does not need to be. I am writing this review because I just went on line to check the class schedule and wound up meandering to this blog and became astounded-- as I often do-- by the comments of the "haters." Completely unjustified in my opinion. I have been coming to this studio since my first class more than two years ago. And I like many others will testify that this practice has truly changed the quality of my life for the good. I travel and have experienced a number of other studios some nicer, bigger, newer... but none better! And it is the level of instructional expertise and compassion...that counts the most to me. I could call them all by name...each and every one of these instructors are good and provide excellent feedback and direction. I am not looking for perfection, but I am seeking constant improvement in myself, and my practices-- through their reliable support-- never fail. I appreciate especially their personal critique because I feel they are paying attention and are learning about me and are investing in my growth. I say to the haters... what smell of a 100 degree humidity filled room with live sweaty bodies have you been in that doesn't disgust you? First time experience at Bikram Yoga in Delray. I am an avid weight lifter and I decided to try hot yoga. This was a great experience in gaining flexibility. I plan to continue Bikram Yoga as it's a great compliment to what I'm currently doing. The instructor today, Griffin was great at running a very nice group class. read more

I wasn't going to write any review for this place until I had such a terrible experience with Lauren. I have been here a few times and the facility is unclean. What I just couldn't get past was the smell so I picked another facility. The instructors know what their doing but are not very welcoming. the last straw and what inspired my review is when I kept trying to unsubscribe to their emails. I hit unsubscribe a million times but i would still get emails. I replied to them twice and no response. Finally I sent a nasty email threatening a bad review and I got a sarcastic response from Lauren saying "sounds like you need some yoga." I will never be back because of that comment. read more

This studio is excellent. My first experience here was a friendly one and it is very clean and large compared to other bikram studios. They also have a $25 unlimited weekly special for new members, which is a great price. No carpet, and clean floors! Everyone has a spot in the mirror. The ONLY downside here is no showers. read more

Went to this class because it was the only one that accommodated my schedule, I informed the man teaching class that I have never done hot yoga or yoga in a while and if it was a easy class, he said yes perfect class. 20 minutes into the class I noticed that everyone in the class was so advance. I had not particpated in any type of yoga, and decided to try this form. It did take some getting used to the heat (Approximately 100+ degrees) but it IS neccessary to keep the room that hot to work the muscles. I started with the trail offer and haven't stopped my practice for the past five months. It is a new way of life for me, and I almost feel guilty when I don't go. For people of all ages, all medical conditions, and all degrees of being in shape... Bikram is the way to go... I sleep better, look better, feel better, and think better... Love bikram yoga and really would love to give it 5 stars but can't because the place smells so bad I coudn't get over it. It feels like the time to change the carpets is like 2 or 3 years overdue, and the smell knocks you off your feet the moment of enetering the place.
