Having moved to Florida over 2 years ago from the Bay Area, I can say that although I've only been to 3 classes here, this is a great yoga studio. I love the Sunday morning yoga class with live music at the Colony. It's a wonderful way to start a day. This class attracts an eclectic crowd with yogis beg level to advanced and people in their early 20's into their 70's. Tip- they have yoga mats to borrow but don't appear to be washed so bring your own towel to put on top of their loan-er mat. I have been 3 times while on vacation- I wish they had a class like this is my hometown. If you need a lot of space when doing your yoga practice, this is not the place for you. The room packs people in like a bunch of sardines. There was likely over 100 people there today. That said, for me, it's all part of the fun. Highly recommend! read more

Yoga fox is so welcoming and makes everyone feel comfortable regardless of their level. They have great deals too. If you were to drop into the Sunday yoga class it would be 20 dollars but if you buy the package for 200 dollars for 20 classes it comes out to 10 Dollars a class... So worth it. There is a juice bar right next to the yoga class at the colony hotel so def bring money so you can you go there after. Best way to start of your morning yoga and and green juice. If you've had the pleasure of attending one of Keith Fox's yoga classes you won't need to read any further. I've spent decades gym jumping and studio hopping as I travel. There's something enjoyable about taking in a different flavor of fitness in a new city whether it be a free weight gym, a new running course, or a yoga studio. I happened to be staying at the Colonial Hotel in Delray Beach when I came across FoxYoga. Fox Yoga instructors lead 10 classes per week at The Colonial Hotel in Delray Beach. They're held in one of the beautiful old wooden floor ballrooms. If you're lucky enough to have Keith lead the class you're in for a treat. A motivating voice and great direction led me to a practice worth remembering. The place was packed and I could see why. Despite this I totally got my zen on. FoxYoga teaches out of two other locations and I definitely plan to partake again when I'm in town. read more

Great studio! Feels like you're in a beautiful tree house. Love the early morning classes and the live music vinyasa on Sunday. I've never experienced anything like it and I feel super uplifted afterwards. I enjoyed class w Kelly at the studio so was looking forward to Sunday morning w music at the colony hotel. Keith, the owner arrived 15 min late, and amidst selling tshirts, rushed to promote mats, yoga fest tickets etc. I found $25 price steep considering there were over a hundred people and at that price the music disappointing as there was only one percussionist and a keyboardist. Where's the Sitar? I had the feeling he was a profiteering showman (couldn't help but wonder is he actually earning two thousand dollars? And can't provide clean mats?) He was even shouting out by name approval to certain individuals. I have been to dozens of studios in my 23 years of yoga and NEVER experienced that one. His self help lecture during savasana was overblown, counterproductive. I found the whole experience, which could've been really cool, a turn off. Tara, also at the colony on Saturday mornings, was likable and upbeat but like Keith, closer to a fitness instructor playing Rolling Stones, giving Self help talk etc. Those who prefer power yoga would enjoy her class. read more

I can't believe people are singing the praises of this studio. I went here once years ago on a weekday and it was tolerable so I returned for he Sunday live music class. The $25 drop in rate is absolute price gouging, and I don't appreciate that tourists subsidize the costs of running this place. As another reviewer noted, the mats are old and disgusting (the woman signing me in said she did not accept complaints about the mats, so I guess they know they are icky). The live music was great but the teacher, not so much. Keith spent the entire class making inside jokes about a trip to Bali, walking around the teacher trainees in the class and completely ignoring any alignment cues or directions for anyone. Several times he forgot to repeat the other side and just went with it. Ok, but making jokes that you are drunk, cueing the most basic vinyasa ever while long periods of silence pass... Not sure what the hype is about. If I pay NYC prices not in New York City, I expect quality and this was not it. Brb showering from the germy mat I used. read more

Went in for Sunday yoga again and brought along my 9 and 7 year old daughters for kids yoga. When we arrived we found out that kids yoga was not happening and the staff was unsure if it would return. My daughters wanted to attend so I brought them with me to my class. My 9 year old wants to come back every Sunday now. Thanks for not disappointing us. Yoga Fox studio is awesome. I have been practicing there for some time now and just could not ask for a better, more encouraging environment. The owners are fantastic and very obviously just want to spread all the joys yoga can bring to anyone who is open to the experience. They offer the cheapest classes I have seen in south Florida (including a few donation only classes during the week). Sunday morning classes are done with live music... What a treat!!! In the beginning I had a lot of questions about yoga- breathing, philosophy, physical benefits etc., and every teacher I spoke with was more than willing to take the time and answer any questions I had... Not to mention the countless workshops and extra classes offered. Just all around a place that makes you feel good as soon as you walk in. Could not ask for a better studio so close to my house! I practiced yoga with a video at home before finding YogaFox, and wanted to explore what it was really all about. I spoke with Keith over the phone twice before making an appearance in a class. Keith was calm but excited to have me in class right away. I went to a class the same day and left feeling refreshed, peaceful, and blissful. Now I go at least twice weekly, and am even considering teacher training in the future. Two out of the three teachers I've met have been phenomenal. The other was good, but lacked enthusiasm and was not very informative for beginners. I had to take one star away for that. read more

I don't see what all the hype is about this place. The owner Keith has this harsh, rude energy whenever I speak to him on the phone to get info. I took a class at the Buddha lounge - the buddha lounge is a good looking place, but the instructor was not good at all. No direction during the class - and it was SUPER hot - god damn! put on the air conditioner people. It doesn't need to be freezing but super hot is no good. Great class at the Colony Hotel for intermediate or advanced yogis. I really enjoyed the workout. However, the floor of the yoga room was not clean and the mats offered for use were old and filthy. When a yoga class is offered at a hotel in a vacation destination town, it should be expected that vacationers attend who don't have mats with them. Yoga Fox should supply cleaner newer mats for attendees. I have been to other studios that offer clean mats and a clean studio floor. read more

I've never written a Yelp review but anything I can do to sing the praises of Keith Fox's practice, here goes.... Was in town to help my mother move condos and needed an escape from 4pm dinners and trips to Goodwill. Hit Yelp and saw this place and figured I'd give it a try- went to the Sat Am class at Colony Hotel. It was so good, I came back with brother in tow for Sunday AM live music style. There is nothing like this around the US- and I travel all over. Not only a brilliant workout but fun, inspirational, just flat out cool. The setting at first seems weird - ballroom in old hotel- but it adds to the quirkiness, class and vibe of the classes....For the Sat AM class, where else can you do Yoga to Allman Bro's, The Who, Credence and Zeppelin??? The live music session on Sun is great too- and jam packed (get there early!)....The regulars are on to something here- this dude is a blast! If you are looking for lame candles, soft whispers and boring classes, this is not for you. All levels were here- first timers and extremely limber rock stars- as Keith would say, everyone was "awesome," no matter what level.....Wish I lived in Florida read more
