Jerry is amazing!…read more After moving and sleeping in an air mattress for two days, I came in for a 30 minute massage with Jerry. He right away felt the tension in my upper back and the message was perfect. Highly recommend him and I'll definitely be back!

Thanks to Joy G. (and Yelp) for the tip! I never would've found this place on my own, tucked away…read moreas it is under a stoop in the basement of a residential building. It looks a little shady from outside, quite frankly, but inside, the space is pleasant, the massage tables impeccably clean. You can, indeed, hear all the goings on in the adjoining rooms, as Joy noted, but luckily on my visit, there wasn't anything too loud or distracting going on. They seem to have good COVID procedures in place: Everyone gets a temperature check before coming in, a squirt of hand sanitizer, and their shoes spritzed with disinfectant. Staff and customers remain masked at all times. My massage therapist, Michelle, was excellent -- more akin to a medical professional than a spa employee. Like every other office grunt in NYC, I sit a lot and my back / shoulders are a disaster. I also do a lot of kid lifting (this should be an Olympic event) and recently started taking taekwondo classes, which are beating the crud out of me -- in a good way. Her technique was almost painfully hard, but magically kneaded out the kinks and qi blockages. Yep, an hour lying on your belly does leave you looking like you've spent the last hour sobbing, with or without contacts in. (I don't wear contacts or glasses because, according to my parents, I never studied hard enough. ;) So bring shades and an extra mask in case you relax so much you drool. Pricing is ridiculously inexpensive: $48 for 61 minutes! And yes, it is sixty-ONE minutes. Maybe it's a numerology thing.

Some of the best massages I've gotten in my entire life were from here. All the massage therapists…read morehave a good sense for the body. They use firm but not painful pressure and I always walk out feeling like I'm floating, pain free. I love this place!

BEWARE of Precious Stone Chinese Qi Gong Tui-na Body Work Health Center, 535 6th Ave, Pk Slope…read more Last Sunday I had the most disturbing and stressful massage of my life at Qi Gong. From the very beginning of the message, I felt uncomfortable with the masseur (I never got his name). He: * leaned his body against mine way too much, forcing me to slide over to the other side of the massage table to avoid him. He either did not understand what I told him in English, or he feigned not understanding. * completely removed the towel covering my butt, and although I replaced it twice, he removed it twice more. * slide his hand across my privates. At that point, I stopped him and warned him to be careful, and to keep his hand away from my privates, and he said, "ok." A few minutes later, he repeated this on my other leg. I then stopped the massage, told him to leave, and went to the front desk to report him. I told the receptionist that they were both lucky I didn't call the sex crimes unit to report a sexual assault. The receptionist defended the masseur, saying there had never been a complaint against him. Later that day I reported the incident to the 78th Precinct, and Officer McCarthy filed a "forcible touching" complaint. UPDATE: The manager, Amy, later texted me and offered me a $100 bribe to take down this review. I refused. Has anyone else suffered inappropriate behavior/sexual assault by the masseuses and masseurs at Qi Gong? If so, please report these on their Yelp page to warn other potential customers. I've also posted this 3 times but Yelp seems to be removing the review. I changed the word to "privates" in hopes that this won't flag the review. 6 days ago · 12
