I don't think I've ever been treated better from a company. They went above and beyond my expectations! I called Bill Thrower Company on Monday at ~5:15PM. They technically close at 5PM, but I figured if they didn't answer, I could at the very least leave a voicemail. A really nice gentleman answered the phone and assisted me with placing an after hours order. I had to order 336 feet of crown molding and base cap. He was very knowledgeable and took his time to assure all the details were correct. He let me know that he would have this order in before he walked out the door. I know that the company does next day delivery and taking another long shot again, I asked him if we could have the materials delivered the next day on Tuesday. He said that wouldn't be a problem, but the trucks were already loaded for the first deliveries of the day so it probably wouldn't be until around lunch time. I really was hoping for them first thing in the morning and I asked him if that would be possible. He took down my phone number and let me know he would do his best to acquiesce my request. Unfortunately he wouldn't know until the morning when the rest of the crew arrived. The next morning, I received a call around 7:30AM letting me know that they were going to make my deliver the first of the morning and that they would be heading there in about 5 minutes! I was stoked we could get the logistics figured out and headed over to meet the deliver driver. The driver got there before I did and graciously gave me a courtesy call to confirm he was at the right location and told me he would not mind waiting for me. By the time I arrived, he had all the materials professionally unloaded and all I needed to do was confirm the order and sign the receipt. They came out when they said they were going to come and was able to unload the merchandise (molding/baseboards) quickly. The warehouse is rather dark and dusty but it is a warehouse. $45 Delivery fee no matter how many boards you have delivered. read more

Guys, I waited to write this review because I waited probably five weeks to get my doors. But it was well worth the wait, and Tracy was a pleasure to deal with. He didn't always tell me what I wanted to hear. But he did tell me what I needed to hear. Tracy always communicated well with me. From the beginning to the very end and make sure that the order was accurate when ordering doors can get dicey and with Bill thrower Company they make sure it's done right the first time, so thanks Tracy thanks guys strongly recommend them. I literally drove five hours from Fort Myers to get these doors in Jacksonville. I wish they would do deliveries but they don't offer that service. Finally, on the fifth day somebody else called apologized and said I will take care of you have patience... we did.... We never heard back.... If you don't want our business just say it!! Three months and many complaints later, they delivered the doors, and all three were not what I had ordered--one had the wrong swing, a glass window was missing, and dimensions were not as ordered. After a complaint to BBB, they delivered the doors again, and one of them was still not what I had ordered, even after going over the dimensions with them very carefully again. DO NOT use this company! We ordered doors 3 months ago for our house. After sending the rep exactly what we wanted along with sizes, he orders the wrong back doors. They ended up being 2 ft short and not the style we wanted. After letting him know he gave us the "oh well there's nothing I can do about it". We got in touch with the owner and after a lot of crap he ordered the correct doors... after charging us $2400 MORE. So after 2 months of waiting we got the correct doors. Well, one of the doors was delivered with plywood because the glass was busted! A month later they deliver the glass for the door and refuse to put it in! Meanwhile we have spent $7000 on doors! This is a very unprofessional company. Here's my story. My parents needed to order a window for their kitchen. The whole idea was they hated the grid look and wanted something more simple. E**** comes to their house to measure the window space and we told him exactly what we wanted. Only one line horizontal, not the grid style. He was in a hurry to leave and I asked him, wondering why he is NOT writing any of these details down. He said he had it all in his head and didn't need to. Some time passed and we got our invoice and it was with a drawing of a grid style which is what we asked they DIDNT do. So they went ahead and fixed the invoice and sent us the correct invoice. A months passes, they said it would take 2 weeks and we called countless times asking where our window is with the same excuse that it's the holidays so we will be behind about 4 days. I asked how 4 days turn into a whole month. The window should've been here long ago even with the holidays. Either he's very slow because the math is very simple. It was the same excuse every time we called to ask. When we finally received our window 3 months later, it was in fact with the GRID. I was shocked. They said it would take 2 weeks and turned into 3 months and it was also the INCORRECT window. We called and said we want what we ordered and they ordered the correct window which took 2 more months. 2 more months pass and we got the correct window but guess what? It has two of the same sides so we couldn't even install them. I called very very upset because after a 5 month wait to have 3 mistakes is unacceptable. The manager J*** was very unprofessional and didn't do anything for us accept say "sorry". He said our corrected window side will arrive in a month. Sorry is not enough when you have to wait 6 months for a window! I took over this headache for my dad who has heart problems and can't handle such stress. I explained to the manager I'm trying to handle this situation because my dad is having open heart surgery that week. He was cold with me and wouldn't compensate for the high energy bills we had for having the contractor come and do an unfinished job, to only have to come again to complete everything. We had no trim around the window, we wanted to wait to see if we would even ever receive what we ordered. This is the worst experience we have ever had. I have no idea how this business is still standing. Let me add that every time we called in the span of 5 months I was shocked at how unorganized this company is. They "wrote down our number" when we called each and every time. I told the employees that we had already given our number to them over and over again. Why do they keep asking? Do they not remember us? If I could give them 0 stars, I would. We were nothing but kind to them after so many screw ups. Unorganized, unprofessional, rude, unapologetic, uncaring. Purchased an exterior door for the rear entry kitchen, only place I could find with blinds in between the glass so as tho protect them. Door came with lifetime warranty far superior to anything you can buy at the big box stores. Wish I would have purchased my other rear entry door from them instead of lowes box store door already having issues read more
