Very expensive. Car broke down after 4 days and had to be towed. I highly recommend to go somewhere else.

Let's face it it's hard to find a honest, skilled, and reliable mechanic shop.

Autobahn Auto Center is definitely a place that you should seriously consider for maintenance and…read morerepairs if you have a German Import car! First off, the owner Pablo runs a great, clean and professional shop! Unlike many shops that will try and "churn" you and recommend things that may not really need to be done for another year or two, I have found that he will only recommend services based on what the Manufacturer of your vehicle recommends at that mileage, or years of existence! Unless, the service technicians (who all seem to be great), notice something that needs attention. This is an HONEST BUSINESS that will do the right thing!:-) I have been using them for the last couple of years to service my 2018 BMW X6 and my 2019 Audi A4. And, although it is never cheap when you are maintaining these German import cars, I feel that you get a great price and value at Autobahn Auto Center! Specifically due to the aforementioned verbiage in that they will not try and recommend anything that you do not need at the time of service. This is pretty BIG in my opinion! After all, most of us have experienced other shops try to "churn" additional services that may not need to be done until a later date in the future. Lastly, but certainly "not the least", is that the staff that you interact with (Pablo, Katie & Amanda) are ALWAYS GREAT!:-) They are all super nice & informative if you have questions. If Katie & Amanda cannot answer them instantly, they will get an answer from Pablo pretty quickly and get back to you. I try not have favorites, but Katie is awesome! She is smart and has a sense of humor like mine!:-) Thank you Autobahn Auto Center staff (especially Katie) for the professional, yet pleasant and fun experience in getting your cars serviced!

beware. I read reviews and thought this was a good choice. I was dead wrong. owner tried to…read moreoversell services. he gave me a 2 page list of recommended services one of which was new tires. my tires were premium grade, 2 years old and had less then 20k miles on them. I bought them from Costco. owner said "you're in danger of a blowout" and "I'm surprised you don't hear them" he showed me a false report with low tread of 3/32 and photos which he said were "dry rot". this made me suspicious. I refused the two page list of recommended services, and the new set of tires and called Costco. Costco got me in within the hour. i drove there immediately. I have included photos of both Autobahns false report of a 3/32 tread with dry rot, and the report from Costco with the actual tire tread of 7/32. No dry rot. I concurred with not only the person, but two other people, including the manager at Costco to ensure that their report was correct. I wrote a review of Autobahn on Google and since that date, the owner has not stopped harassing me. He's written me multiple letters telling me that my Carfax report stated that I had not changed the tires. And that all of the things on his two page list of recommendations were all from Carfax. The Carfax report is obviously not up-to-date because I've had all of the services that he recommended recently completed. I come from a family of automotive experts. Additionally, while I was waiting to pay for my transmission fluid service, another gentleman came in saying that he too, was told that he needed a new set of tires. He said this was impossible, because his tires were relatively new and he used to own tire stores. additionally I noticed on my bill that I was charged for two hours of service, not one - which was the agreed upon amount on the original quote for service - Evidently the extra $260.00 hour of service was his shop examining my car looking for more services to add. This young man took over his father's shop, I believe the good ratings were from when his father was running it. But this young man is a thief. beware.

They say wait 48 hours before responding to anything that's happened. I've waited 2 months to make…read moresure that I'm certain I wanted to write this. At the end of June I took my BMW to this shop, the car won't start after I replaced one of the radiator hoses. During my repair of the hose, I removed the computer from the engine, it was the only way to reattach the hose, my mistake was that when I brought the car to the shop, I told them that. They zeroed in on that and told me that they need to get it reprogrammed. Gave me a price of $4,440 to get this done, I had done some researched and read that I could take that much to do so I didn't question it too much, so I agreed. They won't call me back when they said they would so I had to keep calling them for status on the car, finally it was ready to pick up but it wasn't starting still, at least what they told me was that it started for a few minutes and it would stall. They told me that they "thought" it was the time chain, that it wasn't catching because of a guard that keeps the chain in place. Quoted me a price of $6,000-ish to get this done and maybe it would work, I came in to get it and the following things happened: 1. I was told without asking, "We don't have a receipt for the computer fix because they guy they send out to doesn't give that out" 2. The cost to fix the chain issue was as little as 3K or up to 4K but he'd work with me to get it down to the 4K area. I was with a friend who knows more about cars than I do and so we decided to take it elsewhere. Before I took the car out, my neighbor knew one of the techs/advisors there and got a hold of him. I spoke with this other guy, and I was quoted 1k to do the work per hour. So, from 6K to 4K to 1Kish... ok I had trust issues, so I said no and took the car to another garage. The next morning, I get a call from the new garage, that the engine has no compression and should be replaced. He didn't understand why a timing chain repair was recommended when it was clear that the engine was dead. I saw the engine when it was removed, and it was clear that the head gasket was busted cause of the "milkshake" that was coming out of it. When I took it to European, I knew there was a high probability that the engine was toast but held out hope it was something else. I replaced the engine and got that done for about 8K (this was after already paying 4.4K for a computer repair that I know didn't happen). It is clear now that had I not taken the car elsewhere, this garage would've just kept milking me for more $$ rather than just tell me upfront what was clear from the beginning. They may have gained a loyal customer for regular maintenance or other repair but, they went for the fast buck and earned another bad review. There are many honest garages all over town, unfortunately for them the acts of this garage bring back the old perceptions of all mechanics "they can't be trusted". Take this as my experience and not yours but be sure you get a second opinion before you agree to anything.
