Worst experience ever. (Be careful) I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent AC repair service provided on my vehicle at your establishment. I entrusted my car to your team expecting a high standard of professional service, but unfortunately, the experience has fallen far short of my expectations. Despite my efforts to resolve the issue directly with Josh, the manager at Bill Tyson's, no resolution was reached. He insists that the compressor failure is unrelated to the evaporator repair, but I strongly disagree for the following reasons. - I initially brought my vehicle to your shop because the AC was not functioning properly, though I was unaware of the specific issue. - Your team took over two months to diagnose the problem, eventually identifying the evaporator as the cause. I was quoted approximately $2,000 for the repair, which I accepted. - The AC functioned briefly but stopped cooling again in less than a month. - Upon returning the vehicle, I was informed that the compressor had failed, with another $2,000 repair required. - Additionally, this unresolved AC issue has diminished the value of my vehicle. When I attempted to sell the car, the buyer reduced their offer by $2,000 due to the faulty AC system. Concerns: - Questionable Original Repair: I am concerned that the compressor issue may have been missed, misdiagnosed, or even caused by the initial repair. - Financial Impact: The unresolved AC issue has not only resulted in additional repair costs but has also directly reduced the market value of my vehicle by $2,000. Given these circumstances, I find the response from Josh, Bill Tyson's manager, unsatisfactory. His insistence that the compressor failure is unrelated to the evaporator repair raises concerns about the thoroughness and accuracy of the service I received. read more

My restored '81 CJ-7 was stalling at lights and slow speeds. Third shop I tried was with Will at Bill Tyson Boca. They communicated better than any shop I've ever been to. They stuck to their prescribed company procedures instead of ever winging it and that discipline instilled great confidence. We worked through multiple solutions which always took my inout completely into account rather than disregarding the opinions of me as a layman. They picked up on and stuck with the things that were important to me. Most importantly they never took for granted that this issue, which was not always easy to replicate, was resolved just because they had followed through on a repair plan and wanted to get the car out of their shop. Instead they tested incessantly even waiting until outdoor temperatures returned to hot conditions to replicate the problem as it had been experienced. It has been retuned to me in perfect condition and I look forward to some pleasure cruise testing. I will absolutely go back to then with and and every auto issue i have. thank you for the great experience guys. you dont realize perhaps how rare your standard of operations is, but believe me. it is well above the norm. read more

My GMC Terrain had the front axel fail and left me stranded on the side of the road. The vehicle was towed to Bill Tyson's Auto in Boca and dropped off after 6pm. The next morning Josh called around 8:30 and I informed him of the failure. He said they would inspect and call me back. Within and hour he informed me the axel was indeed not functioning and they would begin repairs immediately. By 2:30 that SAME day, my GMC was fully repaired and ready to go. WOW. Hopefully, my review will help someone else!~ Basically, I'm satisfied at 4 hours after getting over TEN YEAR OLD~ 2005 Ford Explorer returned! This vehicle I initially looked to trade or sell this vehicle! However, getting only $1500 for a trade-in vehicle & or buying a totally new vehicle for $10,000 to $15,000, somehow didn't make a lot of economic sense! So just like home make over's, I bit the bullet, & invested $3800 to have Mike & his Mechanic restore my truck to a better operating condition! Had them look at my 2112 ford fusion for an ac problem After fully checking it out it turned out to be the compressor which for a hybrid is extremely expensive Fortunately, the one I had installed by another shop in April was under warranty Josh and I talked about the options and after all the diagnostics testing and troubleshooting was only charged a small labor fee When the replacement arrives I would not even consider taking to any place but there Thorough and professional are the best way to describe this shop Highly recommend them for your auto repairs read more

What I really liked is that they were willing to pick up my car for me. That's a great service most auto shops don't have. My Crossfire was draining the battery within two or three days. These guys figured out a problem with the TPM module and replaced it, but there was still a (smaller) draw. Then they replaced the ignition switch and that solved it. This is hard type of issue to figure out. Also this is a low-volume car, built in Germany with Mercedes parts, so many mechanics don't understand it. I am very pleased with the work, and the price. Adam was friendly and communicative. These guys are great! We drove our son's car down from Connecticut so he could have it at FAU. We hit some truck tire retread that knocked loose the front bumper and splash guard underneath. We pulled in with no appointment and they fixed it right away for $20. Then our son had a transmission issue - fixed for $200. They also stored the car for us for several weeks (it was over Christmas break so our son was back home). No charge for the storage at all. These guys are on the level and we recommend them without hesitation! read more

My friend referred me to Bill Tyson and I can't thank him enough! I brought it to another shop prior and they had no clue what the issue was. Bill Tyson called me within an hour, called, texted & emailed me a quote for the work that needed to be done. They suggested other services but DID NOT PUSH ME to do them! I could never say enough good about this shop..they did an excellent job on my car made sure it done correctly...they went above and beyond to help me with my car repairs while I was visiting Florida, I had to fly home for medical reasons an go back weeks later for my car...never a problem exceptional customer service !! I brought in 2 of my vehicles for AC diagnostics and repair. Per the diagnostics, one vehicle was just low on the refrigerant which was replenished and the other needed an evaporator - there was no cool air at all when I brought it in. Once repaired the air was so cool that the windows fogged with condensate. The service was very courteous, timely and the cost very reasonable.
