I was performing on a Saturday night & this was my first time playing in Dallas (I DJ). The whole staff was nice, really nice. They took care of me & everyone else on the bill. They have a nice patio out back with a high enough fence that no one could see me from the outside looking in. The place was spacious, I like how the tables were along the side wall while across is the bar + bar seating. In-between where the open floor sits the stage platformed high against a back wall. The sound was really good & they left the car garage looking doors up, which caught attention from those who were walking by outside. I enjoyed myself that night. I'll always come back, even when I'm not DJing. What I also enjoyed were the number of TVs on deck playing plenty of college football(this was the night of OU vs UT). That's a bonus for me when it comes to a bars + venues because I really like sports & to have options whenever it's present.

Everyone was either nice or just minded their own business. It's what you look for in a bar. They have a billiard table and the regular bar games available. If you get dance fever, they have a dancing floor for you to cut a rug and get down. Overall, it's a divey little bar that doesn't have overpriced drinks. You don't have to worry about a dress code and simply just enjoy your drinks.

Think I heard it holds about 400 people. There's a bar in the back, and a bar to the side of the stage, so it was pretty easy to get a drink at all times (important!). I can't really comment about the sound because the Buzzcocks played LOUD, but I enjoyed it, even when I went deaf. The opening band wasn't really my cup of tea, so we all went out to the patio. A huge patio at that. It was fun looking at the Dallas skyline and watching the hoochie mama's below going to the Pittpull concert. Hello silicone, but I digress. I didn't really mind paying $4.50 for weak cocktails, or $4 for Shiner, even when it was poured in a plastic cup. The bathroom attendant was so unnecessary, though. Is she always there? There are only two bathroom sinks, and we were at a punk show ferfucksake. Any who. I felt the venue was solid for what it does, and the fact that I was able to get so close to punk legends sealed the deal.

The bartenders can get busy, especially between sets, but don't worry they'll get to you. Between sets take a breather on their awesome balcony. Take some pics with your friend/significant other with the Dallas skyline. With all these positive marks you would expect a 5 star review. Sadly, the band line up is pretty limited. He's also opening up a dance-y type club next door and he let us get a sneak peak of the construction.
