This place is cool, it is your basic neighborhood bar. The bartender was great and attentive. It wasn't busy at all, so maybe that helped. I had been here once before for a couple of beers, but this time I had quite a few more and the bill racked up. I like this place a lot, it has pool tables and a little area in the back to lounge and even a back patio for you smokers. The only thing is that the beers aren't cheap at all. Honestly, at one point this was my favorite bar to go to. The staffing has changed over the years and I'm only familiar with the one of the bartenders last night. I went in and ordered two beers from Leny. When he found out, I didn't have a tab open but had been drinking there he took the beers that he handed me back. I had to tell another employee about the situation so I can get served. After last night I will not go back. If you want better service go to PHD or Cannons Conner. This bar is very inconsistent with their service. My friends and I ordered the same drink and we got different sized and shaped cups. When we brought it up, the bartender said it depends on who the bartender is. No apologies whatsoever from the manager. On another instance, the bartender gave us back our checks and cards except for mine. I asked and he claimed he gave it to me. No one could find it and someone ended up with access to it and used it to buy things online. It was found under a chair near the bar area/POS system. I was yelled at by the male bartender and never received an apology from him or the managers. The female bartenders apologized for him and said he was known for being a jerk. The one plus about this place is that they do allow outside food since they don't offer any foods. There is a game area but it's almost always occupied. The women's restroom is at least decent but there is almost always a line. Some of the customers are rude and pushy. Some sketchy people will hang out here so do make sure to keep your belongings on you at all times. Make sure to see that you get the best bartender by watching because apparently how and what they serve your drinks on varies by bartender. read more
