Hidden Gem for Late-Night Cocktails & Live Music I stumbled upon this place by chance, and it turned out to be a great little gem for a late-night cocktail and live music. The overall vibe was really good, chill yet lively and I loved the aesthetic and atmosphere. The staff were friendly, and the bartender made me a sweet and spicy rum cocktail that was honestly really good. The band that night had great energy and definitely brought the vibes. The only downside for me was that the sound system was a bit too loud. It was hard to carry a conversation or even hear the bartender, so I ended up typing my drink order on my phone. The music itself was great, just a little overpowering for the space. Drinks were reasonably priced, though there was a $6 upcharge for the live band, which brought my total for one drink to just over $20. It would've been nice if that fee was mentioned upfront, especially since it doesn't go to the bar staff. I can't recommend Revelers Hall enough! If you are into live music, especially jazz, this is the place for you! We had no idea it was here but just happened to hear an incredible big brass band playing. There wasn't anywhere to sit because it was fully packed inside and out, so we just loitered around a bit. The server came by to check on us anyway and after a bit we snagged a seat and ordered some beers and food. I was expecting the food to be average bar grub given the focus on the music, but it was actually delicious! The flatbread was really good and the cheese fries were to die for. Note - there is a small $5 charge for the music that helps the business pay for some good talent. It's totally reasonable. It's hard to understand how you could give Reveler's Hall less than 5 stars. The music is OUTSTANDING and it's $6 per table. We also love Scat Jazz Lounge but the tickets end up being around $20 a person. Reveler's Hall is a STEAL for live jazz. It's also hard to understand why people go here who don't love jazz. I'm consistently annoyed by obnoxious groups standing in the way, talking over the band, and just generally acting like idiots when there is exceptional music being played live 10 feet in front of them. If there's any reason to deduct a star, it's for the patrons, not the bar. We aren't late night folks, so we really appreciate the opportunity to see live music during the day on weekends or early in the evening on Fridays. Great happy hour too! I have never left a one star review in my life. I did not get food so, I cannot comment on their kitchen. This is a reflection of the service. I went on Wednesday night with a few of my coworkers. We had a lovely table on the patio outside. As we were all showing up it took about 15-20min between each person to order a beer in which we had to flag her down. A few of us left early due to the service being so poor and my table got frustrated and tired. Myself and 2 others stayed behind looking for my friend's credit card. About 30min passed and he notified our waitress that she still had his card. She said she had given all our cards back which was not true because she had not even closed out myself or my other friend yet. After about another 20min she came back and returned his card with no apology. My other friend and I reminded her we asked for our tab. It took another 20min only for her to give us a closed out tab with the incorrect card. Again, we had not even received our tab. She took so long agin to re-appear my friend walked around the restaurant trying to find the owner of the card we received. Finally we walked to the bar to request our tab again. I saw her taking a shot behind the bar and it now everything made sense but I still needed to get home. She finally came out and gave us another closed out tab with no card. I had realized she had put the rest of our drinks on one of our friend's card that had already left. I questioned why she did that and she said because we were suppose to give her all our cards in the beginning. Her responses were mildly incoherent and didn't add up. I was exhausted and not interested in fighting the fight and leaving everything as is. I was a server for 3 years and I understand being over capacity or having fun behind the bar. This was so bad it was almost comical. I really doubt every other server is as this incompetent. I am sure all the good reviews are well deserved. This was sadly my experience. To end on a positive note, sitting outside in this adorable strip with quality live music is really a great experience. The band was amazing! read more

Very crowded but that's expected on a Saturday evening. No service on the floor so one needs to go to the bar and wait and wait and wait to get the bartenders' attention. The Old Fashioned cocktails I had were good as was the jazz duo that popped in while I was there. The place isn't huge so it probably fills up fast. Also, if there is scheduled live music playing while you are there, note you will likely be charged a cover (usually $5) on your tab. My girlfriend got the Bees Knees and I got the cheesecake while listening to the music. The Bees Knees: 4/5. She said it was fairly good, just not very strong. Flavor is unique and worth trying. Cheesecake: 3/5. The slice was okay, not much flavor behind the cheesecake that was served with a potent brown sugar side. However, I don't think this establishment really focuses on the cheesecake as the main selling point.
