Me and my girlfriend came here towards the end of our night. We came pretty close to closing time, so we weren't here for long. We had a drink each and then took some pictures of the view and then made our way out. The view is really nice. Definitely worth visiting for the view. It has a great view of Downtown Dallas's skyline. Other than that, that's probably it. Drinks are pretty expensive. I think we paid like $40 for two drinks. While we were there, the staff is just cleaning up and putting everything away, so we didn't really enjoy it. Just felt like we were being rushed to get out of there. Other than that, it's a decent place to grab a drink. I'm sure it gets pretty packed during the weekends, it was a Monday when we went.

We stayed at the Canvas hotel, and went to the Gallery Lounge for dinner before going to the event we had planned for later. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. There are several cool pieces of art inside, but we decided to seat outdoors to enjoy the sunset by the rooftop pool. There was also a fire pit that was lit when started getting dark. We ordered lemon pepper chicken strips and a spinach and tomato flat bread. The food was ok. My fiancée ordered a margarita that was $19. We enjoyed our evening and didn't really mind the overpriced drinks

The bar tender will have you feeling amazing in no time lol. The drinks were great, views are beautiful and hopefully you come on day without a huge crowd.

Chill little lounge with a nice vibe just outside of downtown Dallas. The rooftop has some sweet views of the skyline and is a welcoming atmosphere for anyone local, or visitors looking for a chiq spot in the city. Wish there was a bit more seating availability - it's kind of hard to hang out with a decent size group, but would work great for little parties or a romantic date night. I wasn't able to check out the entire menu, but we ordered the beef nachos tasted amazing! Definitely would recommend to anyone in the area or new to town for drinks and vibes. The Gallery is casual, calm, and trendy for all walks of life.

The vibe of this place is so great! Great drinks, beautiful views, and it's trendy yet classy. But I thought bartenders are supposed to be friendly and bubbly? Right after my friend and I got our bill, I grabbed my calculator out on my phone to give this bartender a 20% tip and I guess the bartender thought I was taking too long and rudely said to the other bartender that me and my friend needed to 'Get the f*ck out of here and go home.' I don't know her name, but here's a photo I have of her that I got on accident while I was taking a video of the place earlier in the night.

Loved my drink! We showed up too late for food. I've drank at many places across the DFW but $15 a drink? It could've been a little more strong. The service was slow due to it only being one guy and the pool was VERY BUSY. However, he was amazing and still took his time helping me. He said he created the drink I ordered but I definitely modified it! I Can say the ambiance was great and I'll be back in the future but next time, I'll have a few drinks in the car!

Open during Covid, and a welcoming place even for children to swim, I love the vibe of this rooftop lounge. I'll be honest though, a custom cocktail like a blueberry margarita, will set you back $20. Almost all of the cocktails here are between $15-$25. But the bright side is that you can recline on a nice sofa in a cabana-like setting with cream colored drapes blowing in the winds, while overlooking the city of Dallas across an infinity pool.

Service:3/5 Environment: 5/5 Food/drink: 3/5 This may be my favorite view of the dallas skyline. Everything else is okay, but it absolutely is the place to go for a good view in nice weather!

Nice place, casual vibe with upbeat EDM & hip-hop. Not too loud so you can enjoy a drink and hear yourself think. Atmosphere is top notch, and drinks are reasonable all things considered.

The view ain't so bad up here.

Dallas' skyline is the best in Texas (and that's tough for me to say as a former Houstonian). When looking for a place to imbibe, there aren't many places with a view like this to match. We visited the lounge last week. Drinks were potent and priced as you'd expect for an upscale environment. Music was on point (def appeals to Gen Y and younger). The only complaint I had was the winter weather (can't wait to sample the infinity pool during the spring/summer). Order the Blood, Sweat and Tears cocktail (I think that was the name... had a few... lol) and thank me later.

This will fit the bill if you're looking specifically for a rooftop bar in Dallas. However, it won't blow you away by any means. The city skyline is about all that's impressive about this. I'm sure during the day, hotel guests enjoy the rooftop infinity pool area, but it's overall small and leaves some to be desired. The footprint of the outdoor area is small, almost too small, while the inside bar area is reminiscent of a club. It would have been much cooler had the design from downstairs in the Nylo hotel been brought up to the rooftop. Instead, the vibe is easily replicated and doesn't stand out among the many other bars, rooftop or otherwise, on the Dallas city limits. The area of town is a bit sketchy. It was difficult to find parking on the street, or in a nearby lot that didn't have towing signs plastered everywhere. Anywhere that doesn't make it easy to access already loses points in my book, and when the atmosphere isn't up to par, it likely won't be receiving a re-visit. I assume hotel guests are the primary patrons, but the place has potential to be a public hot spot, especially among millenials thirsty for a good view (no pun intended). The drink specials weren't anything to special, and the service was difficult to judge seeing as we were some of the only people up there (perhaps there's a reason for this). The emptiness was certainly a red flag since the view was as picturesque as it was.

Drinks are overpriced but they're very good. The roof has a beautiful view of Downtown Dallas. Great for a date night.

Overall: 2.6/5 [dine in]…read more The place is nice, but smaller than expected. They had bubble guns too, which was a fun surprise. We came in near closing time, but Emilia provided us great service and stayed attentive even though they were clearly packed. We were seated at a table near the door, and unfortunately it had a vomit smell. Whatever it was, my friend could not stand it and had to get up and step away from the table. We first thought the culprit was the paper drink coasters, but then the staff removed the door mat near us later on, so maybe someone puked on it and the smell lingered, even after it was cleaned up. Clear Mizu ($16): This has Sakura vermouth and bitters, so we ordered it. It tasted like straight up gin and was not good. It was actually one of the rare times my husband could not finish his drink. Kyoto Sunset ($15): This one wasn't bad and tasted like honeydew. The ingredients include honeydew Calpico, so that makes sense. Johnny Walker Black ($16): This was our friend's drink, which I think was just coke and Johnny Walker. Nothing special about the taste either. Given the smell and so-so/terrible cocktails, we will not be coming back or taking our friends here.
