This one is located next to the Colonialtown Park Center/playground and Ferncreek Elementary School. This is another step forwards in the continued popularity of Community Gardens and urban agricultural green spaces in the Orlando Metro area. This is a mixture of local residents and an after school program that helps with educational activities. Love that. It's very active and full at the moment but don't hesitate to reach out if you want to get involved.

It seems like there are different events held here so if you go try to arrive early as there are limited paid parking spots around it. I was full immediately after. Lol The ramen cups were metal with cute artwork. I also enjoyed the fresh lime sugarcane juice. The potstickers were made fresh and was flavorful. We would have wished to enjoyed the event without worrying about parking lot issues and the size of the event. I would recommend a new location that has parking available. Some people paid 20 bucks and some risked getting towed to park for this event.

i had a great time walking around this garden located in winter park. there was a wedding…read morehappening, a family gathering elsewhere by the river, & the whole space was buzzing w/ summer energy. there is a whole area of the garden i have yet to explore but good thing is - it's free! i was a little lost on the map, it would have been nice to have a more clear distance gauge because some of the lines look like the trail is super long when in reality it's not and just the placement of buildings/parking too. i'll be back to conquer that map !! or maybe i'll stay a while and smell the roses.

There's direct sun, water and a fence to protect you from large animals (deer) but the birds, rabbits and smaller critters find their way in. I miss it - was part of the garden off and on since 2009 and left in 2017, sadly prime soil and raised beds as well as accessories will benefit the other gardeners as there was no more room in the moving truck!

Amazing!! Lake…read moreApopka Wildlife Drive is a very fun, enjoyable and informative experience. Scan the QR code at the park entrance where you can listen to information through your car speakers about the park. It takes about 1.5 hours or longer depending on crowd and how often you stop. There are some restrooms along the way so plan accordingly. The scenery is absolutely amazing. Ton of bird, wild life, plants and definitely gators along the way.

Sure, it's a scenic drive. We saw plenty of beautiful landscapes and some animals (mainly a few…read morealligators and plenty of birds). We even saw some large Florida Bass swimming near the shoreline. However, you will need plenty of patience making this "loop" when stuck behind selfish narcissistic idiots. What do I mean, being such an ass with that statement? When fools stop their vehicle every 10 yards and stay put for 5 to 10 minutes staring at yet another alligator, whose cousins they did the same to just moments earlier is an example. There were plenty of opportunities for these "lead" cars to use a turnout, or even pull to the right along a majority of this one way road, to allow others who might not be as enamored (or selfish) to pass by. Or how about the POS that stopped in the middle of the road, thus preventing anyone from passing (which they could have had he pulled to the right or left), only to get out of his car with his camera and 20 inch zoom lens so he could spend 10 minutes snapping a few photos. Sadly, for him and myself, I was stuck about 10 cars back and unable to give him a piece of my mind. And as others have pointed out - one way in and one way out. If you need to take a leak during this 3 hour "adventure" you are SOL. I can't even imagine what would happen if your vehicle sadly broke down or ran out of gas. I am not trying to discourage anyone from taking this scenic route, but be prepared (take drinks and snacks in case you get stuck in a conga line 30 cars deep). As for us - one and done! Let's see if I ever take the person's, who bragged about this cruise, recommendation again. I'd be hard pressed let's say. There are way too many (not a bad thing) beautiful scenic drives and hikes in this great State. Again, have patience if choose to take this excursion; or a sedative.

It is a good place to bring kids to as there is a playground for them to play on. Parks serve as a gathering spot for communities, it is a place where we can interact with our neighbors, a place to celebrate the joy of family and friends. We need parks such as this one, we need places to remind us that it is the simple things that define us as a people and a community. Englewood Park is a great part of this community.

Parking holds about a dozen cars with a small grassy area that can hold several more as I have seen people do for parties. Although there is not a pavilion here, families do have parties here as there are many concrete tables, grills, benches and a lot of play equipment for children. For the big kids, there is enough large grassy area for football or other large group activities. What is nice, is that there is a lot of shade provided by the many large cypress that have obviously been here a long time. A sidewalk winds its way through the park. There is one water fountain, and a dog depot with bags for doggie waste. There is a porta potty, but no free standing bathroom. A nice, large shady park for an afternoon, party, or some football.
