The ambiance of the waiting room is very calming and I love their decor. They have soft spa music playing and a tea station. One of the staff members took me into a room to do a few intake tests. I changed into a gown and she provided privacy while I did so. She tested my back with these probes to see where I had inflammation and did a stress response test. Then I was taken to another exam room to see Dr. Burk. She is very energetic and explains things well in detail. She asked me a few background questions first about my medical history, any past injuries and previous chiropractic history. I showed her a few reports of prior imaging that I've had done before. After that we did my adjustments and she explained along the way what she saw and what the treatment was that she was doing. She accommodated my belly with a special pillow so that I could lie flat face down for my back adjustment and protect baby. She used a certain equipment that let her adjust my spine without putting that much pressure. My primary reason for coming was to have better hip alignment to prepare me for delivery in a few months. Overall I really enjoyed my first visit here. I'll have to see how my body adjustments do to say how often I will come. They do not take insurance, so everything is self-pay but it was worth it. The first exam is always going to be the most expensive and the subsequent visits will be a little cheaper. They do offer prenatal massages here as well, but IMO a little too pricey.

Bellaire Airrosti love you…read more Dr Alex is amazing. I had the stiff neck really really bad and day one I felt so much better and I must say the exercises were a bit painful in the beginning. But, as my muscles loosened everything felt much better. Three visits and all is great. I'm truly amazed. He even checked in on me to see how I was feeling. I'm happy that's this office opened close to my home and my office. Thank you so much

After three back surgeries over a course of nearly 30 years and frequent relapses into the hell of…read moreback pain, I thought that I had exhausted all modalities of treatment. But on the recommendation of a good friend who is a trainer of men and women "of a certain age", I decided to give Airrosti a chance to address my back problems. My antennae were up when I learned that Airrosti practitioners are chiropractors. My experience with chiropractors in the past two decades had resulted in aggravation to the injuries for which I'd sought treatment. I was reluctant to subject myself to skeletal manipulation and the recent fad amongst chiropractors-the drop table. I was able to get in to see Dr. Escamilla at the Bellaire, Texas Airrosti location. Dr. E explained to me the way in which Airrosti therapy differs from conventional chiropractic treatment and remedies available through orthopedic surgeons, neuro surgeons and other practitioners of mainstream medicine. If you are suffering from an ailment that is bone related, it will likely show up on X-ray or an MRI. What isn't visible through radiography is damage to soft tissue, i.e., muscle, fascia, ligaments and tendons. My diagnosis from radiography was that there was nothing visible to which my incapacitating pain could be ascribed. My debilitating pain was not psychosomatic. Even an M.D. with the highest credentials couldn't ascertain what the cause was. Based on my symptoms and the way I winced when when he touched me in areas that hurt, Dr. Escamilla said that my suffering was likely from deep muscle and fascia strain. There is one modality of treatment which no conventional physician charged with the curing of patients seems to use, other than to diagnose- be it enlarged prostate or a lump in the breast or elsewhere. That is touch. The manipulation of a painful part of one's body by hands that are trained to address maladies is beneficial for those who may be suffering from them. Airrosti employs the simple modality of touch to diagnose and treat pain. There's no cutting or popping or sticking or flopping one's body on a drop table for noise, smoke, mirrors and zero effect. I left Dr Escamilla's office in less pain and, most importantly, with renewed hope that after many dollars, many pain shots, bottles of pills that stupefied me, there is hope that my severe pain might finally be beneficially addressed.

I don't…read moreleave many reviews but felt compelled after reading the only other yelp review for her, where I think it was just a bad fit for the reviewer (who also left terrible reviews for a bunch of other alternative providers, including one she described as a being a friend). My experience with Dr. Henry has been 100% positive. Within a month of her treatment, including adjustments, multi-sensory exercises, and supplements, my second grade son's learning disabilities were significantly improved. He went from reading cartoons, when forced to read something for school, to devouring the entire Harry Potter series over the next six months. He made a giant leap in maturity level, and there were big improvements in his outlook and behavior. His treatment lasted a little more than a year with the last half just being monthly check ins. He is now in tenth grade and has continued his academic success in advanced placement programs. Dr. Henry has also treated me for chronic shoulder pain and two sprains. In each instance, I had tried other treatments (medical doctors, massage, etc). Her adjustments, supplements, and exercise recommendations helped me heal where other approaches gave just temporary relief, if anything. She does use urinalysis, x-rays and blood tests to help with diagnosis...they are part of her holistic approach. She has always answered any questions I have had about test results. The first visit does cost more because it's more extensive and part of diagnosing the big picture of a patient's issues. Subsequent visits are reasonably priced. My family is self-employed and our insurance is terrible, so we pay everything out of pocket. Dr. Henry has, by far, given us the most value for the great outcomes. I highly recommend her functional neurology approach, particularly for stubborn issues that have not been solved with more conventional treatment.

She has brought tremendous relief to my family and me over the years for several issues. I recommend her without hesitation. I referred 7 friends to her that were told they MUST have surgery. One had to have his wife make a pallet in the back of their Suburban to get him to her office. He played in a gold tournament three weeks later. Secondly, I went in for a massage today. The middle massage room was so suuuuper loud. I was in the last room with Rachelle. While I'm trying to relax and enjoy my massage, the therapist next door ( I think it may have been the middle room). I could hear them laughing and cracking up like they were on a date at the comedy club. Um hello, I'm here trying to relax, not trying to hear people flirt with their clients and having a full conversation for the whole hour. Totally inappropriate. I almost wanted to get up naked and knock on their damn fort to tell them to shut it. Where is the manager or owner of this place? And why are they allowing this to happen.? Def not a relaxing environment. And bc of the loudness Next door I have to give it 3 stars.

When I got there the whole place was very odd. Not very clean, old and shabby. The room they put me in was terrible, there was a camera with tape over it and literally an exit door to the street covered with sheet. The woman that did my massage made me feel EXTREMELY uncomfortable. She was very unprofessional in the way they she touched me to point that I had to cut the massage short and basically stormed out of there. This lady was groping me and caressing me, and when I looked up the say something her eyes were closed and she was making very strange sounds. I immediately asked her to leave. Got dressed and ran. When I went to leave the receptionist was gone, the lights were out and the front door was locked. I was scared for my life. She eventually let me out. I felt violated. Please DO NOT GO HERE. That women is a predator. She also didn't have a mask on.
