Unless you want to pay through the nose, don't use the EV charger at Petersen Auto. I did a partial charge of my car, and was billed $110. As opposed to the normal $22 or so at a normal EV charging spot. I guess they can charge you whatever they want since they're the only game in town. Second time working with sales rep Levi Ketchum. He's super knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Levi goes above and beyond in finding all the options I want in a vehicle. As for dealing with the contract guy, not a great experience. Low balled me on my trade in, no wiggle room on price of my new vehicle unless I agreed to purchase the extended warranty. (Further proof the dealership extended warranty is over priced). After I turned down the extended warranty a second time within ten minutes, he was clearly irritated and short with me. Rushed me through the paperwork and stated, "Anything happens with the truck when you leave, we are not responsible ". My husband and I were in the area on a camping trip when our head gasket blew on our jeep. The guys at Petersen Chrysler Dodge and Jeep were amazing! Their repair shop messed up a recall repair which resulted in transmission failure. The dealership would not provide a loner vehicle while they made additional repairs to correct the previous inept maintenance. I have very low confidence in this dealership and no longer use them. read more

Took car in because I was getting a low tire pressure warning and they took care of that problem quickly. Made an appt. for an oil change and that was also done in a timely manner. Staff is very friendly. read more

My 2012 Ram 1500 was throwing code p1524. Oil pressure out of range. They diagnosed and determined the oil sending switch was bad and changed it. I left and light came back on about 20 miles down the road throwing same code! I called Petersen and talked to Jim the service manager ( rudest person I've ever met with any business!) talked down to me and was extremely rude! I called Brickners Ram dealer in Wausau. I told them what The code was my truck was throwing. They told me the first place they check is if I've got an oem oil filter on which I didn't due to taking my truck to a local oil change lube shop. Took it to Brickners Ram dealer in Wausau for $56 oil and oem filter change which fixed my issue! I don't recommend Petersen Ram dealer in Waupaca to work on a bicycle! I've never been treated so poorly by any business!!!! Do NOT take your vehicle here! They will take you for thousands if you let them then talk down to you like you're stupid! read more
