We stopped at several other places and either they couldn't find the problem or weren't willing to help. We had a Chevy Tahoe that was 2 days old and as soon as we called Jacob, he said come on in. Not only did they fix it but every person on their staff went out of their way, including staying late. The owner, Patrick, was committed to helping and even visited with us to make sure if they could fix it they would. Can't thank them enough! SO very disappointed with this dealership. They take advantage of people especially if they are young. My poor niece was scammed by this dealership with purchasing a vehicle that they agreed they would repair the damages that were notated but failed to do in a timely manner and played like they never said that until proof of paperwork was brought in. Never actually licensed the car!! paid for it but never sent in the paperwork which caused my niece to be pilled over and advised that her plates have been expired. At the end of March 2024, my husband's truck was towed to this collision center due to an accident. It was towed there as a non-running/non-moving vehicle and they knew that right from the beginning. My husband's truck is still sitting there and has not been worked on as of today (May 6, 2024). They are just now having a Ford technician come look at it because it's a non-running/non-moving vehicle. Why the fuck was this not done way back when the truck was first towed there?!?!?!?!?! The people at the repair shop knew right from the beginning that the truck was non-moving/non-running!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And they tell him that they don't have any loaner vehicles for him. Why? How is he supposed to get back and forth to work? My sister in law is our insurance agent and I will be recommending that she file a complaint against the repair shop and get them off their preferred auto repair shop list so nobody else has to deal with idiots like the ones that are running this "shop". Edit: Yesterday (May 10, 2024), we stopped in to the collision center to get an update (because they are very shotty at communicating with us). My husband spoke with the manager of both the collision center and the dealership. Last night around 9pm was the very first time they have ever reached out to us to let us know what was going on. Apparently they need more parts so now it'll take another few weeks. This whole situation is incredibly aggravating. Update: Yesterday (June 3, 2024) the shop told my husband his truck is all ready to pickup. Yay, right?? NOPE!! #1) They put the wrong license plate on it. #2) They didn't fix the emblem. #3) He just noticed today that his A/C doesn't work. So back into the shop it goes. I live 40 miles north of Stevens Point Auto. In traveling back from out east I had a loud noise develop from one of my wheels while coming into Stevens Point. We purchased a car from Scafiddi Auto a number of years ago so I drove in on Saturday morning. Luckily the Service Dept was open, I explained my situation to Matt, he asked if they could have the vehicle for a while and I agreed. My wife picked me up and I left the truck there. Monday morning I got a call from Matt saying it was a minor issue and the vehicle was repaired. A pleasant call, I expected much worse. Now they could have said it was many things that would have been more expensive, but they did not. They were honest, which as you know is not always the case. My daughter bought a car back in April. Had it for less than a month and it left her stranded. They "reset" it (their words) and she got it back a month later. 2 weeks later it broke down again. They were going to "reset" it again and told her that WHEN it broke down again they could get the ball moving to replace the engine. In the end we found out that the engine that was currently in it WAS a replacement engine. We returned the car and purchased a different car and spent an extra $12,000. Total was $34,000. Less than 6 weeks later that car broke down and needs a new motor. She bought the extended warranties on both cars. They are now trying to charge her over $1500 more to replace the engine AND she will be without a car for up to 8 weeks. They are wanting to also charge her $38 a day for a loaner vehicle!! I would also like to add that I don't think anyone that works there knows how to use the company phones. No one can seem to make out going calls to return voice mails. Do not buy a car from here. What a piss poor service visit. I'm from out of town and needed a simple oil change and tire rotation. I should have just left when the service advisor thought the vin plate had been scratched out because he was looking at an old sticker in the door jam. I had to show the ford service advisor where the vin plate was on a f350? Then the oil change window reminder they left told me to next change at 50,882 miles. My truck has nearly 161,000 miles. Hmmm, not that helpful. Then the tire rotation they charged me for didn't happen. I know this because the tires were marked. Because of these things I hated doing business with Stevens Point Ford service. Don't go there unless you don't care about basic details and paying for services not rendered. read more

My husband and I started car shopping maybe a month ago. We are fairly new to Stevens Point and are adjusting to what options are available here in town as far as dealerships. There are several good choices but, we definitely lack some of the higher end vehicle dealerships here (Infiniti, BMW, Mercedes, etc.) We were considering something different this time around. We were struggling a bit to narrow down what kind of car I liked. As a mom of two I'm used to having 3 rows and a larger vehicle. Growing up and living in Southern California for the majority of my life, once I upgraded to an SUV that sits higher (making visibility much better than sitting in a car), I definitely didn't want to go back to a car or even a 5 seater. We saw an SUV and unfortunately, when we emailed and called Scaffidi, it was in the process of being purchased already. Tim was my salesman and Don had also helped us a bit while we were at the dealership and through email. Anyhow, we test drove two vehicles but ended up not being WOW'ed over them. My overall impression of Tim and Don though was WOW. They genuinely cared about helping me find MY car. It wasn't that first day though. I wasn't rushed to buy something I didn't click with. I test drove another car at another dealership and the vibe wasn't the same. Unfortunately, the salesman wasn't as warm, seemed a little stiff. I liked the vehicle I test drove but the trade in for my car was a low ball offer and it made my overall impression of that experience stale. I found myself wanting to buy from Scaffidi because they cared and were knowledge. To make a long story short, we saw a vehicle pop up online over the weekend. I emailed Tim about the car and to my relief, he responded about the vehicle. I was able to test drive it Monday he made things happen for me! I found MY car! I love it, am super happy with my experience with Scaffidi. My trade in offer was beyond fair and they skipped all the hassle of what makes buying a car stressful. They didn't jerk us around. Buyer beware. Spent 50k on a 3yr old F-150. Their ad said 1-owner, clean history vehicle. I went in on a Saturday and purchased it. Corey the salesman was friendly and knowledgeable. Got it home and my insurance company got the truck info and gave me a copy of car fax. It had 3 owners and an accident, far from 1 owner clean history. Left the salesman several messages and a few emails and no response back. I wanted to know what they were going to do to make it right. I would not have paid 50k for a 3 owner vehicle with accident history. It wasn't until I emailed the owner of the dealership (his email is on their website) that I got a call back. I explained to the salesman what was going on and he said it was out of his area of control so to speak and need to speak to his boss who was out on vacation. He told me he'd be back in 3 days and would contact me right away. Fast forward 2 weeks and still nothing. Sent more emails to salesman and he said Greg should be calling me but I've yet to hear from him. I drove to this dealer from Green Bay because they had the truck I was looking for and I thought since they were a franchise ford dealer I was working with a reputable dealer but I was wrong. Be careful when dealing here and do your research because once you leave they are done wanting anything to do with you. Don't get screwed like I did. read more

Horrible customer service and sales team. I was looking for a Volkswagen atlas cross sport and reached out to the dealer. I was assigned a sales person Who was horrible and I felt that as a paying customer I was a burden to him. He had a lot of attitude and I had a horrible experience at this dealership. Not only this place wanted to fraudulently run my credit without my permission they gave me a horrible deal with the price much much higher then the manufacturers recommended MSRP and with a very horrible overpriced interest-rate. I wish I could give them zero stars however the minimum that I could give is only one star is too generous for these scammers. Are usually do not write reviews for any business however given my experience at this dealership I thought it would be best to write this review to warn other people not to do business with these scammers. This review is for both Scaffidi Motors (Sales department, not service side) and for the Scaffidi body shop across the street. I bought my vehicle brand new and in the contract, it was written I would receive free oil changes (was supposed to be 4 oil changes). I had some repairs that had to be made after someone vandalized my hood, so I went to the dealership, because who would know my car better right? Well, they did such a horrible job that my insurance company requested that they redo it, and they fix it right this time. They refused and actually paid Pat's CarStar to do it instead (who by the way did an amazing, flawless job). Meanwhile, I make an appointment for an oil change and I am informed they will no longer be providing me any oil changes. I informed them it was in my contract, and they said they don't care and they are not going to give me any more free oil changes. The sales manager informed the service department of this and I have not gone back since. I called and tried to discuss my contract and how they blatantly broke the contract only to be ignored by them. Never got a callback, and I will never go back either. HORRIBLE BUSINESS ETIQUETTE. I literally set this yelp account up because I have recently been getting a bunch of emails from Scaffidi after I had repeatedly stated I wish to no longer receive any emails from them again because I refuse to do business with a shady business like this. Keep pushing me, it's going so well for you. UPDATE: Received an email from a staff member of Scaffidi offering me my free oil change (over 2 years after it was denied to me). I received the offer for a free oil change with an apology, but also with a "This is the first time we are hearing of this issue" response. The apology was well worded and appropriate. I never write review, however after the visit last night to this dealership I am. We took our son who is looking to buy a used Jetta. We were meet in the parking lot by a sales rep, which was nice. This is when it went downhill fast. The rep did not know where the Jetta's were, okay no big deal they just came in to dealership. Once he found the blue Jetta we were interested in. We were told the car just went thought the shop an was in great condition and could be sold that night. We were like great, the car have some marks from other people, but you expect that from a used car. Our son was excited to buy his first car before leaving for the military. We were allowed to take the car on a test drive, after being told it was in great condition. He left the dealership, made a right turn and got on the interstate. The car front end started shaking at 55 mile per hour on the interstate. The car was not clean inside and it also had a brake issue. We got off the interstate at the next exit and took the back street to the dealership. We arrived back and told the salesman what had happened, he just said oh. This is after he said this car was in great condition and could buy that car. We also ask to look at the silver/grey one hoping it was better. We were told no that someone took it home and it would not be brought back till Friday and that they were closed at 5:30 on Thursday. I felt like he just wanted us to leave, so we did and won't be back. I guess sales to this dealership is not important nor is customers. We bought a Jetta last night from a dealership that values customers in Plover. They also had nice car to test driver that were safe and clean. Thank you Scaffidi Motors for crap service my son now realized the real world of buying a car. He nor anyone we know will ever shop your dealership. I took my car in for an oil change & was happy to have a free car wash, but as my car dried there were spots all over. It looks terrible, and I was glad the rain helped wash my car. Since my Focus was still under warranty, I took it there to check out a few things. I founf out that I needed a recall part and had them order it. It took months and writing to the Ford Corporate office to get the part and have it installed. The Corporate office was less than helpful, however. Anyway, the part finally arrived 3 months later and I took my car back. They did not do the "extras" that I had asked to have done in April, so I asked again. AGAIN, they were not done. One was to simply take the car for a test run to see why the acceleration was so rough. Both times, there were NO miles put on the car (I checked the mileage and it was also recorded by them), so they did not do as I asked twice. They had recorded the mileage at both sessions and they were both wrong. On the last session, they had less mileage than when it had originally been taken in. I would like to know how the mileage can go backwards - a good trick. Huh? On the first visit, I had them change the oil and rotate the tires. The tires were not rotated and there was no explanation as to why this was not done. They made comments on the paperwork that was returned to me, but did not explain what it meant or what I should do about it. My old company was very good abolut explaining everything! Scaffidi just works like an unfriendly assembly line when dealing with customers. The service department was unorganized and the staff that I dealt with seemed to have had no training. They could not even find the work order on the last visit! I will never buy another Ford product as long as I live in this area since this is the only Ford service center in the near vicinity. My Jetta was under a year old and both the dash lights and the tail lights were not working. I called Scaffidi and was told it would be a week before they could take a look at it. After I complained about not being able yo drive at night for a week they told me I could bring it up and leave it and they would try to look at it, but the made no promises. I asked about a loaner car and was told I would have to pay for it since VW does not.. I took it in a week later and after an hour and a half they could not find the problem and I was given a loaner car at no charge. Not sure why I could get one then and not originally so I could have driven at night. This is the first time I have gone to Scaffidi and I am not sure I would go back.
