When I first started shooting film I went here to get some film for the very first time, not knowing much about my camera or anything film related. I went in and got attention right away, I told them I didn't know how my camera worked but I wanted to get started. Josh explained to me the basics and what film is beginner level for me to get all my shots in the best quality. Everyone I've encountered is so informative and nice. Bills is great. Their film developing prices are on par with everyone else locally, but they seem to be a little faster with b&w than other places are. Nice selection of lens for older canons. Prints are great, especially black and white. Best part is the customer service. I come here because they will answer any questions, help anyway they can, and spend time with you. read more

I went back Recently and found a great deal on an 85mm Nikkor Tilt-Shift lens in perfect condition. A real treasure, and a great Price. Nice people . The worst film processing system ever. First they don't do contacts for 35mm or 120mm they offer a cd . Unfortunately the number on the CD and the frame on the film are from different worlds . I'm having to put my negs on a light table and figure out which frame i selected from the CD they gave me . So retarded. I wonder if anyone there ever shot a roll of pro film. Like i said .Nice guys. I'll be sending my film back to NY. read more

Waste of time, I bought a camera strap for my Cannon SX280HS and it lasted about 2 days, it broke on a vacation trip and luckily I was able to catch the camera before it dropped on the deck. The strap was so cheap the plastic line connecting it to quick release was so light it might have been better used on a flash drive not a nice camera. Went back to store and they blew me off, offered no credit or other assistance. I will never go back to them, they are less than 2 miles from my home. STAY AWAY-WASTE OF TIME! read more

I recently bought a new film camera and when I received it a was pretty bummed to find out it wasn't working. I went In thinking I would have to pay even more to get it fixed even though it was supposed to be guaranteed working. Turns out a screw was loose and I was in and out in 5 minutes. The guys were SO helpful they could have said that they could repair it for a crazy price but instead he told me that it would be almost the same amount to get an entirely new camera. Took my mom's old Rebel Canon XTi for a cleaning and some help with an error message. The staff there were very friendly and knowledgeable and were able to find the problems with the camera and the lens right away. They gave me a quote for the service and I left the camera and the lens with them. They called me ten days later and everything had been fixed, cleaned and restored perfectly. Bill's Camera has the best customer service that you will find anywhere. They treat everyone with respect, and give everyone great advice/information. Even if you are just going in to chat and ask questions, they treat you like you're buying everything in the store. The staff are very smart, and very knowledgeable. For the one hour type of photo processing they sometimes take a little longer, but they keep their machine calibrated perfectly. You get great results from them consistently. For photography students, Bill's is the best! They tell you what to buy, what not to buy, and will give you a student discount. I don't come here as often as I'd like anymore because it's far from where I live but back when I was constantly taking photos, I would ALWAYS go to Bill's to get my film developed. I also had an issue awhile with one of my cameras causing constant light leaks due to faulty padding (or something that I can't remember) - they told me it would take just about a week, but since I was leaving out of the state and wanted my camera in a few days, they said they would try the best they could! AAAAND they finished working on it the next day! It costed me around $50 and I received a quote from other stores saying it would be over $100 and could take up to 3 weeks. Thankful for Bill's Cameras and all the employees, I got to take my beautiful camera with me on my mini vacation to take photos of priceless memories. Thanks! read more

Great little shop! I recently had my lens serviced there, was told it would take 3 days (including Sunday) but I ended up needing it a bit earlier than quoted. Made a phone call and they had it ready when I needed it, no problems whatsoever. They're a small shop without a huge gear selection, but for service and hard-to-find vintage type stuff, they're my #1 go-to shop! BTW, Nikon quoted me $100 for the work to be completed in 6-8 weeks, Bill's was $45 in 2.5 days! read more
