I got my passport photos taken here and I just renewed my passport online and the photos passed on the first try. I think they turned out pretty well in the minor edits he made look good. The only annoying thing is you have to buy physical copies in order to get the digital copies - meaning you have to buy both, you can't just buy only digital even though online passport renewals only require the digital copy.
