I got my disposable camera photos developed here! If you bring it in before 1pm they have it ready by the end of the day. It took the a little bit longer for mine, but the owner was very kind and did his best to get my photos on time. My photos turned out beautifully, except for some that I should've used flash for (user error). The manager/owner was very friendly and even gave me some tips on how to get better photos next time which I appreciated since I have no experience with cameras haha. I'll happily be coming back in the future :) read more

Wow! It's always a gamble when you need a special printing job done, and I definitely hit the jackpot on this company! The finished product was better than I could've expected, especially since it was a photo from 1986! Sam was a great help to me as well.... very very patient. Have developed 2 rolls here and can say it's the unequivocal spot for development not only for value but also speed. No one and I've tried 7 have been able to replicate the speed this place puts out their scans and development with the resolution and customer service that this place does. Developed everything from normal c41 cinestill to og aetocolor iv. The value is good for 30mp at time of review and development going for 23 ish bucks after taxes and your negatives actually packaged rather than just left in the sleeves is a nice touch for the value. Overall very impressed and earns my top lab in the west coast even beating out Washington locations. read more

I had to write a review right away after receiving my files via email. I am amazed with my photos and their quality. They're gorgeous! This film lab produced excellent work in a short amount of time. Online people were claiming that the turn around time was very fast and I wasn't sure I believed them, but I dropped photos off at 10am and got an email at 4:30 to come pick my prints up. Fantastic film lab. I haven't used many but I've had around 10 rolls developed here. Prices are reasonable, scans are good, and it's all quite fast. And by fast I mean you get your scans the same day fast. (If you don't drop your film off too late in the day.) Customer service is is excellent too, one time they couldn't find my negatives. They said they'd keep looking and would call me if they found them. Turned out they misheard me about whether or not I wanted my negatives back. They were ready to comp me some lab fees and a roll of film but they went through the trash and managed to find it then sent me the negatives in the mail at no additional cost. They also do prints but I can't speak to those since I haven't gotten any yet. read more

So just days before xmas I called to see if a canvas enlargement of an iPhone photo I just received from my daughter was possible. I was also expecting it to be very blurry because I wanted it 36 x 24. Sam assured me it wouldn't be a problem. On xmas eve I called and was told it would be done by noon that day! I was still so worried it would be very blurry and pixelated at that size. I am not sure what kind of wizzardry they perform at Legacy but the canvas enlargement was incredibly accurate and a beautiful gift for my surfing daughter who was in the photo. I recently used a disposable camera at a music festival with friends. Wanted to find a spot that specialized in photography to get the film developed at rather than a chain store. I've used legacy twice now to print 5x7's and 8x10's and each time they have made really nice prints for me to frame. I have developed four rolls of film with these guys. I've heard horror stories about people developing through other companies. I was actually petrified to send my film off, and have it be lost within some big companies system. These guys are fantastic! I actually found them through TikTok. My go to spot for all my film! I tried out a few local spots and Legacy is by far the best! The staff are all super kind and my film is always developed to perfection. I love that they can do same day (if dropped off before 1pm) developing. If you miss the 1pm cutoff, you get your online photos next day via WeTransfer which is super easy to download. The staff will answer any questions you have about film or film photography - really great people. read more

This is my go-to spot for printing. I've printed 8x10s and 4x6s here and they always come out great. The quality is much better and more consistent than the local drugstore and the prices are better, too (at least for the larger sized prints). Service is always quick and friendly. The 8x10s are usually ready within a few hours but if you want to ensure fast service, there is even an option to rush for 2 hour service. It's easy to upload and pay on the web site, and pickup is fast since it's never crowded. read more

Meet the Business Owner: Sam Y.

Photographic imaging has always been a passion of mine. It's the perfect amalgam of my two loves for art and engineering. From the days of film and Photoshop 1.0 to todays powerful digital imaging technologies, the process of bringing images into our world never ceases to amaze me. Since we opened our doors 19 years ago, I've been fortunate enough to be part of this great industry and it's been hell of a ride! The digital revolution allows us to do so many things with our images now that were never possible before. We can now take an image from an iPhone and make incredible enlargements as large as 30x45. Images can be stylishly enhanced with graphics to make greeting cards and albums. Photos can be made into Canvas Gallery Wraps that look like they belong in a museum. Couldn't find one (digital photography had already started to take over, photo shops were a dying breed). Looked for one near my office and found the Enlarger on the web. Not knowing anything about them, I drove over to check out their facilities, hoping for the best. If you remember photo shops from back in the day, not all of them were good. Some only wanted to print 4" x 6" prints off your rolls. No single prints. No size changes. Some glossy only, some matte only. Others took forever. Some used 2nd rate paper. I go to a number of signing events and usually pre-plan and order my 8" x 10" photos on Shutterfly. Sometimes I can't wait a week to get my pictures. This was one of those occasions. I bring in my digital photo on a CD and Jim, the owner says, "Let's take a look!" We loaded my photo on to his Mac. While both of us looked at the screen, Jim helped me crop and adjust the color quality so that I knew what the photo would look like before he printed. Just three or four of my photos needed slight editing. He didn't charge extra for doing this (I still recommend that you edit your photos at home first). I dropped off my small order in the morning and received my 8" x 10" prints in the afternoon on the same day! Jim and his wife at the Enlarger have saved me a few times. The Enlarger is capable of doing digital editing, retouch and repair of old photos, and can even make a life size blowup cutout of you mounted on poster stock or foam core! I've only used them to print up some 8" x 10" photos. They use high quality paper and the color on the pictures were brilliant. I was told my backdrop couldn't be done in two days, I was told that my image's resolution was too small, and other printing shops never responded. Z from RedDot Printing responds within minutes. He told me the same thing about my backdrop's resolution being to low for a huge printout, but what set him apart was that he took the time send me an email on how fix it so that he can print it. Once I fixed the image with his advice he said, "I can get that done in two days." and he delivered! I placed the order midday on a Wednesday and it was ready for pickup by 2:00PM on Friday. Pick up was seamless. He knew exactly who I was without introducing myself, he was friendly, full of personality, and so sweet. He unrolled the backdrop to show me his work and it was PERFECT! His price was cheaper than I imagined especially since this was a last minute request. No, I am not a manager of a UPS Store, but I have worked in some form of customer service for several years, and I do know that if a customer arrives before the posted closing time, they should be treated with basic professionalism and respect. Closing early and then being rude to a customer who arrived during business hours is unacceptable. At minimum, this location should honor its posted hours and train its staff on how to handle customers respectfully.
