As a long, long time customer of Bill's, I used to be able to overlook the quality and consistency from them at times because it was one of the most affordable places on the island, but not anymore. A pick up order of 1 plain cheesesteak, 20 wings, and large order of fries cost me nearly $55. It was done very quickly -- 15ish mins on a holiday weekend, which tells me they aren't very busy. Everywhere else had a 45min-1hr wait time. The only decent thing were the wings. Crispy, not too big, tasted great. The cheesesteak was subpar. Hardly any meat on it compared to previous years, too salty for my taste, and the roll was not great either. The fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil. We will for sure go back for wings, but nothing else. read more

Awful! Wish I could leave zero stars. Just left there. I specifically asked what was on the Italian hoagie. The guy said ham, salami, and capicola. I got home and there were literally only 4 pieces of meat on the sandwich- 2 capicola and 2 salami. I called and said I was told something other than what I got and I was not happy and was hoping for someone to care. They didn't so I said I don't think I'll be back. They told me "ok" because apparently they don't care that a local was unhappy. On top of it when I called they said they were closed. It was 7pm on a Sunday and the eagles were in a playoff game and their website says they close at 8. This is ridiculous, what is wrong with people?? 10/10!! From the easy to navigate website, to the customer service, and food being delivered as if it was fresh out of the oven. Can't recommend this place enough. Second time ordering from Bill's. My husband actually told me to leave a review because his cheesesteak was so good. I rarely order cheesesteaks because I am always disappointed- but I'm glad I took a chance. I made a fairly annoying order (sorry!) and it was perfect. Hubby also had a chicken quesadilla he is raving about. Their potato salad is amazing and the delivery was faster than expected. We love this spot for breakfast sandwiches! My family has been going here for years and I never understood the hype till we moved down here. For a little corner deli they have a lot to offer. I live within walking distance of this place and I would love for it to have something half decant, but that's not the case. Breakfast sandwich's are meh, the pizza is trash, I got a pizza steak one time and I couldn't even eat it, people were telling me the wings were good so I gave them a try and you can get better ones one block away at the fire house for half the price, which isn't saying much because those are just average fried wing dings. OK, so I am pulling them down a notch because of the second crazy experience we had ordering here this weekend with their pricing. Mind you, the food is still good. Excellent, even. But they have some crazy pricing thing going on that I can't figure out. So it was late on Saturday night and we *had* been at the bar. But I went online and looked at their menu and decided on a hot roast beef sandwich, a club sandwich, and an order of cheese fries for me and the Boyfriend. Added it up in my head and it was about $17. A tad steep, to my mind, but OK...we're hungry and Bill's is our favorite nighttime place. When delivery came, they said, "That'll be $28." WHAT? Guy explained it away as a "delivery charge" but WHO charges $11 to get food delivered around the block? We were hungry and tired so we gave in but I was not too happy about this. Then, last night, Boyfriend calls (I live in DC during the week) in an absolute rage because he ordered a $7 cheesesteak and $5 fries. Guy showed up and, guess what? $18. HOW do you get a $6 delivery charge one time and an $11 another time? Also, the prices in their printed menu do not always correspond with their online menu. Anyway, I hate doing this to a local establishment and Bill's has great food but either they have a team of f*cked up delivery guys on the make or they are doing their own monkey business but make sure, before you hang up the phone on your order, to get the EXACT price down. C'mon Bill's...get that together! We all love you but no one is going to pay $30 for two sandwiches and an order of fries unless you're putting truffles on that shit. read more

My last night on vacation, a rainy yet beautiful Saturday night, I decided to order from Bill's. My 4th year down and it was my first time calling them. (I wanted something other than Domino's) I ordered a Saturday special they had. Cheeseburger hoagie w/ fries and coleslaw - $6.49 Also a 10pc hot wing - $6.99 $13.50 total came out to $17.25 -gave a $20. I got back in my hotel room, opened my food. My sandwich was so wrong. It was bad chicken with onions and mushrooms. What the heck? -my "hot wings" were plain with a nasty container of hot sauce to pour on the wings. (I'm used to shit already mixed in) -I asked for ketchup and mayo packets for my fries. There were none :( I called back and asked what a cheeseburger hoagie consisted of and told them they gave me the wrong sandwich. They said they would remake it and redeliver. I didn't wanna be a dick and ask for new fries since mine would be cold by it came back. It took an hour to come the first time. Then 50min to come back the second time. All my food was cold and not enjoyable whatsoever. -the wings were alright (plain only) (bad hot sauce) -the fries were mediocre. (No fucking ketchup) -_- -the cheeseburger hoagie lacked flavor and had very dry meat and little to no cheese, hardly any lettuce, a few onions and i swear only 3thinly sliced tomatoes between all this bread. It wasnt even hot at all when I received it. It was as if it were the original sandwich they forgot to deliver me the first time around!! I was extremely disappointed and threw over half the food out. I will most certainly never order from here again. --"Munchies" is a much much better choice and you would never go wrong with anything from there! read more

VERY VERY disappointed tonight. It is only MAY, not even summer season, and they messed up my order SO bad I will NEVER order form them again. Ordered 2 "Seafood Combos" for $14.99 each. Only ONE was delivered and had to call to get the second one delivered. No comp was offered for the mistake. Strike 1. Delivery was supposed to be in 30-45 minutes, and took over an hour. Strike 2. The dinners consisted of a TON of french fries, 1 small fish fillet, 3 small scallops, 3 butterfly shrimps, and 1 what I guess was supposed to be a crab cake, but it was disgusting. Strike 3. Fries: frozen/fried. Fish: frozen/fried. Shrimp: frozen/fried. Scallops: frozen/fried. Crab cake (you would be hard-pressed to find any trace of crab) Frozen/fried. Cole Slaw: out of a tub. To top it all off, they do not send any catsup for the fries. Who makes fries and doesn't include catsup??! I do not recommend this place. AT ALL. Plenty of other fish in the sea, as the saying goes. It's alright depending on what you order. Pizza is generally undercooked, the toppings are low-end, and their sides are all garbage. Heavy-coated wings, fries, mozzarella sticks (not good and served with hot sauce on our delivery--hopefully a mistake--- forget all of that. Actually the wings aren't bad but they're more like fried chicken, and the sauce is thin and plain, nothing special but passable if that's your thing. It's not my thing but hey it's my reivew. On the other hand their delivery is pretty reliable, and deli sandwiches are pretty good, and they're year-round. I mean just pretty good, nothing elite that tourists should make a special trip for. Wildwood prices. Generally we prefer AL&P which is maybe one star better. It has fewer sides but they're good (esp fries) and the pizza isn't amazing (but somewhat better). read more

Popped in 2 minutes before closing on a Tuesday night - we hadn't eaten, I asked if they had anything ready or quick they could throw together. No problem, they whipped up 2 really good cheesesteaks - the bread was really fresh, there was plenty of meat, very solid steaks. Definite 2 thumbs up for Bill's!! read more

Now I've only had pizza and wings from this establishment and let me tell you it's the most middle of the road pizza in the best possible way. Obviously my first pizza joint pick would be sams or mack's but Bill's is a nice alternative.
