    Turkey Hoagie
    Chelle K.

Delicious stuffed sandwiches made with fresh ingredients and soft bread. The turkey was flavorful, the lettuce and onions were crisp, and the loaf of bread was light and pillowy. The salad options (shrimp, potato, tuna, and chicken) in the deli case also looked homemade and fresh. My only complaint is the price point, clocking in around $21 per hoagie and ~$16 per sandwich. The sandwiches can definitely be split given the size, especially if paired with a bag of chips, but it's still a lot for one meal. For a special beach lunch I'll be back - maybe just not for everyday eating.

This is a long-time local favorite. Convenient location to the beach, huge selection of drinks, and the beeeest deli in the back! We called ahead to order our subs and they were ready quickly, super fresh, and delicious. Ya just gotta love Anthony's. It's not the most beautiful liquor store, but it's not supposed to be. It's rustic, charming, and one of the places you hope to never see get replaced in OC.

This sandwich was THE BOMB. Huge, delicious and exactly what we wanted. We didn't want to eat out restaurants, we just wanted a chill place and good sandwiches. If we knew about it sooner we wouldn't have waited until our last day to get food here. We were able to order our subs, go sit in the bar and they brought us them in the bar and we had a few drinks. It was quiet, the staff was awesome and the food was slammin!

Anthony's Liquors is more than just a liquor store. Although their alcohol selection is top tier in the area, their other offerings are amazing as well. Enjoy a freshly made hoagie or sandwich at the deli counter. The turkey was boars head and was delicious. The sandwiches can be custom and the workers are extremely accommodating. The freshly made sides looked really good as well. However, the sandwiches with a bag of chips was the perfect beach lunch. You can also dine it and enjoy a beverage at the bar or purchase liquor to go. The seltzer selection was amazing and the wine selection was top tier. The store is small but packed with goodness. Service was quick at the deli counter and checking out, making for a seamless process. Parking is limiting so it is best to reach by foot. Having a good market to go to while at the beach is key, and Anthony's Liquors did not disappoint!

Intrigued with the cool neon sign outside over the decades, and looking for fare transcending Subway and the like, I decided to give Anthony's a shot. I admit mixed feelings about Boar's Head over their Jarratt, VA facility and contaminated product, but hey, that was a while ago. The sandwich board is extensive and I really wanted a hoagie, but settled for the Steamship- a fusion of warm corned beef and pastrami on rye with deli mustard and Swiss cheese. There was some sticker shock, and the team had the sandwich up in a couple of minutes. There's a wide selection of snacks for fans of Utz and Herr's. There's also a wide array of snacks nuts! As cool as Anthony's is, I missed one thing: cold pop. If they had it, I just couldn't find-'em. The sandwich was decent. I think I may gravitate to the hoagies next visit. Recommend! .

Heard about these great sandwiches in Ocean City so definitely had to try it out. The sandwich shop is inside a liquor store so don't be intimidated. The workers are nice. They had a wide range of choices. When I got there, it was a good amount of people and they were very quick to take your order. We got the "Flagship" sandwich, which was filled with a bunch of their cold cuts. It was very flavorful - they put a lot of onions, which I love. The sandwiches are a bit pricey, but it can definitely feed 2 people. I only ate a half and I was full. I would come again when I'm in Ocean City and try their liverwurst sandwich. Highly recommend if you don't mind the price.

Stopped by for a sub before heading out. Definitely took a little time for them to make it but it was huge and loaded. Definitely freshly sliced meats and toppings too.

PROs - location , price and service CONs - Paarking. Hidden gem in a good location.. we were actually staying closer to this place , so parking wasn't a problem for us , but generally there are very few spots at the back for customers . When we went the parking slots were full and it's kind of a wait time for visitors . Apart from this , it's very affordable to get drinks here and drink ... other places charge premium for any type of beers . Many bars just give u bottles (like blue moon etc ) and charge about 6-7$ .. you can get a 6 pack in. Anthony's :) they also have snacks , food , kids drinks etc .. liked this place . Thumbs up z

One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. You can tell that the bread is freshly baked and the ingredients are fresh. They don't skimp on the "fillings", which is good because it ain't cheap! BUT you definitely get what you pay for! We ordered the Yankee Clipper the Mayday. HOLY MOLY were the stuffed and stuffed with goodness. Biting into the fresh and crisp lettuce and onions, the added juiciness of the tomatoes, and the m=freshly sliced meats and cheese...CHEFS KISS! My mouth is watering just remembering the sandwiches. There is nothing like a good sandwich, I'm telling you! I'd say the size is definitely shareable if you grab a bag of chips while you're there. The ambience of this place is what you'd think: a liquor store with a deli inside. Nothing crazy. I do wish they had a place you could sit and eat, even if it was outside. That would be a nice touch. We came here before heading out on a road trip back home, so we ate in our car before we left. The service was as expected. Nothing crazy but also friendly and keeping it moving. Overall, we had a good experience here and can't wait to come back for more.

My nephew-in-law was recommended here by a friend. He and my spouse are from Pennsylvania so hoagies are one of their fortes. ATMOSPHERE: It's a tiny liquor store with a deli, takeout only. MENU: 37 choices of hoagies, sandwiches and subs. Green and protein salads of all sorts. FOOD: The Windjammer - $19.00 The fresh and tasty hoagie was loaded with thinly-sliced capocollo (ham), pepperoni, pepperoni cheese (a first for me), lettuce, tomatoes and mayo. We axed the olive oil, vinegar and onions. My spouse and I split it, though the cut wasn't close to even. I took the smaller portion and was satisfied, taste and portion-wise. If you were wondering, the pepperoni cheese looked the part (cheese with specks of pepperoni) and had a good taste and texture to it. Whole Dill Pickles They're huge and were quartered. One order is good for two to share. Pure-tasting and crunchy. Way better than a Claussen! SERVICE: Being from Pennsylvania, my spouse was not used to a friendly person being on the other end of the phone line, especially at a deli as we phoned in our slightly large order. We were told to come in a short 10 minutes. Deli service was welcoming, patient and professional, as were the cashiers; a rarity these days. OVERALL: Great food and service can mean only one thing... A 5-star rating!

We always order two for the table, but this year they were burnt and had very few toppings with almost no cilantro crema. Please see the photo for the side‑by‑side comparison. My son also looks forward to the chocolate milkshake every summer, but the machine was reportedly down for the next hour. I understand that things happen, but it added to an already disappointing food experience. Several people in our group ordered chicken sandwiches and said the chicken was extremely chewy. None of them finished their meal. Brass Balls, I truly hope this is not the new norm. With so many dining options, this is the quickest way to lose loyal customers. Customer service - 5 out of 5 Wait time - 5 out of 5 Cleanliness - 5 out of 5 Atmosphere - 5 out of 5 Food quality - 2 out of 5 With a total score of 22 out of 25, I am giving this place a B+. We will return in the summer of 2027, but with the hope that the food quality returns to its usual standard.

Bartender Jeff Mick pulled up and took care of us. We had a couple shots (which we totally needed at that point) and I ordered two soups to try and push towards my week quota of 10 soups. The French onion was very good - good temp and the flavor was on-point. The MD crab soup was also good with the flavor and temp. Overall - was surprised by the place upstairs and how cool it was.

But it is still a solid half pound grilled Pub House burger for $8 plus toppings. I really enjoyed the lettuce wrap, the burger was crispy outside and juicy inside. Husband ordered a burger with a nice fluffy toasted bun, pepperjack cheese and fries, included lettuce, tomato and pickles. Solid. Medium rare by request also perfect. What more could you want? Oh, a $6 orange crush if you wait till 3 when happy hour starts. Trust me if this place were near my Phoenix home I would be a regular patron.
