This pizza isn't bad! Cash only, maybe a little expensive, but large. The pizza tastes good cold.

I'm old and have been grabbing slices at Mack's since I was 11. That was a loooooong time ago but what hasn't changed is the quality of their food. Don't believe me, I was there on a random Friday night well after Labor Day and they were packed. One of the things I also like is that they haven't updated it much. Brings me back to those days all those years ago when I could barely climb up one of their counter stools and fork over my 35 cents for a slice (45 for pepperoni). Worth noting is that notoriously famous Franconi's, their neighbor that boasts nazi stickers on their refrigerator, was empty. Not sure if it was a result of their food or their politics but I doubt they'll be back next year. Can't say the same about Mack's who's 50+ year tenure on the Wildwood boardwalk is thriving and delicious. Thanks for the memories (& the pizza).

As others have mentioned the pizza is greasy. I'm all about a little grease but this was way too much. The bottle of the pizza was SOAKED grease to the point it was glistening orange. We only ate half of it and threw the rest out, not worth the $33.

Our favorite pizza for decades in Wildwood! I've been coming here since I was 5 years old. Now my family comes here with me on vacation. Mack's is our favorite. Some prefer other establishments, but for the nostalgia of our childhoods, and delicious pizza, Mack's is a must when in Wildwood!

We can't miss a slice of pizza at Mack's on the boardwalk NJ !!! Family tradition and always a stop for a slice !!

White with broccoli on the bottom. Sausage and red up top.

Highly debated and sensitive topic for some BUT, in my opinion, Mack's is the best boardwalk pizza in the game. Perfect thin crust gives you that boardwalk bite, sauce is balanced, plenty of cheese, and the toppings taste fresh. They stay busy but staff and the cooks keep things flowing quickly. Cash only - don't forget that part. This photo legit tasted like summer at the Jersey shore. If you know, you know.

favorite pizza in Wildwood NJ since 1953 on the boardwalk watched a pie being made cheese, then sauce, then more cheese pushing close to the elusive orange slice i love this style, excellent couple of slices & a coke whole pie to share service is prompt, ambiance is great It's the beach !!! enjoy

The Three-Slice Challenge is a recent family tradition that continues to this day. On our first leg of the challenge, we stopped at Mack's Pizza for a delicious plain slice. Freshly made, it was a little doughy, a little cheesy, and had sweet tasting tomato sauce. I liked it more than my kids. It reminded me of a good shore slice. Some say it's the best slice of pizza you can get in Wildwood. At $9 for three slices, it was a good deal. Four stars overall for our experience. On our second leg of the challenge, we went to Sam's Pizza Palace, my kids' favorite. Even though our slices were not fresh out of the oven, they were crispier, had a little more cheese, and had a sauce that was not so sweet but tasted more like the tanginess of tomato paste. I'll have to admit I like this slice better. At $8.25 for three slices, it was a great deal. Five stars overall for our experience. On our third leg of the challenge, we went to Sorrento's II. The slices were larger, more doughy, more cheesy, and with a similar taste profile to Sam's... but we didn't like it. Bigger is not always better. My kids got bbq chicken slices. One liked it. The other said the chicken tasted old. At a whopping $18 for three slices, it was a terrible deal. Two stars overall for our experience.

Their pizza is really good and the workers are really nice. It's really nice in there and it's a great place to go on the boardwalk.

My favorite on the boardwalk, thin and crispy with sauce that isn't too sweet. A staple every summer.

As I walked in I noticed they did an amazing job of putting bunch of table together, making a giant row for all of our party to sit together. Inside of the restaurant seemed nice. Their menu had a wide range of Italian dishes including small plates, salads, sandwiches, pizzas and entrees from land and sea. From plates I got to try the zucchini fritters and polpo affogato (grilled octopus), both were excellent. Among pizzas, I tried the four cheese, the fig, the truffle and the Margherita. All their pizzas were so good, loved the toppings and the crust. Among the entrees, Bronzino oreganato, linguini and clams, chicken parmesan pasta were also really top notch. Despite the restaurant being house full, the staff members did an excellent job of keeping up with the tables. Our server was a pro, handled all different orders and requests of 18 people efficiently. The kitchen also kept up with all the dishes, though it took them some extra time but all the pizzas and dishes were cooked perfectly. There was a 3% fee for using credit card. But overall everyone in our group had a wonderful dinner experience.

For today's order, I opted for the pizza of the month special and it certainly did not disappoint and was made with Pepperoni whipped ricotta basil and mikes hot honey. Never again! I…read moreshould have been tipped off to what fortune awaited us when there was not one other customer in the place at twelve noon, on a Saturday, in the summer. Ordered a dozen garlic Parmesan wings, two personal "pizzas", one regular & the other white. Let's start with the wings. Absolutely no flavor, which will be a recurring theme. All they did was sprinkle Parmesan cheese on the wings. To be fair, they were crispy, but again, the breading tasted like cooking oil. Drowning the wing in ranch dressing was the only way to make it palatable. Twenty five minutes later the "pizzas" arrived. The white pie was barely edible. Literally just burnt mozzarella cheese on a thin, hard, favor-less crust. Maybe the garlic & spice delivery truck didn't come this week? Their regular pie definitely was an improvement over the white, but nothing to write home about. No joke, you can make a better tasting pizza at home using only three items from Costco...stone flat bread, mozzarella cheese, & Mama Rao's sauce. I will acknowledge that the place was clean & the young lady working the counter was attentive. They also do have free refills on fountain drinks, so there's that. Overall, the fact that this place is a franchise boggles my mind. Like, how to did someone get hoodwinked into thinking this was a wise long term investment opportunity? I wish this place luck, but let's be honest, it won't be here the next time I am in Wildwood.
