They have a great community, classes are fun, and all of the folks (staff + other students) are friendly. I just so happen to have signed up when they were running a promotion and signed up for the more classes immediately. I have been going for the past couple of months and always leave feeling good about the class. There was a full blown show at the end of the season in Majestic theatre. Even if I feel low energy before showing up, just being here I find myself laughing, having fun and feeling so freely joyful. I really appreciate how attuned the instructors are at not only teaching the generic dance steps, but also really seeing what will benefit each student, and teaching accordingly. I'm someone who cares most about the feeling and essence of the dance - I love feeling inspired while dancing, and I really feel this here. While she has been in gymnastics and…read moretumbling since she was 2 she became fearful of doing forward rolls so while searching for something to get her creative energy rolling we found Ballet Academy Ventura. We stopped in for the free class of creative movement and what started as nerves and sitting around for the first half of the class to fully engaged the second half. After that trial she couldn't stop talking about it. We enrolled into the classes and it's been a blast to start each saturday with this. The instructors are patient and keep classes rolling and are very engaging to get those who aren't feeling the early morning start. I can't wait to see what the program has to offer and the ease and flexibility of everything makes it too simple.

As a parent one always wants to indulge their children in the cute little things life offers. We asked the owner a simple question and she replied it's in the hand out. We asked her for help logging onto her website she replied, "Everyone else can do it." We took our child out and as she grew older we decided to give it another try. We found ourselves in the same dilemma. The owner is very condescending when one asks for help. I will never go to this place again. As an adult I am not in the practice of paying someone to be arrogant, condescending or rude to my family.
