My daughter looks forward to every class because of her. However, the front desk experience has been disappointing. Ms. Chantal often seems to be in a very unpleasant mood, and while I initially brushed it off, it's been consistent week after week. Unfortunately, it creates a draining energy when we walk in. I hope this feedback helps improve the overall atmosphere, because the quality of instruction has been wonderful.

And it was cute to see her enjoying it etc. Then rehearsals for the bi-yearly performance came and boy did I melt with regret. The teenagers still need their teacher off to the side to remember choreography. Not only that the studio basically hood winks the audience by not lighting the teacher off to the side. Now what do I do my daughter loves it her teachers are sweet but I don't think it benefits her. So I continue a few months until she gets bored. I am not here to invest years into studio that teaches nothing but lies and vanity for superficial gain. Not to mention I try to cancel and I guess in the contract I have pay an additional month. No no not happy at ALL!!!!!

I took a belly dance class with Haley, and I really enjoyed it. However, there are a few points…read morethat I was concerned about. 1) It is very important to stretch before exercising. Her class did not start up with a warm up stretching session. I would end up coming earlier and stretching before class. 2) Proper form and technique was not touched upon as thoroughly as it should have been. You can cause serious harm to yourself if you are not practicing the proper form while belly dancing. All dance classes I have taken previously emphasis safe dance practices, I didn't really get that from her class. Haley was a very fun instructor, and the practices were very enjoyable, but I wouldn't take the class again for the above specified reasons. Edit: I would also like to add that there was a day or two that she was clearly going through some personal trials and used the hour to make herself feel better (left all of us behind and danced for herself) instead of focusing on her students. That felt very unprofessional to me.

I took her Belly Dance classes for over a year but had to stop when my schedule got too hectic. From what I garnered, she loves to teach and see her students excel. Even if I feel low energy before showing up, just being here I find myself laughing, having fun and feeling so freely joyful. I really appreciate how attuned the instructors are at not only teaching the generic dance steps, but also really seeing what will benefit each student, and teaching accordingly. I'm someone who cares most about the feeling and essence of the dance - I love feeling inspired while dancing, and I really feel this here. The staff is extremely rude and why are they scared to allow parents to watch their kids? What are they hiding? Call the school yourself and ask. You'll see this is a rule there. I'm looking for another school. You don't need to pay for a school that has rude staff and refuses to allow your child to see you through a window. This is creepy. Not normal. They are very unprofessional. Also telling me the clsss was full and no ones in the class at all except for my daughter alone with an adult with the curtain down. No thanks. Do research find a real school that doesn't hide your children.
