Her…read moreinteractions with certain students often come across as rude and unprofessional, creating an environment that feels dismissive and unsupportive. There appears to be little regard for students' feelings or personal circumstances, which is especially troubling in a creative learning environment where encouragement and respect are essential. Students attend Nossi to learn, grow, and develop their artistic abilities not to feel singled out or discouraged. When a classroom becomes hostile or uncomfortable, it affects students' motivation, confidence, and overall willingness to attend. No student should feel unwelcome or hesitant to come to class due to the behavior of an instructor. If this is the standard being upheld, it raises important questions about the values the school promotes and the environment it strives to provide for those investing their time, trust, and tuition. A positive, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere should be a priority, and I hope these concerns are taken seriously for the benefit of current and future students.

I started my experience here at their "dorms" these are absolutely not fit for living. They do not…read moretell you who you are living with until the day you move in. The photos on the website are extremely minimal and outdated. We all paid for them blindly. $700++ to live in a crumbling building with roaches, bedbugs, black mold, no hot water, broken elevators, no parking, and NO DOORS ON YOUR ROOM. oh and also they sold a building to another school (without informing tenants) and since there has been endless catcalling, littering, car break-ins, theft, and firearms being present. Also their solution to the black mold growing in the a/c units (that do not work btw, in summer the rooms reach 90 degrees easily) is just locking the door to the unit so you can't see it! They do not care about all of the bugs and mess, in fact they blame you for it! Also they won't tell you this online but if you have the 6 person room, two rooms are in absolute darkness (i swore this is illegal). Now on to the actual school. Instructors are actually quite good. You do a whole lot of nothing in your four hours but thats not horrible. For most programs, they require you to print and mount your projects. Recently, Cyrus decided our printers weren't making him enough money ($1 per page btw) and sold them! So there is no longer anywhere to print on campus unless you ask the front desk. I'm sure not being able to print your projects was just a necessary budget cut so Cyrus can have ANOTHER tesla or porsche (he has multiple) You will just go to class and go home because there are no clubs and no events on campus (also they buy expired food for the vending machines AND took away our fork privileges for no real reason ). Despite all advertising, here are no mental health or general health resources available ON campus, the "therapist" is never there. If you have any issue with the school and try to bring it up, the only way to get through is say you're dropping out. Almost every person I know has dropped out or has considered it frequently. Financial aid office WILL lose your payments and try to charge you twice and say you never sent the money, they will lose any and all paperwork, and honestly they have no idea who anyone at this school is because they have charged students multiple times, made duplicates of students, and more. To conclude, (although I could keep going all day) save your money and go somewhere else. Vol state probably has better programs for a better price. Or at the very least, live in an off campus apartment (but hey be my guest if you don't want to keep your car and you love bugs crawling on you while you sleep) 1/10

That being said, let me list the ways that from that perspective, I can provide you with my 4-star review and why they don't get a 5th star. 1. They are creative - I don't mean, they know how to use crafts and make pretty things. I mean that they have a staff and student body that is committed to creating what they envision and they WILL create it. They have the know-how and motivation to do that. 2. I am actress - from that perspective, I have been on several sets with Watkins directors, producers, production designers, ADs and DPs and they are fun-loving and ready to work. They're not afraid of a challenge. 3. Organizationally they've come a long way (sans the final star). Having worked with a local production company as a producer/and various other titles, I've found that communication is key. I will simply state that one must be ready to be open, prompt, and particularly amiable with clients they need to keep and new clients they'd like to work with long-term. It's a relationship and those take work. Finally, I like this school very much, from my POV. It's a great opportunity for creatives who attend and those who'd like to help create (moi) something memorable - something that will be there to reflect upon and hopefully, frame by frame, help to inspire and influence minds and create future filmmakers and individuals who will do so with integrity. There you have it. Take it or leave it. Or try it out for yourself. :)

The campus is beautiful especially with recent state of the art renovations and the staff that I have encountered were all very passionate about leveraging a student's, artistic, intellectual and athletic potential. As we all know education is a major issue in our country but this school appears to be part of the elite schools that offer an outstanding educational experience from grade school through high school graduation. It's going to cost you though, with grade school tuition at around $16,000 a year and high-school hovering at $18,000.... you must invest or pray to god they offer your student financial aid which is available. The good news is USN gives over $1.8 million in need-based financial aid to 18% of the students. Even attending the Artclectic event showcased how USN truly invests into it's educational model and really stands out from the pack of sub-par schools that are unfortunately part of the thread of the city.

They took the time to guide me through different options, explaining the choices without overwhelming me, and helped me select a frame and glass that elevated the piece beautifully. The final result exceeded my expectations--it looks like something you would see in a gallery, not just hanging in a home. It was an investment, but absolutely worth it for something so personal and lasting. Every time I look at it, it brings me right back to that experience. They have started doing a little better about having outlet options, but mainly at those tall, long skinny tables. The other semi complaint I have is that they close early. 3 pm is early when you want to try and work. Drinks are good. I don't drink a ton of coffee these days, but what I've had there was good. I get either their chai or matcha. Both of those I enjoy! I had a sandwich there recently. I wanted to roll my eyes at the price truthfully. However, when it came.. WOAH. It was GIANT. I was thoroughly impressed. It was really really good. I had to take half of it home and put it in the fridge. When I came back home hours later... it was STILL GOOD. The bread was not soggy either! That's HUGE! Ok so overall, I highly recommend this place and it's one of my go to spots.
