We received a gift certificate for my birthday way back in April. Thinking it was a bar only, we waited to use until our boys were home from school. OMG Why did we wait so long! Yes it is a bar but more of a supper club. Smaller bar area. It that didn't bother us. We went in a Friday, early, and were seated right away. Very helpful staff. Limited menu, but still something for everyone. I had the ribeye steak and it was PERFECTION on my plate!! Size was perfect. Taste was out of this world - I literally licked my plate after!!! When you go to a supper club, there are certain expectations... you expect great drinks, good food, friendly staff, and a certain vibe you just can't get at a normal restaurant. Billy's on Main hits the nail on the head in all four of these categories. As for the drinks, the old fashioneds here are top notch, so are the amaretto sours, and their ice cream drinks are to die for. I didn't get a chance for any other drink, but I'll be coming back. The service was by far the best part of the experience. The bartenders were super friendly and extremely nice. Super welcoming and personable, it was a lot of fun chatting with them at the bar. Once seated, I couldn't believe the prices! Ribeye for $31?? Tenderloin in the $20's?! What a treat. And as for the vibe, this was classic supper club. We recently moved to the area and have been searching for a quality supper club--Billy's on Main has become a go-to for us. We've eaten here multiple times, and each time the steaks have been cooked and seasoned perfectly. The drinks are made well, and the classic supper club touch of cheese and crackers at the bar while waiting is a nice bonus. If you want to take out the family or go on date, you'll be happy with what they put on your plate! Bar tenders are very friendly, wait staff is too. Food is tasty and reasonably priced too! Hubby had a sales call to do in Luxi, so we decided to try a place in that area. After the sales call, homeowner asked us, heading out to eat now? (it was a friday at 5:30pm after all :) ) We replied with yep! He recommended Billy's On Main, so we decided to venture out. We pulled up to what looked like a supper club type place. We walked in and it was smaller, so we decided to wait at the bar until we were called to our table. They had the typical supper club type snacks on the ledge, liver pate, pretzels cheese spread. The bartender was very friendly and jovial. The tenderloin and soups were very good, I asked if I could try a piece of the beer battered fish, the waitress brought me 1 piece....OH MY! That was very good so I will be getting that next time. YUMMM! read more

This place is a very busy restaurant in restaurant because it is always so good! They definitely have one of my favorite perch fry's in the area, if not my favorite, Friday nights are usually a really long wait and we try to call ahead. But if you do have to wait you can dine on the cheese spread and crackers and have a drink at the bar. You get a nice sized dinner for the price- comes with a soup or salad, the most amazing warm, soft rolls ever, and then for the perch it has the traditional fixings of rye bread, a potato choice, and coleslaw. I love the twice baked potato. I usually can't eat it all and end up taking some of the fish home. Seems like they are usually nice sized fillets too for perch. Good place for date night or a nicer meal. Always great service and friendly staff! read more

Billy's is a big draw in a small town so if you're planning to dine on a weekend, get there early or call ahead. All of the food on the menu is amazing, especially the steaks. Tried a bucket of chicken, cheese curds, and a burger. Chicken was very good with good breading. The cheese curds were also very good and I rate them in my top 3 compared to other cheese curds I have eaten. The burger was over-buttered and too salty, but many people like it that way. read more

Was there for the Thursday special - bacon wrapped 8 oz tenderloin with sautéed mushrooms. The steak was done beautifully and was very tender. The homemade rolls known as Billy Buns were warm, tender and delicious. read more

Their steak is to die for. So darn good. Also their buns are amazing I always take some home too. Soup is always very good no matter what you get at Billy's you will go home stuffed with atleast a couple of to go boxes. The staff is amazing as well. This is a great establishment. read more

Always a great time whenever we get to Billy's. Known for some of the best Old Fashions in the area. I usually have the beef tenderloin which is always a winner, and I have never been disappointed with any item on the menu. The staff Is friendly and the service is always top notch. Wow, what a find, worth the drive from Green Bay, Sturgeon Bay, Algoma, and all around wi for great steaks. Get there early, 4 pm as the place fills up fast. Excellent service, nice variety on the menu. Highly recommend. 3 quality steaks available plus fish and sandwiches. 12 oz strip steak cooked to perfection.
